The girls are actually 14 days old today! So the first week of veg is all wrapped up. They have all been doing well! (Especially fat banana... Her growth was astonishing.) I am happy that Purple Punch seems to have bounced back in a good way! Her first true leaves will always show the damage, but it didn't take her down! (Still not sure specifically what caused this to occur.)
I gave the girls 16 ounces of water a few days after transplant. Once again using the ring method. (2-inch ring of water around the outermost leaves) And repeated the process a few days later with 32 ounces. I had to feed Banana and Punch again just yesterday because they were thirsty! I think the bigger tent just has more airflow so the large containers dry out faster when they aren't being fully saturated. I will probably be feeding Slushy Fist today when lights come on in the later afternoon.
I gave Banana and Punch just a taste of Grow Big and Kangaroots to see how they respond. Along with a dose of Cal-Mag to get things where I want them. I intend to spray all three with Flowers Kiss here in under an hour when the lights go off.
I am going to start introducing some nutes to Slushy Fist as well, and we will start adjusting from there! Everyone seems to be happy and healthy so far.
Good luck!
The fat banana plants in my current grow are a bunch of dense bushes, I hardly can see the stem/nodes through all the side branches and leaves.
Good strain choice!
@Shishio, well my bananas did not stretch too much so far. They rather grow slow but steady and keep being very bushy.
Did defoliate last sunday and now I have to redo again because I cant see the ground again with multiple layers of leaves blocking lower nodes...
@taprootArmy, looks like my Banana is following that same path! I hope her flower stretch gives me some room to work with or I will need to get the clippers out!
