Hello Growers out there,
first time grower here from Germany.
After years of being restricted by the cannabis prohibition law and having suffered some police consequences from my cannabis use, the time has finally come. I am allowed to grow my own cannabis!
I am super excited to finally be able to gain this experience.
After an poor attempt on the windowsill and extremely long delivery times for seeds due to legalization, I decided on Biscotti Mintz clones from Barneys Farm.
At the beginning of my grow I used a rental lamp (Fluxshield Babo 150W) from crescience, in the second week I switched to a 320W custom made lamp.
As I am a complete neewbie, I would appreciate any suggestions, tips and advice

Happy Growing everyone!
After i was a little too caring at the beginning and i was a little worried about the rather low humidity in the small pots, i made my first mistake.
I bought a humidifier and set it so that the humidity is around 50%, but I didn't realize that the humidity is much higher when the light is off. As a result, the humidifier ran permanently (no automatic control) and raised the humidity in the tent to 99% while the exhaust air was switched off (from now on the exhaust air will run at a minimum of 20%) :D
The tent was completely under water and i was glad that my apartment didn't burn down.
But learning by doing ... i guess ...
However, everything was less bad than it looked at the beginning. I repotted from the small pots into 23l and within 1-2 days there was already an improvement.
From now on, I try to water only half a liter of water per pot every 3-4 days and otherwise leave the plants alone (apart from sitting next to the tent on the floor, watching them grow) :D
The one plant that is in the smaller pot i want to tie down to try a little with LST.
Just excited seeing them grow in height and recovering from repotting and high humidity.
Part 1 (Beginning of week 7):
The last few days in the 23l pots have been very good for the plants. They have grown up to 4-5cm a day and have recovered amazing from my fail with the humidifier. I have slowly turned up the 320W lamp from 5-10% to about 20%, my temperature is between 24 and 28 degrees while the humidity is somewhere between 45% and 55%. Next time I water, I will give a little more than 500ml per pot. Fertilizer is set out for about one more week after the plagron all mix has been well pre-fertilized.
I'm also planning to switch to 12/12 tomorrow (beginning of week 7) and before that I used LST on two of them. I used simple wire from the DIY store and lightly "pre-massaged" the stems of the two plants I wanted to tie down so that they wouldn't break off. at first I tried to wrap the wire around the stem, which didn't work out so well, so I just made a small gate which worked really well.
I then moved the two tied-down plants and pot a little closer to the light and to the same height as the others. and now I'm really excited to see how the difference will be noticeable (and whether I'll have any space problems) :D
Part 2 (End of week 7):
As I switched lights to 12/12 the progress is just amazing. The stretch looks healthy, the leaves have turned a juicy green and the plants have grown a strong stem and beautiful side branches.
At the beginning of the week I was struggling a bit with the temperature, probably because my growbox is located in a very small room which heats up quite a lot. I realigned the fans and adjusted the openings on the sides, which helped a bit. What helped the most, however, was hanging the exhaust hose as far out of the window as possible and leaving the window open 24/7. This allowed me to keep the temperature below 30 degrees.
Even if I'm not quite sure what I'm doing, the plants take the LST well. One of them has developed two beautiful branches which I have tied down.
Besides that... I am having so much fun watching the daily progress and I am excited to see what week 8 will bring.
Cheers
Part 1 (Beginning of week 8):
The first LST attempts were a bit clumsy at first... Mainly because I didn't realize how much the girls would speed up in the first few days of 12/12.
Potting the LST plants to the outer edge of the pot when repotting would have helped to give the bent main stem more space/light. Instead, I had little room to maneuver after the first training, which resulted in the strange semicircle.
Nevertheless, the plants are taking to it well and after a few days of growth and research it at least feels like I know what I'm doing.
There is little to report on the two untreated plants, approx. 10-12cm growth in 5 days, 1-2 unnecessary leaves removed... Everything is fine
At the end of this week I will fertilize carefully for the first time (approx. 2ml Alga Grow per liter)
Part 2 (End of week 8):
In one word: Progress!
The plants have continued to stretch over the last few days and the development is beautiful.
I installed the Scrog net in the middle of the week, although I realized that I could have started a little earlier.
The stems are slowly getting stronger and stronger, so I want to stop the LST at the latest when flowering starts in the next few days. But since I only wanted to try my hand with the net and it was still not too late, I was able to show the plants the way and encourage growth in some places.
At this point, however, I realized how much I enjoy playing with the net and how easy it is to handle. I'll definitely just grow 2 or 3 plants in my next run, top them and try to get an even screen of green.
Towards the end of the 8th week, I added 2 ml Plagron Grow to 1 liter of water. Let's see what that will bring.
Otherwise, the first signs of flowering are slowly peeking through, so I won't be making any more major changes and will just help the plants to make their way through the net.
Part 1 (Beginning of week 9):
I started to add a bit more fertilizer (2.5 ml Alga Grow on 1l).
I realized that i ordered way too much of Alga Grow (1L) after i only watered twice with this fertilizer and will switch to alga bloom in the next step.
Plants are doing very well, flower is kicking in beautifully and the stem is getting stronger day by day.
With help of the net, I try to give the side branches more light and guide them upwards.
I am absolutely stocked how well Plant 4 is doing with my first LST attempts. It is clear to see that the plant receives light more evenly and therefore has a nice surface with more buds then the others (at least for the moment).
Hope the differences in height of the plants won't cause me any problems later, even if the plants are still growing fairly even.
Over the next few days i'll be thinking about the right time for lollipopping and possibly removing a few fan leaves by the end of this week.
Besides that, i am just enjoying the development and the slowly developing smell.
Part 2 (End of week 9):
Plants are looking good, still growing quite strong and getting more and more flower and smell.
Did some careful lollipopping, mostly below the net and some big fan leaves.
In terms of water and fertilizer the plants are becoming clearly more thirsty and hungry so I had to water a little more often.
Looking forward too see how they grow in height over the next days and how the flower is developing.
Part 1 (Beginning of week 10):
I switched fertilizer from Alga Grow to Alga Bloom (4ml/l) and also went up with the amount of water (about 1,3l every 2 days).
Some fan leaves are regularly removed, but always careful and not too much.
But the flower is getting very beautiful.
I also regularly try to give the buds some direction and guide them through the net so that the light reaches them evenly.
The current phase is not too exciting at the moment, nevertheless, i enjoy the growth and the ever-increasing smell.
Part 2 (End of week 10):
This part of the week was still quite calm.
Didn't do too much, the growth in height wasn't very big but the buds are developing nice.
Besides that i dried em out for about 4-5 days (that's why they look a bit sad in the pictures) before i gave them green sensation fertilizer for the first time additionally to the previous used Alga Bloom.
Quite curious how the buds react to the dry phase and the green sensation.
