BC Early Blueberry from Next Generation Seeds, grow diaries doesn't have this breeder listed so I picked Custom Breeder. Don't know anyone who has grown it or anyone who has grown Next Generation Seeds so it'll be something to discover.
It's cool in the fall and the humidity is down. Growing much slower then our first girls, I think it's mainly to do with the lower temps and the lower humidity levels.
Still small but picking up growing better now. Putting a plastic bottle over top really helps the humidity and temp of the little girl. Need to remember to do that.
Thin branches and very leggy, this girl is by far the fastest grower of the 4 right now. She has lots of stretch but she is also the dainty one of the group.
She is now in there forever pot. and got a major haircut. She like to grow so fast and very thin. I'm probably going to need to scrog her as I don't know if she will be able to support her cola's on her own.
Still stretching like mad. Makes all my Bubba Kush and Sour Jack from Crop King Seeds look like a joke next to them. Last week for the blurple lights on her, next week she changes over to the quantum lights.
Under the quantum lights from now on. Giving her a flush this week as the promix soil is a little hot to start with. She's leggy as always and is doing very well.
All the first got moved back out into the grow room. We did some major updates, added more power, added a insulated subfloor and a vinyl floor on top, cleaned it out/wiped it down to kill grow 1's bud rot spores, upgraded some ventilation, and installed dripper lines again. This should help to make this grow better, the rooms temp is more stable now and its easier/better to work in.
We fed rain water this past week and we got some nute deficiencies showing up. So we picked up some Micro nutes and added it to the mix. The girls are looking happier now, I fear that she will grow even faster now :)
This BC Early Blueberry from Next Generation Seeds is such a fast grower. It feels like you can sit and watch her grow. Really excited to see our she produces.
Gonna start by saying this girl smells Awesome! She is a monster, loves growing big with a million little branches. This thing needs to be entered into a speed growing contest.
Next week she goes to flower.
Flowering!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaa...... So excited for flowering.
Did a trim of the her several times over the week. Some trims were to remove the lower branch/bud sites, others were to thing the fan leaves so air movement and get through her easier, and others were to hack her the fuck back as she is taking over the entire tent, especially the area above the little bubba Kush.
She's a BEAST!!!! Lover her, she makes growing an olympic event. She like to grow and I love to watch her.
Added Bud Candy to the list of nutes for this grow, trying it out now that it's our 2nd grow and we have a bunch of the basic stuff worked out.
Cranked the dehumidifier up, the room is staying around the 30-35% mark and the inside the tent it's holding around the 40% RH mark. New power lines in means that we shouldn't have any power outages this time.
She is THIRSTY!!!! Drinking the most of any of the girls right now. I was doing my water feed every other day with 6L water and 6L feed at 1000ppm, 12 L total and getting very little to no runoff out of her. So I've now upped the schedule to 6L water and 9L feed at 1000ppm = 15L total (every other day) and I'm getting about 1L out of her for run off. Never have I watered/fed so much and gotten so little out of a girl.
Feeding at 1000ppm and the PH around 6.2, the run off is coming at 580ppm at 6.5ph, so she's eating well and there doesn't appear to be any salt buildup.
I'm continuing with the Micro nutes, she seems to like it and I don't see a glaring reason why I should remove it now. Our water tests at 18-25 ppm from the tap and we use rain water when we can. I think the Micro nutes has helped this grow be more successful.
Started adding some Kool Bloom to the mix and upped the amount of Bud Candy.
She's had constant trimming and LST training as her personal goal is tent domination and I need to keep her in check.
I'm being vigilant about chopping lower buds that aren't getting any light, and taking out the lower leaves under the canopy to help ensure good airflow all around.
Added a 3rd fan to the tent at the back in-between the BlueBerry and Island Sweet Skunk plants. Pointed it up and put it on rotate so that the get some good airflow at the back up through the canopy.
Gave her a mini-flush on F12 followed up with a heavy feed. Run off was a little high at 800ppm this week, the previous several weeks the run off was down in the 500-600ppm. So I thought now would be a good time to get a reset into the system and just make sure there are no salt issues before we hit the prime bloom period.
I think the stretch is finally slowing/stopping. Only my 2nd grow and this is the first time I've had to deal with a girl that liked to stretch A LOT!! But it's been managed, the branches criss cross each other like some sort fo sadistic hi-way system.
