- 12l Fabric Pods - mug-sized centre filled with Canna Seedling Soil to prevent seedlings from nutrient burn of the All-Mix - Both broke through surface 3,5 days after planting - Had the 150W HortiOne 420 on 20% (30cm)

Seedlings showing slightly light green edges. Tempo is ok in my eyes. Everything normal so far. I find it difficult to find the right amount of water for small plants in such big fabric pods from the beginning.

Very Early LST as an experiment, plants took it well. Starting to get problems with fungus gnats, even though I water moderate and the surface dries to a depth of 3-4cm until I water again.

It appears that one pheno is way weaker than the other. It grows much slower and looks weak. At the beginning of the week, the slower one showed very "leathery", weak, hanging leaves of dark green. At the same time the fungus gnats had a run and the population doubled. After second LST also the stronger plant showed those signs on the younger upper leaves. Additionally they curled down a little bitte, specially the fresh leaves. My guess: As autos they react way more sensitive to the pretty nutrient-rich All-Mix. Obviously the mug-sized hole of seedling soil in the middle, where I planted the seeds, was not enough. For my understanding this looks like a moderate nitrogen toxicity, even though the leaves have no burned edges. The Special Queen 1 (photoperiodic) took the same soil very well. What do you think? As I have almost no other option, I just water with ph 6.3 until she bumps back. Any other suggestions? Against the gnats I applied a watering of Neem oil solution. I also ordered nematodes, which hopefully will arrive in two days.

Day 23: Both plants are still recovering from the strong pre-fertilization of the soil. Pheno 2, which was weak since it pierced the surface still has a very hard time. I wonder if it will recover eventually... Day 25: Pheno 1 shows first pistil hairs. Day 27: Even Pheno 1 showing curled down and dark greenish leaves, albeit nothing was fed. This strain seems to react sensitively to pre fertilized soil. Day 28 (end of week 4): Tips of every shoot showing first real signs of flowering. I will wait at least another 1,5 weeks until I will apply minimal dosages of bloom and top max. Also pheno 2 (weakling) is now showing pistils. Still it's growth is in slo-mo and looks weak.

Day 33: Pheno 1 is thriving and building many bud sites with pistil hairs. Transition from pre-flowering to flowering is taking place. Notice a heavy stretch in main shoot. Pheno 2 is still showing severe signs of overwatering and nitrogen excess, which doesn't make sense. The PH also is dialed in. It should have bounced back from the strong soil by now. I tightly monitor the watering and give it good cycles of dry and wet periods. Since this was the overall picture since week two, I start to suspect, this could be a genetic instability or damaged DNA?! It still grows and makes progress but doesn't show any signs of building bud sites. The leaves are absolutely weak, leathery and dark greenish as if it was over-fertilized.

Pheno 2: Symptoms as if overwatered and over-fertilized (N). First can't possibly be true, second neither. Neatly monitored dry and wet periods. PH dialed in. It still grows. Pheno 1 gets treated completely the same and does fine. Instability or damaged DNA? Any possibly to save?

Despite what you think, this plant is waaaaay over fed. All seeds are individuals and what may be fine for one, might not be ok for another.

Day: 36: Flushed pheno 2 with 10l of adjusted water to get rid of nitrogen toxicity. After two days it already shows signs of recovery on younger leaves. Clipped off old leaves to reduce nitrogen reservoir. On day 38 it started finally to pre flower. Almost 2 weeks later than pheno 1. Day 38: Pheno 1 looking good and building many bud sites. BUT: Spotted several yellow spots on the leaves. Could it be a lock out due to nitrogen toxicity before? I decided to started dunking the pods as I suspect that air pockets exist on the sites of the pod and the plant shows signs of excess nutrients even though the overall soil saturation is moderate. Day 42: The sporadic rust spots on older and middle aged leaves have manifested, younger leaves show resembling symptoms and seem light green. I found the courage (after nitrogen toxicity) to use fertilizer again and started carefully. After a lot (!) of research I come to the following conclusions: After overfeeding the pH in the soil was off, which can been amplified by a very fast nitrogen absorption, leaving the soil in the acidic range. Our tap water has not enough manganese. In combination with a light deficiency of phosphorus and potassium (purple stems) the plant would take light portions of CalMag and Flower nutes well. We'll see...

Several sporadic yellow spots on leaves. Lock out due to nitrogen toxicity 2 weeks before? I will dunk and flush the plant next time I'm watering. Any clues, what this could be?

Why you don't listen to RQS or many other marijuana sites.. loaded with bunk info. Best Practices • Feeding: As your plants grow bigger buds, they’ll need more nutrients. this isn't really true and explains why so many have to flush so often, lol. The concentration shouldn't need to change much because the plant will take in proportionally more water. therefore you'd be providing the same grams per week per mass of plant growth. These are rates, not counting stats They give an RH suggestion without pairing it with a temperature (VPD), which is unsophisticated. 16-17C is going to result in autumn colors within a few weeks of flower phase. That's probably not optimal for photosynthesis if it starts refelcting large ranges of red and blue wavelengths. The colors you see are not absorbed by the plant being the underlying reason why this is unlikely a good thing. their ratios arent' too far off surprisingly, but i wouldn't buy into any drastic shifts. numerous studies show these ideas of bombing p or k in flower doesn't actually result in more plant mass nor higher potency. it does show excess fertilizer in runoff which isn't great for the environment or your local water system if you have one. Just self-fellating madness to feel like peopel are doing somethign profound, when the plant does 99% of the work.

I agree with others. Give it the right NPK. something like 4-6-8 and confirm its got a good ammount of secondary macros, eg Mg, S, Ca, It looks like it could use some more Ca and Mg by the looks of it. Good Luck!

What are you feeding? Did you switch nutrition to support blooming? Maybe this helps a bit: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/content/46-the-blooming-phase#best-practices

Sorry Guys, I was very busy and skipped three weeks. Hope the photos make up for it :-) This plant turned out pretty amazing! Smell: Incredible! Freshly picked and cut strawberries, a little blueberry and citrus I love the autumn colors. I never saw those on the other phenos. The pant did very well but I'm sure the excessive LST caused the diminished grow, although bud to height ratio is amazing! I can't wait to harvest and process the beauty. Enjoy!

Uff! After 12 weeks and 24 hours darkness I chopped her. Almost too late as the ratio of amber trichomes was quite high. Nevertheless in the last days she almost exploded and foxtailed a bit. Incredible plant through and through! The aroma of the test bud I harvested 3 weeks ago didn’t change much and obviously it was already super potent back then
