FastBuds Tangie'Matic is a sativa dominant autoflowering hybrid. The breeder's estimated life cycle is 65-80 days from germination. I will be using a 3 gallon pot on this one to attempt to control her size, as this is one of FastBuds larger strains, and her sativa dominance. The setup for this grow will be:
Tent size - 4'x4'x6.5'
6 in 440 CFM fan ducted to push through air cooled hood
3 gallon fabric pot
Pro-Mix HP + 20% extra perlite for aeration and drainage
600 watt HPS on dimmable ballast
GH Flora Series nutrients with GH Supplements,Terpinator
All measurements are recorded in ml/gal.
11/23 - Seed was placed in moistened Rapid Rooter after soaking in 1/4 strength Clonex solution.
11/27 - Sprout above ground.
11/28 - Day 1, just some tap water pH to 5.8.
11/30 - Day 3, fed 190 ppm Clonex solution pH to 5.8.
12/6 - Day 9, weird looking 2nd leaf set. Mutation, or sativa characteristic?
12/7 - Day 10, fed according to seedling wk of GH DTW schedule at full strength. Mixed to 265 ppm and pH was set to 5.8.
12/9 - Day 12, fed again with seedling mix pH set to 5.8, 2nd set now starting to look normal.
12/10 - Day 13, accidentally knocked her over while moving some plants around, and knocked half the media out of the growbag, as well as she came to a rest with her stem bent over. I hope she recovers quickly.
12/13 - Day 16, she is going really slow. Moved her into the LED tent for a temporary stay as humidity is higher in there so she can get more established.
12/14 - Day 17, she actually looks a little perkier.
12/16 - Day 19, fed at 465 ppm with pH set to 5.8, mixed according to early growth wk of GH DTW schedule. Base nutes went in at 50% strength.
12/26 - Day 29, playing Christmas Catch-up on all my diaries, She was fed today at 1050 ppm according to Transition week of GH DTW schedule with pH adjusted to 5.8. She is recovering nicely from her poor start.
12/29 - Day 32 fed with transition nutes again. She is stretching nicely.
12/31 - Day 34, she is hungry!! fed her again with transition nutes. She should begin bloom soon.
1/2 - Day 36, fed with early bloom nutes according to GH DTW schedule, mixed to 960 ppm and pH adjusted to 5.8. She will be moved into the HPS tent once there is room available.
1/4 - Day 38, gave water + Hydroguard ph set to 5.8.
1/8 - Day 42, fed her with early bloom nutes according to GH DTW schedule. Terpinator was bumped to 10ml/gal for flowering. She was moved into the HPS tent today.
1/9 - Day 43, she is making buds and doing great, though her main cola is so tightly stacked it looks strange. She has a pretty Christmas tree shape.
1/12 - Day 46, fed her with mid bloom nutes. Runoff numbers were 1270 ppm and pH was 5.9.
1/16 - Day 50, fed her with mid bloom nutes mixed to 1150 ppm and pH adjusted to 5.8. She has some really weird polyploid looking buds. Final runoff was 1360 ppm and pH was 5.9.
1/20 - Day 54, gave water + Hydroguard with pH set to 5.8. Final runoff was 1200 ppm and pH was 6.
1/23 - Day 57, my little polyploid! She has a skunky, citrus smell, and some goofy ass looking buds, but she's still beautiful to me. Her buds are on the smaller side, but dense nonetheless.
1/24 - Day 58, fed her with late bloom nutes, dropping FloraGro, Rapidstart, and Diamond Nectar, pH was set to 5.8. Final runoff was 1080 ppm and pH was 6.
1/28 - Day 62, fed her with late bloom nutes again. Final runoff was 1260 and pH was 5.9.
1/30 - Day 64, she is frosting up, and taking on more citrusy notes, with a skunky background. Her buds are still swelling and a few stray pistils pop here and there.
2/2 - Day 67, gave her water + Hydroguard with pH set to 5.8. Final runoff was 810 ppm and pH was 6.
2/7 - Day 72, flushed her with 8 gal of water + Florakleen at 10ml/gal. Final runoff was 112 ppm and pH was 6.1. Her buds are weird as hell, frosty, and sticky, with a skunky, citrusy, woody smell.
2/13 - Day 78, gave her water for the last time. She is flushed out, fading out, and ready to be cut in a few days. Her weird ass polyploid buds are rock hard, covered in plastic looking trichomes, and skunky to the max!
2/19 - Day 84, she got the chop today. Will have harvest and smoke report up in about 2 weeks.
This stuff is head spinning! It has more of a skunk taste and smell, I'm hoping a longer cure will bring out some of the citrus. The high creeps up and before you know it, there is a galaxy spinning behind your eyes, which never gets anxious or paranoid, and does not couchlock. Keep coming back for more of this stuff!
This girl started off life a little rough, and also seemed to have a polyploid mutation, but she pulled through it all and gave me a hair under 2.75 oz of rock hard, weird ass shaped nugs, that deliver the goods when it comes to effects. I'm literally afraid to put this into edibles. A welcome hit to my tolerance!
@Coboiii, sorry bud, don't know how I missed this comment. Yes she did recover, stayed squat, and got weird. but she smells and looks good! Sorry again for the late response!
@@Fingers, Well bro, you’re doing the same training I did with my autos between this and last year. So... that’s the same level, and same growing style! 😉
I’ll be checking them out as soon as I have some more time! Thanks for letting me discover them!
@TOTEM, probably not this one as she has had such a rough start. But i just updated some journals, A Red Poison, Californian Snow, and another GSC were just topped at the 5th, 4th, and 3rd nodes respectively. Thanks for the props, not on your level though!
