Oyziphar After a few months of absence, I am happy to see you all again and to be able to practice and share my favorite hobby with you.
I made a choice of 6 beautiful varieties from the magnificent catalog of Royal Queen Seeds.
My selection is based on species that are about the same in size and flowering time.
I make a separate diary for each variety.
1. Royal Cookies: I had already bred twice before. It remains one of my top favorites.
2. Royal Gorilla: I have bred last time, and is also recommended.
3. Special Queen: once bred with fantastic results. Moreover, I have also seen this species in two other growers, both indoor and outdoor. An immense plant. Respect!
Since my last grow, RQS has added a lot of new varieties, which is why these news:
4. Purple Queen: Purples used to be not so good. But the new generation of purples is fantastic. It is now winter where I live, so during the last 1-2 weeks of cold nights the beautiful purple hues will be able to fully develop again.
5. Green Gelato: Have heard a lot about Gelato, but have never been able to enjoy it. I'm going to change that!
6. Fat Banana: I can not imagine anything, but the name sounds wise. The expectations are therefore high.
Oyziphar DAY 16 First time Topping
DAY 17 Repotting from 0.5 l. (BioBizz light-mix) to 3.5 l (Canna Terra grow +)
The plants show a slight shortage of nutrients 😏, but by potting them to the new nutrient-rich cultivation soil, the shortage will soon be solved 👍

Oyziphar DAY 12 ; Defoliatioin of the plants for the last time and stretching a net to support the colas.
The plants have slender sativa-like leaves, which give a lot of light to the plants and allow them to wear several collas without overshadowing each other.
DAY 16 : Because of the net, I can no longer photograph the plants in front profile, and that is why I now take photos from the top. Only from plant #1 and #4 I could take some pictures in front profile because they stand on the outside of the garden.
Still no liquid nutrients, only root stimulator. Vertafort and Biotabs do the job fine (for quantities see week 5).
Plants are very healthy. No signs of shortages, no problems with too much nutrition.
Special Queen #1 = 72 cm ; 6 colas
Special Queen #2 = 68 cm ; 4 colas
Special Queen #3 = 82 cm ; 5 colas
Special Queen #4 = 84 cm ; 6 colas

Oyziphar The growth has decreased significantly, but the flowering is enormous. Beautiful flower / leaf ratio, making it easy for the light to reach the lower buds.
I have successfully grown Special Queen # 1 in the open air and she also does a fantastic job there.
Special Queen # 1 quickly sets the bloom fiercely - thanks to her Indica genes - and grows incredible - thanks to her sativa genes. The plants are fairly homogeneous. Some have a bit more leaves than the others, and also the height of the plants varies.
The plants do not show any nutritional deficiency, but they have been in the same soil for several weeks, and I've decided to feed them a bit with a fourth dose of Alga Bloom, half a dose of Green Sensation and half a dose of Sugar Royal.
plant n°1 : 76 cm - beautiful plant with relatively much leaf compared to the other plants, not so many trichomes yet
plant n°2 : 73 cm - smallest plant with the most leaves, not so many trichomes yet
plant n°3 : 88 cm - very good flower/leaves ratio, already powdered with a lot of trichomes
plant n°4 : 88 cm -very good flower/leaves ratio, not so many trichomes yet
plant n°5 : 81 cm - very good flower/leaves ratio, already powdered a lot of trichomes

Oyziphar What a strain still! 😻A classic. TOP-skunk. 👺 The typical smell (which I associate with Cypress Hill, probably because of the smell of that period +/- 1995). "Odor asssociates with time") 😵.
The Queens are doing fine. 😛
Only plant n ° 1 shows brown rusty spots on the leaf. 😰 Because I suspect it is a magnesium / calcium deficiency, I gave her a boost. 💪
I didn't have pure magnesium/calcium, I used BioFinale PK which has extra mag/cal. 👏
Many buds, few leaves. Hybrid /best of both worlds.

Oyziphar In the beginning all the plants looked alike, but now the mutual differences are becoming more and more visible.
All plants are getting ready for the last flowering phase. The buds become increasingly solid, the fan leaves become more yellow and the plants also have less need for water.
Plant 1 , and to a lesser extent plant 2, have small brown rust spots, the other plants do not suffer from this. A lot of fan leaves that are turning yellow now. However, I give them the maximum dose of the liquid food supplements.
Plants 3 and 5 still keep their leaves nicely green.
Plants 4 has some yellowish leaves with brown tips.

Oyziphar Special queen is an early, efficient plant (excellent leaf / top ratio). 👌👌👌
All plants are very similar. The length varies, but they are all hybrid skunk plants, so no pointed sativas or short indica's.😊
Because I also have some purple varieties, I now switch to a system with cold nights of 10 ° C.😖💤😱
DAY 44 : pictures 😎
DAY 39 & 43 & 47 : Defoliation yellow fan leaves
DAY 47 : start flushing , no liquid nuts anymore
Plant 1 is a beauty. An early bloomer, beautiful buds, little leaves.
Plant 2 is a bit of an outsider. She started a little later and slower at the flowering period.
Plant 3 : unfortunately no photos this week.
Plant 4 : Again a top plant ! Nice long colas.
Plant 5 : superfrosty, probaly not a great yielder, but more quality than quantity !

Oyziphar Best classic strain. Yield between 50 - 65 gr / plant. Beautiful bud. Great skunk smell. Strong. High in the Head and Body relaxing. Top strain !
@CommanderCannabis, 2 or 3 weeks to chop them down 👇
They are nog entering the last phase: 'The densing of the buds'. Some are all ready rock hard already, some are still a bit fluffy.
Giving them the perfect feeding is becoming hard now.👻
I'm starting final defoliation to get essential light to the lower buds 👹😤😻
