Welcome back Folks - One month ago I tried to grow some Zkittles but she dies young. One of my mantra is : Never give up , so I'm going to apply that mantra today and re-start a grow - The seedling is nearly ready to go in a pot , just the shell needs to fall and it will be all right- I keep the old grow pictures and comment to show my failure to the world ( or at least to you who is reading that line right now ) 😁✌️🏼
Day 0 - 10.01 - I'm back baby 🦎

Day 7 - 17.01 Nothing much to report , she is doing her 2nd set of leaves.
I gave her just a bit of water this morning and no nutrients until flowering as I bet on multiple transplant to bring nutrients.

[EDIT] She fried - I don't know if it is a heat stress or an over feeding due to the soil that had been enriched with Guano. I will try again next year in the same diary - Thank you for following guys 😁✌️🏼
Dqay 2 - 09.12 - It's hard to heal from the growing fever so I don't even try to fight the disease 😂. So here we are again with a Zkittles auto , and once again it's a fast buds strain.
I wanted to try this strain to understand why so many people are growing it 😁✌️🏼
After 12h in a glass of water the root was already out of the shell then 2 days after she looked like what you can see in the 1st pictures.

Day 4 - After a little light issue ( plug off by mistake) the girl is now kooky stretchy. I put her outside a couple hour today and she get back in the 60×60 tent under a 110w neon light for more blue light.
Day 10 - 20.01 -The girl is doing good , she is looking healthy with a nice colour an shape.
She as been transplanted into a 3L pot on the 22.01 to give more space to the roots before the last reporting in 7 or 10L pot depending on my mood.
No particular feeding but the soil is my super charged soil from the run#5 so she will only need water during next weeks.

Day 14 - 24.01 - Since she has been transplanted into a 3L pot she is doing better , the soil is a super charged one so no need to use any nutrients until flowering
Day 15 - 25.01 - As you can see on the pictures the girl is super healthy , she is already starting to push secondaries.
The colour is a perfect green , not too dark and not too pale neither 😄
She get transplanted into a 3L pot with a fresh enriched soil and she seems to enjoy it 😁👍

Day 20 - 30.01 - The girl is super healthy , I transplanted her into a 7L pot and she seems to appreciate the new space.
I've put her outside for a couple hours and she get slightly burnt but nothing that could harm the grow.
She will move to another tent under led light for the last part of her indoor grow , I will wait for the 2st roots to hit the pot and then I will transplant her into the final 10L pot 😁👍
Just to compare , I let a Girl Scout Cookies from autoseeds outside during a couple hours too and she did not resist like the Zkittles , the 2 first set of leaves are burnt on that one 😜
Day 23 - Zkittles is doing good But she is starting her 4th week and even if she have a solid shape she remains short 😐 however the secondaries are starting to grow taller.
She has been transplanted into a 7L pot last week but today the roots are already hitting the bottom of the pot so no time to loose before the next transplant.
I'm wondering if I am going to top her or not , if I do it now then I'm scared to stress her because I also need to transplant her into the final 10L pot and I also have not enough space to keep her in the tent after the transplant so she will probably have a transplant stress + The topping stress + The new environment and light schedule stress ( because when I put them outside they automatically get a 12/12 schedule or close ) ...
No feeding in vegetative stage , she just get transplanted with a fresh pre fertilized soil ( heavily pre fertilized)
Day 29 - Week 5 is starting and the Zkittles is growing normally in her 10L pot.
She did not get watered since the reporting because I had fairly watered the soil so I an now waiting for it to be dry before the next watering/feeding.
Today I checked her height and she's 30cm tall , the stretch does not seems to have stated yet but I could be wrong. I can expect ( I hope )The stretch to be ×2 or ×2.5 with a final height around 60cm for the less optimistic prognostic and 80cm in the best case.

