BudBeat Nothing exciting here either… There is enough water available to provide for it. Just watch 👀 and wait until she's ready for LST 😉

BudBeat The Deadryder is already growing splendidly! Starting this week, I will begin with LST to make the lady bushier. Wish me luck ✌️

BudBeat And another week has passed. The Deadryder has decided to transition into the flowering phase already 😁 She was the last to release her nut and is the first to go into flowering 🤔 But whatever… as long as she's healthy. She's stretching nicely and isn't staying small and bushy. You can see her flower clusters beautifully. Just wonderful.
Aside from that one Twoface leaf, she's growing very robustly. Let's see when the stretch phase ends 😉
I'll keep you updated. See you soon 🤟

BudBeat The Deadryder has started the flowering phase early! Was that intentional? It seems to me that due to the short vegetative phase, it couldn't really build up much leaf mass. It looks more like a bare Christmas tree 😜. The buds are also developing quickly and are even starting to get a bit purple. Well, I'm really curious to see how this turns out!

BudBeat New week with my Christmas tree 😆 She's producing beautiful purple buds. With the few leaves, she can focus on the flowers. So there's not much to remove in the lower area. Her trichome production is already picking up!
Update 17.7. The fruit nodes are getting fatter and fatter. That's already promising good things… muhaha 😄

BudBeat The Deadryder has finished its stretch and is now fully focused on the flowers. As can be seen, its purple content is very high. The terpene profile is so far rather sour/bitter. I'm curious to see how the smell will change or if it will stay the same. It remains exciting and flower-rich ✌️

BudBeat The buds of the Deadryder are continuing to develop. The ripening of the hairs is getting stronger now, and unfortunately, the smell remains in the sour range. It's not bad, but it's not really to my taste. Maybe the nutrient level is too high? Because the leaves are turning brown at the tips! Next time I water, I'll only add 50% of the nutrients and set the pH to 6.5. Maybe the situation will improve? Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Cheers ✌️

BudBeat Now I come to my problem child… Nothing is really going according to plan here 😩. The buds are getting more purple, but the smell is very chemical/lemony! Probably all due to the early flowering phase. But also because of my virgin experience with autoflower seeds! The Deadryder definitely doesn't handle much fertilizer, and half the amount would have been more than enough. I did water with fertilizer again, but next time I'll just water with plain water. Because the flowers will be done soon. In the end, I'll process the plant into bubble hash and see what kind of yield I get. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Cheers ✌️

BudBeat Last week started and I'm only watering with purified water now. I also add CalMag to the water. She seems to handle it quite well and her scent profile is changing! I didn't expect that, but the chemical part is fading a bit. I think that's really great 😊.

BudBeat So guys…
Finally, the time has come! The Deadryder needs to be harvested and it's showing a true display of colors as we approach harvest time. Its scent profile isn’t so chemical anymore… But I can’t really define it either 🤨. I also suspect that the Deadryder does better with rather little nutrients throughout the entire grow.
Its growth behavior has remained small throughout the grow. Since it decided to go into flowering very early, I was a bit overwhelmed at first. But for being one of my first autoflowers, I’m quite satisfied.
Updates will follow, of course
Cheers ✌️
