I germinated in a cup of water and Bigfoot root stimulator at 1/4tsp per gallon. I planted into a cup with Fox Farms Happy Frog soil. It sprouted in 2 days. Growing this for my aunt, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Transplanted to a bigger pot at the beginning of the week. I’ll do it again in a day or two. She’s progressing nicely. I can’t freaking wait to smell chocolate.
I Transplanted to her final container this week, and then topped at the 5th node a couple days later. She’s starting to grow vigorously. Given the genetics of this strain, I may have to have a short veg. I have the space, but maybe not enough light to let her get huge.
I defoliated and stuck her in the flower tent today. She’s starting to grow way too quickly. I’m concerned about the stretch. We'll see what happens! Haha!
She’s fully recovered from defoliation. And then some. Pistils are developing nicely, and I’ve begun feeding Tiger Bloom. I can’t wait for that chocolate smell. I might eat the whole plant when I get the munchies.
She’s packing them in deep! Each branch is going to be one long cola, it looks like. I’m really excited by the structure. Should start smelling up the joint soon. But it’s hard to tell over the Jack and Strawberry Banana Grape in the tent.
Buds are swelling up. Smells pretty strong, but I can’t identify individual scents. My nose is super stuffy today. 😄 Next week should really bring out some chocolate, with any luck.
I strayed from my feeding schedule last week. I fed every 3rd watering, as I was concerned with how quickly she was drying out. Outside temps have been erratic, which causes relatively minor temperature fluctuations in my tent. But it’s caused much thirst this last week. I had some leaf fadeout, but the buds are still chugging along. Should see much swelling in the next week or two.
Flushing for the next two weeks. Then I’ll harvest. I’ve got to support that side branch that’s got a bit of a cowlick. The buds at the tops are enormous.
Harvested at 68 days of flower. The smoke is awesome. I let it cure for a couple months. It has a robust flavor, like coffee. Maybe there was chocolate in there, but it’s hard to tell over all the chocolate I eat. It’s an awake sativa buzz, without being intense or overpowering. The buds were plentiful and fluffy, and packed the entirety of the branches. They got heavy by the end.
I’ll be growing this one again. I think it’d be great in a SCROG. The colas end up packed and dense like a mace. It clones well too. I took a few cuttings for a friend. I’m going to try this out with a MegaCrop next time, and I bet I get better terpenes.
Nice mate and you have every right to worry about her stretch she is a big girls and will more then triple in size off my own experience and seeing other growing her. Mine was flipped same week has you and mine was smaller she finished stretching in week five of flower where she grew a extra 2inch but she looks good and the best of luck
@CommanderCannabis, Unlikely! I’ll need to add supports. 😄 Working 60 hour weeks. Sometimes my plants get away from me before I can get to them. Lol. This will be an adventure
Late to the game my friend! She looks awesome - there’s still a chance I end up growing this if the shipment doesn’t get pilfered by customs! I’ve got some reading to do...👍
