I got a feebie and I'm gonna see what happens. Haven't tried Fast Buds yet but a fiend is growing some Gorilla Punch and Gorilla Cookies and they look nice. Hoping for purple buds.
This was going to be an outside grow. Unfortunately it's been in the mid 90's with a heat index over 100 degrees. I decided to put up my 4x4 tent to keep it in a temperature controlled environment.
I started LST today. So far just water at 6.5ph. Light schedule is 18/6 and using the sunrise/sunset option on my light at 4hrs. Today Is also the first day I put water in the AC Infinity self watering bases.
This week I watered at 6.5 ph . Did a little trimming of fan leaves. I'll be doing more trimm8 g over the next few days. The Nature's Living Soil additive really makes this easy. So far.so good.
This week I noticed some fungus knats in my other tent. I put some yellow sticky pads in the 4x4 and coated the soil with DE. I did catch a couple knats on the sticky pads but I haven't seen any in a few days. I only added 6.0 ph water and silica to the water bases. Didn't top feed or top water at all. I chopped down the cover crop as it was getting too tall and needed to dust the pots with DE. I did some defoliation of the lower part of the plant. I noticed my hands smelled.like grape bubble gum after the trim. The smell is fantastic. It smells like bubblegum, grape, and fuel. Wow!
This week, I had an issue with one of the other plants in the tent. I had let the soil get completely dry because of the fugus knat issue. I put water in the self watering base but nothing on top to keep it dry. The plants didnt look too good so i decided to top dressed Gaia Green 2-8-4. Watered with 6.0ph water and topped off the self watering base. I added beneficial nematodes to make sure i keep the knats at bay. I havent spotted any new flies and no more stuck to the stickies. All the plants are looking better now. The LSD25 really didnt show any signs of stress at all and took the extended dry period very well. It seems like its the hardiest plant i have going so far. Im very impressed with how tough she is.
This week i top dressed Power Bloom with 6.2ph water. Filled the wicking base with 6.0ph water. Lowered temperature and humidity. Humidity is set by the VPD setting on my AC Infinity Controller 69.
This week I watered 2 times. Half gallon of 6.2 ph water each time. She looks ready to harvest now but Im waiting until the weekend. She smells really nice and looks good. Maybe Ill wait another week.
I had an issue with my ph pen. I calibrated it several times and ph was still way off. I purchased a new pen and my soil ph was too high. I had a lock out issue. I stopped watering and going to harvest in 48hrs. This LSD25 plant is tough as nails. The ph issue didnt harm it much at all.
I had bugs, ph issues, had a medical issue and didn't water for a week... this plant didn't care at all. The buds aren't rock hard but the smell is intoxicating. Can't wait to cure this thing.
This was a freebie I got from a promo on Seedsman website. Thank you Fast Buds and thank you Seedsman. I really like the LSD-25 and will grow it again.
Smoke report:
This is now my favorite daytime smoke. I definitely find this very relaxing but doesnt pin you to the couch. You can go about your day very relaxed and happy. This is great for anxiety. Had no heart racing at all. Its great for depression . I felt so good, I wanted to get off the couch and go do something. I would recommend this to people with anxiety and depression 100%. Or if you just want to feel good and go about your day doing your favorite activities. I will definitely grow again and again