She is suppose to have a short flowering time of 55 days, shortest of the 4 I'm growing right now. Her buds are by far the most developed of the 4 with the Island Sweet Skunk right behind her. She baffles me how she can make 3+ times more branches/length then the other girls and yet have the most developed buds.
She likes to feed, hungry girls is getting 6L water and 6l feed at 1,000ppm every other day. Her run off is down in the 500-600 range and she doesn't have a lot of run off. Sometimes I add an extra 1.5L of water to get a bit more run off.
Pictures really don't do this beautiful girl justice.
Got the lights maxed out at 240w, was a little concerned about the buds that were taller getting burnt, but she is just loving these quantum LED's, they just don't make much heat and she is happy to try and touch the sun.
So far everything seems great and she is on full turbo mode. Fingers crossed this continues all the way into harvest.
She's a blueberry MONSTER!!!!
Day 28 of a 55 day grow (according to the breeder). If the 55 days turns out to be true that means we are exactly at the 1/2 way point. 27 gone and 27 more days to go.
She likes her food and likes her water. The stretch on the branches has stopped and the buds are fattening up and the frostiness is everywhere. I'm very happy the stretching has stopped, I couldn't handle much more stretching in the tent without having to do some reworking. I can see how you can easily get into trouble when a girl stretches more then you expected. Luckily I kept tying her down as she grew and I just barely made it.
The branches have beefed up a lot over the past couple weeks, I was very concerned she wouldn't be able to support her cola's but now I think that she might be able to. I'm not going to scrog her but I did order some bamboo stakes from my uncle Amazon so that I can tie to them for support if I end up needing a bra for some of her buds.
No sign of any purple yet and she doesn't smell like blueberries yet either. But she's only 1/2 way to the finish line right now.

So Ms. Virgin Blueberry and Ms. Innocence Sweet Skunk have been growing big, strong, and flaunting their stuff. Showing off all their Buds and ruling the tent like the diva’s they are. It came to the point where I was very concerned about how the cola’s were a snuggled together. So I decided that either they needed a culling of buds from Thanos or they needed some more room to spread their wings. I have a 2x4 tent across the room that was vacant so I figured that their step sisters (Sour Jack and Bubba Kush) could move out and the 2 girls could have some room to let their hair down. That happened on F31 and I spent a bunch of fixing the girls hair so it got a nice spread and their Buds stopped touching.
Ms. Blueberry has really taken advantage of all the new space around her. It took a several days to get her trained into her new position, but now I have her stretched more or less into position and some bamboo stakes to help support her. I’m sure I’ll be doing slight adjustments every couple days over the next week or two. In a lot of ways I’m regretting not scroging her, BUT if I did scrog her I would have had to cut her out at this point to mover her into the new position anyways. So I guess it’s all working out anyways.
We are now at F35 of an estimated F55 (if you believe the breeder), that means I could be harvesting in just 20 days. Seems a bit fast to me but I’ll see what she says and how the tri-combs’ look as we get closer.
I did a mini flush on her at F35, I preformed one 3 weeks earlier. Just wanted to make sure she wasn’t getting any salt build up and that everything in the soil was fine. It only took 21L and she was +/- 300ppm right from the start of the dripping. I followed it up with a 975ppm feeding immediately to make sure she had the nutrients that she needed to power through. I’m going to start cutting back a bit on the nutrients next week as she heads into her final few weeks (fingers crossed).
A bit of fox-tailing appears to be starting on her, but all the breeders pictures of her buds had fox-tails so I think this is probably normal for the strain. I adjusted the air flow so it should help keep the tent a little cooler to try and minimize the fox-tailing.
First off all these pictures are of the same blueberry plant. In some pictures the purple "hue" is visible in the picture in others it just looks green. The camera is sometimes picking up the colour temperature of the purple and other times it's picking up more of a green/yellow. In real life the purple is visible but it's probably not as accented as it is in some of the purple pictures.
Was away for the last 4 days of this week on a work trip. My S/O did a good job of takin care of the girls. Only have pictures from F39 as I left right after that and didn’t get back into town until flower W7 F44.
Dropped Diamond Nectar from the nutes schedule.
Buds are getting bigger and heavier. Have to prop up some of the branches with bamboo sticks due to a lack of scrog. Was thinking about making a scrog in place with the bamboo sticks but it hasn’t happened yet, and at this point we look to be only 3 weeks from harvest and with me being away not sure it’s that useful for ~10 days.
The extra room to spread her out really is helping as the buds are developing and getting fatter, definitely was a good move to reduce the crowding.
