Welcome to week 3 of the LSD-25 grow. Removed humidifier since it's been raining the past couple of days and RH is up. Exciting times right now trying to keep up with her fast growth. Trying to maintaining a level canopy and keeping her short and stocky. So far, I am enjoying growing my first auto strain. Definitely a change of pace in a good way. Keeping me on my toes.
TIP: Water your plants before you start any training to minimize the risk of snapping any branches.
Day 2 - had 5-6 nodes, I removed the lowest node and kept the 3 above it. You'll see the before and after pictures.
Day 3 - Fed her another dose of water, Recharge, and CalMag. Began performing LST by using these thick bendable wires that I stake in the soil. I usually pull branches by using a thinner wire to a safety pin tethered to the fabric pot.
Day 5 - She is growing pretty fast and already showing signs of pre flower. All that was done today was a few adjustment with the LST.
Day 7 - More adjustment to the LST and removed 4 fan leaves that were blocking the smaller growth.
More training and defoliation is expected in the upcoming weeks. Since she is already showing pre flowers, Mammoth P will be added to her feed until flush. Temperatures should be dropping in the upcoming weeks, that should help bring out the colors of this train 😉
Week 1 Day 5 picture-I'm concerned about the leaves praying to the sun gods and slight yellowing. What's happening here?
Is it due to low humidity and possibly light burn. Humidifier has been added to the tent and light distance increase to 20 inches as a precaution 😉
This strain surprisingly loves calcium a lot!
I almost add it at every feeding day although i have hard water in my region.
Amazing LST bro your plant is beautifull👏, it's a quite brave move that you choose to topping her...
@Astrolavos, I though I was already giving enough. Too bad I had to learn the hard way. Next time I run this strain, won't let it happen again.
Thanks! I have to do some pretty hard core training due to limited vertical growing space 😉
wow you really gave her 1 gallon water at once, i wont do that those fabric pots keep the water very good inside( bad for indoors).i hope she dries nicely. and i wont repeat it... greetings
@Mrs_Larimar, So far she gets watered once a week. I expect to water more frequent once she gets bigger. Most of my other plants in the same fabric pot needs watering every 3-4 days. 👍
Ill be following your grow. Im doing the same, lsd25, frist time grower using bushmaster cocoloco with kindsoil. I just wanted to keep it as simple as possible since its my first time. Tomorrow will be day 8 for my plant. Ive just been giving 2-3 oz of water every morning, since i heard they shouldnt be over watered. Tomorrow i was thinking of upping the water to a 1-2cups since ive seen in most lsd 25 diaries they give .26 gallon per plant daily. Whats your take on watering?
@jourelemode, Nice! I just followed your diary for a comparison. Looking forward to the progress 👊
The term overwatering is not the amount of water you give, it's the frequency of watering. I usually wait until the top soil is dry then I water. Around 2-3 times a week. If your leaves are staring to turn yellow, thats a sign of overwatering 😉
haha, very nice start. Yeah i feel you i had some sleepless Nights too for choosing the Right Seed, But at last other Factors met the decision for me , and iam now with Rhino Ryder. You got a good Writing style and i look forward if you update you Diary ( follow)
@Mrs_Larimar, Power draw for the Quantum Board is about 110W. I'll be using that for the whole growth cycle. I have a dimmable power supply and it's set at about 50%. I will gradually increase to 100% as the plant grows.
I thought the detail you put into every week is very informative. I think you did good by topping it and you did a great job training it. Sorry the rest of the grow didnt go well........ty for the time and effort you put into the journal. A new grower could learn alot...