Day 36 :
Reported last week into the 10L final pot she is doing well and seems to have started her vertical growth and since the 1st pistils are appearing on the top stems I can say tjat she is in pre flowering.
I am crossing all my fingers to get a massive stretch and I am also starting to give her nutrients to fulfill her stretch needs : Ec 1.40 with hybrids powder and calcium and 6.4 ph

Day 40 - 59 cm and she is gaining height every days , the flowering has started so I will begin to manage my feeding
She has been feed with a mix of greenhouse.
Day 44 - And the full flowering mode is on 😁 The girl is making pistils on every single bud sites and she seems to have slow down on the vertical growth 😢 I would love to have a bigger plant like my Lemon Ak but my soil mix wasn't the best to grow properly and I figured it out too late to proceed to a last transplant 😒
BTW today I did not check the temps and RH as usual , I asked Siri 🤔
Anyway despite of my mistakes she is a beautiful plant , strong , with a nice sized trunk 🙄 and a nice healthy green colour.
I am curious to know how this little cute lady will do during the flowering 🤗

Day 47 - She's still doing great and it seems like she is still stretching a not which is a good news for me , the gain was 6 cm since last week
Was feed today with the same 1.66 feeding with hybrids powder and calcium ; soon the booster will follow
Day 53 - 04.03 - This strains is packing nugs , she is fast and quick to flowet so the feeding should follow and that is why I will start with the pk boost this week.
Day 61 - 12.03 - Between last week and this week I did not feed her until today and I gave her 1 tea spoon of Mr.B's Bloom direct into the soil because she was the only one that needed to be feed so I preferred to dry feed instead if mixing nuts with water AND also because I did water the plant with plain water just before the feeding so the dry nuts was the best solution.
The plant is not fully healthy, I can spot a calcium deficiency by the colours between the veins of the leaves and the green colour is getting lighter which mean that she needs extra N , I hope the last feeding will help with that but the plan is to get to 1.8/1.9 Ec by the end of the week.
The weather is sunny , hot and drier than usual , it's a total switch since the big rain from 2 weeks ago.
The plant is looking like a big one bud , I mean the side branches aren't tall , they get stick to the main stem but the buds ste swelling like golf balls , each of them are solid as a rock and shining like a startlight 🤩💪
The smell is sweet and kushy but not close from the candy smell I was painting in my head 🤗 maybe I have too much imagination.
Day 69 - 20.03 - It's technically still night 68 but hey it's just a couples hours so no big deal.
This Zkittlez is clearly a short flowering strain according to my standards , if you don't know how I'm growing then keep in mind that I'm flowering my autos under a 12/12 light schedule which have 2 sides effects : 1st the flowering is longer & 2nd the yield is lower then under a 18/6 light schedule.
This strain is also capable of a high nutrients absorption and fast , I did not really watered her with clear water since the beginning of flowering.
The buds are now hard like rocks and the trichomes production is more than descent but way under the Lemon Ak ( phenomenal ). The smell is good and ... mysterious to me , I need to dig deeper to find something to compare it to.
Despite of my high nutrients input , she is now naturally yellowing which mean that the hearbest should come soon . When I checked the trichomes ration it was around 90% cloudy , 2 more weeks is what she need before harvest so the flush is coming soon
This is the 1st time that I am consciously taking the decision to cut with a 100% cloudy ratio. I am the kind of smoker who is searching for a narcotic effect , a small or a big one but it is time so change ( and I have enough night time weeds for a long time so I'm focusing on some daytime effect to be able to continue to be an useful member in that society 🤣🤣😋 useful to me at least )
If you keep in mind that I am flowering my autos under a 12/12 light schedule , it is the quickest strain I ever grew which makes me think that it could be a perfect strain for Outdoor Summer Growers as it could provide you up to 3 crop in a single summer ( more if you are organised )
I will document the grow and the smoke test when the weed will be dry.
Ok the smoke test did operate a big split between my friends.
On my Right : The fruity gang ! 2 of my friends told me that that weed is a fruity weed but wasn't able to clearly tell which fruit it was reminding them of.
On my left : The berry gang. 2 other friends told me that it was clearly a berry weed with a "skittle" aftertaste
My side: It's a grapefruit taste !! I can't taste anything but grapefruits here , the aftertaste is the same as the taste be less loud. It's a mix between a natural aroma and an industrial one so let's say that the taste is a bit "chemical". I am not really searching for that kind of taste but I'm always happy to have a weed tasting like that.
The effect is a motivating one, it's weir because I feel like an energetic stone each time I'm smoking on a fatty 🤔 , my eyes are heavy but I don't wanna sleep. I think that this weed is relaxing the body while it is motivating the mind.