Took some close up shots with he microscope and the tricombs are starting to cloud in. I can’t believe that it’s ripening this fast, only a few odd amber tricombs so I’ll keep an eye on that as I’d like more. Big girl, fast girl, makes me wonder what the down side of her is because right now she’s coming up aces in all categories.
Runoff PH and PPM’s went up a bit while I was away. Will try and address that when I get home.
Not much more to say other then I’m excited to get home and check the girls out. Expecting them to shock and awe me as I haven’t seen them for 5 days.
Ms Blueberry is a PHAT ass sexy bitch. The smell in the tent is amazing. She buds just keep getting bigger fatter every day. Purple is coming in, but it’s still not as intense as the pictures from the breeder. Supported some more branches with bamboo sticks and ties.
The nutes have now been reduced, feeding around the 550 ppm range this week and next week it will just be water to give her a week to flush/use her nutes up.
The microscope shots show we look to be around 90+% cloudy on the tricombs with ~5% clear and ~2-5+% amber. Would like to have some more amber tricombs in the mix and hopefully the next 6 days with only water will help give us that. End of next week might be harvest but we’ll have to see what the tricombs look like, might extend it out longer if we don’t seem something in the 10% amber range.
So excited, we are betting on what the dry Oz we got harvest are, right now I’m guessing 20 oz (I admit it’s being super optimistic), G is guessing (17 oz), and D is Guessing (14 oz). Anyone else venture a guess?
Just to be clear, this isn’t a “custom breeder” the breeder is Next Generation Seed company, they just aren’t listed here so I could only pick custom breeder. But I feel like that make it sound like my seeds when they aren’t.
Day 55, only my 2nd grow but it seems so weird to be harvesting at day 55. Ms. Blueberry has been a dream to grow so far. The stretch she had the first 3 weeks of flowering was a little challenging, but she hit everything out of the park… did everything 110%, so why would I expect anything different with her stretch.
She’s been just getting PH corrected water this past week. First feeding of water had a run of only 150 ppm, she really liked to eat and would chow down every chance she got. The last watering her run off was at 80 ppm, so there isn’t much of anything in the HP/CC soil mix. The leaves have really show signs fo deficiencies now and the tricombs are ambling in well. Almost none of the tricombs have any glass to them, everything is cloudy and a decent amount of amber is present.
We have left a fair amount of the branch with the cola’s, hoping to get a better drying period this time around. With the long branches left on the cola’s I expect my wet to dry weight to be a very low percentage yield. But I don’t really care about that I’m more interested in getting the buds to as tasty and powerful as possible so I’d like to get all that goodness in the branches into the buds.
I purchased a humidifier to try and keep the room in the 50-60% RH park, last time I didn’t have a humidifier and it was in the 30% range and dried in 2-3 days. Hoping to have this dry time extended into the 7-10 day window I hear people talking about. I’m better prepared this 2nd time around to get her dried is a “correct” manor.
Very excited to try out this harvest, fingers crossed it’ll be the first harvest we haven’t experienced any issues with.

Took two of us 3 hours to harvest and wet trim her, was a lot of work to process 5.5 lbs (wet weight) of harvest.
First of all this isn't a "Custom Strain" this is from Next Generation Seeds (nextgenerationseedcompany.com) they just aren't listed on grow diaries as a breeder. I have no affiliation with them, I have received nothing from them, I just don't want to take credit for a strain that isn't mine.
I’m going to put the bud/smoke/etc part up here and the plant/grow part below.
Now that she is harvested I can speak of her other qualities.
I’ve been smelling my sweet Ms. Blueberries for weeks now and I’ve been so excited to actually try her out. This is only my 2nd grow and with getting such a huge yield from her I decided to send her into a proper lab for testing to find out her exact THC level. Attached below in the pictures is the lab report, it goes as follows.
CBD = < 0.100% (not detectable)
THC delta-9 = 0.178
THCa = 22.2
Total THC = 19.7%
The breeder, Next Generation Seeds, said this strain was 20% THC so I think 19.7% is bang on perfect, especially since that is the actual convertible Total THC using the conversion factor of 0.877 rather than the higher adding method that some use.
By comparison the White Cookies I grew from Crop King Seeds was suppose to be 19.25% THC according to Crop King Seeds (never had it tested). This Blueberry by Next Generation hits way harder and lasts way longer. I don’t know what the White Cookies actually is but it feels a lot lower then this Blueberry does.
