Sejanus21 I germinated two seeds, one in a paper towel first (to see whether the seed germinates), which I transferred to a jiffy peat pellet and the second directly in a jiffy peat pellet. Today I transferred them with some Dynomyco into their 11l pots. I will mainly keep them in my grow cellar, where I have a SanLight EVO 3-80; during daytime I plan to transfer them to the greenhouse, where I have a Spider Farmer SF-1000 to support the sunlight in the mornings and evenings. I hope these two girls survive, my first Royal Creamatic died after being transferred to her pot.

Sejanus21 The ladies grow without problems. I keep them in the grow room for now. The greenhouse is still a little too cold here in Germany.

Sejanus21 The ladies are growing ok. I put them in the basement at night and in the greenhouse for the days. They will stay in the greenhouse from now on.

Sejanus21 The growth has been good. However, #1 is developping better than #2; the reason might be that only #1 has Plagron Royal Mix, whereas #2 has a mixed substrate from last year; I will add Plagrom Grow in the next days. #1 responds very well to LST; #2 receives no LST. The plants are outside or in the greenhouse depending on the weather.
I had to fight a major attack by thrips and gnats. I manually treated every leaf and flower stem by rubbing of the insects and spraying them with CannaCure from every side. Also I applied nematodes to the substrate. The ladies look much happier now. This will not be a big problem going forward, but I learned an important lesson: Every day counts when these little devils attack your precious ladies.

Sejanus21 The weather was quite rainy and cold, so the plants were in the greenhouse. Growth is good. I gave plant #2 Alga Grow, because I used Royal Mix soil from last year. Plant #1 did not take LST too well so I stopped it.

Sejanus21 The plants were in the greenhouse for the whole week, due to the bad weather in Germany. Also, I probably watered #1 too much; the upper leaves are crippled (I will file a separate question). Plant #2, which is in soil from last year, still is pretty small, but looks healthier. I will reduce watering and feeding this week. Flowering is already starting.
The leaves of my pheno #1 are crippled and deep green at the top. Is this overwatering?

Sejanus21 Royal Creamatic #1 is still looking strange, but at least develops some flowers. #2 is much more promising, a lot more activity on the plant, although she is still quite small. The overwatering issue seems to be gone. The environmental conditions were ideal. We had a lot of sunshine and less rain last week in Germany. I put her in the sunlight at day and in the greenhouse at night.

Sejanus21 The weather last week in my region of Germany was cold and rainy, so I kept the plants in the greenhouse. Finally they start developing some nice flowers. Pheno #1 has one main cola and pheno #2 is actually quite bushy.

Sejanus21 Both plants grow their buds nicely. Although they both had their problems (#1 is long with few lateral branches and #2 is small and bushy), I will be able to get at least some quality flowers of this interesting strain from both plants. The weather was less nice, though, so I kept them in the greenhouse for most of the week. We have ideal conditions ahead in the next days, so things are looking great.

Sejanus21 This week the conditions were ideal. A lot of sunshine, warm temperatures. As in the last week, the Royal Creamatics were in the garden at day and in the greenhouse at night. Pheno #1 made another jump in growth (untypical in the late flowering stage), while #2 is staying in bonsai shape below 50cm. That ist intersting, because for pheno #2 I did not use Plagron Royalmix as for #1, but reused substrate from last year. The buds are visibly fattening. I will give them Green Sensation in the next week.

Sejanus21 The weather was rainy and colder again. Therefore, I kept the ladies in the greenhouse for most of the time. The buds of pheno #1 are becoming visibly fatter and sparkling with resin, bonsai pheno #2 (44cm) is a week behind. I am not sure whether I will harvest both of them before my holiday in three weeks. I will look at the trichoms next week and then we will see.

Sejanus21 Due to the continued bad weather (rain, high humidity) both Royal Creamatics have developed bud rot. It is still in the early stages and I cut off the affected buds (including on both plants the top buds). There is still a fair amount of buds remaining and with sunny and dry weather in the next days, I will see whether the ladies survive without further rot. The trichoms are becoming milky, so I will definitely cut them in the next 10 days before my holiday.

Sejanus21 This was the final week for Royal Creamatic The weather was hot and humid. The ladies were outside at day and in the greenhouse at night. They only got water. I am still very worried because of the bud rot in the top buds which I removed in the last week. I installed a second powerful ventilator in the greenhouse. Upon inspection today, I could not see more rot. Anyway, according to the trichoms, pheno #1 is ready and pheno #2 must be ready, because I will be on holiday at the end of next week and will harvest them before I leave.
Royal Creamatic was the most problematic strain I grew so far. I got them as freebies so I do not complain. The phenos were very different, one small and bushy and the second larger with basically only a main bud. Both had their grow problems in the beginning, probably due to colder temperatures and pests. In the last weeks both got bud rot due to unusually high humidity in the German "summer". I could save around half or the plants. The smell is very unique. My first impression is that is too "artificial", but I will wait a few more days of curing before trying. It might as well be a pleasant surprise.

Sejanus21 I cut both ladies in the last week. After cutting, I washed them in three buckets: 1 with soda and lemon juice water, 1 warm water and 1 cold water. That removed all pests and dirt, wonderful! I took the sugar leaves and popcorn buds (30g) from pheno #1 and tried to make hash by freezing the material and then shaking and filtering it trough a micro-net. This resulted in a total of under 0.2g after two passes: disappointing. Therefore, I decided to use the trimmings of pheno #2 to make a golden dragon tincture with 96% alcohol and MCT-oil as final application. I use the noids pot for decarb and evaporation of the alcohol, highly recommended! I took 1g dried flowers of pheno #2 (which I cut a few days earlier and trimmed dry) with me on holiday and will vape in a few days. Stay tuned :-)
A shame the girls didn't produce for you! My full indoor run with her went extremely well and I love how she smoked. Those German summers seem to be very wet! That must make it harder to keep the botryis away.
I got her as free seeds too. Now 1 of 3 royal creamatic germinated for me and that is not the odds I get from Royal Queen Seeds, who's beans I do recommend to folk. Taste wise I liked this, im quite a sweet, desert - terp afficionado, but honestly the yield was nothing worth even weighing, maybe 14 grams and made me glad that I do run a mixed tent, which is a bit of an insurance policy.