Bud size/yield on her is amazing, my “small” buds are in around the .8g mark and I’m swimming in buds that are in the 1.5g mark.
Now for taste, smell, smoke, effect….
The smell is a “sweet berry”, I don’t think I’d call it a blueberry smell, but then again I have blueberry bushes in my back yard and eat them straight off the plant so my idea of a blueberry smell fresh off the plant might be different then people buying store bought ones.
The smoke is very nice, it has a mint and berry taste to it. It’s very pleasing and everyone whom we’ve given it to has liked it.
The high is very much a hybrid of a indica/sativa mix. It’s very nice and it’s very chatty, but also really relaxing. Had a couple friends stop by the other weekend, we smoked a lot of blueberry, lazed around and chatted about food for hours as we ate. It’s relaxing and nice to sleep on, but is also ok to work and do stuff on if you don’t hit it too hard.
The high comes in “waves” and you’ll think, “that was nice” as you are coming down off of a high wave and starting to think about other toke… but then all of a sudden another wave and are surprised it keeps going. It has lasting/staying power and it very pleasant, however it can be a bit of a “headband” high especially if you smoke a lot of it. Not a “heavy” headband but a lighter rubber headband.
If I got to name this strain I think I’d call it Mint Berry Headband.
We have shared this with several friends and family it’s gotten great reviews from everyone. Would highly recommend this as a grow.
Update: 10 weeks after harvest
Everyone loves this strain, we are down to 6.5 oz left and are going to keep the rest for ourselves and our guests. Friends have always liked the weed we've shared but never like this, they are all nuts to get more of this stuff.
The taste is amazing and the hi is the perfect blend of Indica and Sativa. Totally relaxing but doesn't couch lock you (unless you over do it), comes in waves and lasts a long long time, still social, uplifting, and interactive with others. To top it all off it's a pleasure to sleep on.
I have slated to grow another blueberry this fall, it'll be my first repeat strain grow, this is just too good of a strain to run out of.

Ms. Blueberry has been an absolute joy to grow. I can’t say enough great things about her. Part of that has been that I did massive work on the grow room setup, electrical, airflow, water management, etc and it’s paid off in a grow that I didn’t have any issues. Can I get an Amen!
Ms. Blueberry produced in spades posting massive numbers that I couldn’t even dream of a year ago. 2,475g of wet trim and 530g (1.17 lbs) of dry bud. WOW did that put a smile on my face, it was so hard looking at Ms. Blueberry and estimating what I would come out with.
She was very leggy and I needed to use a lot of bamboo sticks and ties to hold her up. She really should have been put into a scrog, but I made due and don’t regret my choice not to scrog. Not installing a scrog had a big benefit that I could twist and turn her however I like as she had her big flower stretch.
I tried to leave longer branches on the colas as wanted the drying to be slower this time around. She dried over 5 days for the cola’s with short branches and 6 days for the ones with long branches. I bought a humidifier this time around and put her in a bathroom with a humidifier, fan, and covered window so that she got a decent quality drying.
Coming out of drying she smoked fantastic, she’s curing up now and should only improve on something that is already excellent.
When I took apart the pot/root ball I decided to take pictures of it and post them here. The blueberry had strong roots out from top to bottom, edge to edge of the entire 16 gallon (60 litres) pot. She used up all the space and if she was to veg any longer probably could have benefited from a larger pot. She really makes me want to put her into a 25 gallon pot and just grow one of her in the 4x4 tent to see what she’d produce for shits and giggles.
I included a roots comparison picture of the other 2 plants I harvested that grew along side her at the same time in the same space. You can see how the roots of the Blueberry (18.7 oz harvested) compares to the one from the Island Sweet Skunk (13.6 oz) and Sour Jack (5.3 oz). All 3 of these had the same veg time and the same nutes.
That’s all for this one fokes, Ms. Blueberry put on a great show and now she’s all jarred up and bringing smiles, relaxation, conversation, and munchies to people across the nation.
@BigDaddyK,it was $150 imo way too much. But I had 18.7oz so I thought it be worth it and it’s gave me a reference point for other buds. I found a couple other places that were 75 or 100 but they required a medical grow license that I don’t have.
Good job and insane yield! I think you actually did the correct review and comment placement too. The top is the review of the strain itself, and the bottom is the growing conclusion.
@potbelge,Thank you. I dropped her last night, she's now hang up drying. I'll post in the next couple days with the final weeks pictures and info. Now it's the hardest part of all..... waiting for her to dry....
