Soaked in a glass of water for 48hours and then an additional 72 hours in a wet paper towel inside a ziploc bag. All three seedlings breached the soil surface on day 2 after planting.
One seed’s tap root grew into the paper towel to where I could not quite finagle it out. It’s very tip broke off but she still sprouted so I’m going to watch her closely but do expect her to runt if she makes it. We will see, maybe she’s fine. It’s the middle pot, closest to the front of the tent. Lights at 35ish percent power.
May have to stake #2. Her stalk is coming out at an angle from the soil. She’s the one that I broke the end off the tap root while removing her from the paper towel.
Lights are at 50%
One round of cal-mag plus early this week.
Just gave each pot one gallon of plain pH’d water. No vegetative nutrients yet. May do one round this next week. Turned the pots a quarter turn today and the lights are now at 100%.
Pineapple Express Auto 2 has been staked to support the main stalk for when she starts to add weight over her life.
It has been very hot outside and I’m doing my best to keep the temps in the tent from going any higher. I am ready for the seasons to change.
Height
Pineapple Express Auto 1 is 4.5”
Pineapple Express Auto 2 is 3.5”
Pineapple Express Auto 3 is 5”
Back left is Pineapple Express Auto 1
Back Right is Pineapple Express Auto 3
Front is Pineapple Express Auto 2
Light Distance
Pineapple Express Auto 1 is 20”
Pineapple Express Auto 2 is 21”

They are starting to stretch and showing early signs of flowering.
Straight pH’d tap water this week. Good growth.
Pineapple Express Auto 2 is not as tall as the other two, but still bushy and healthy, but remember I broke the end off of its tap root when getting it off of the wet paper towel before placing it in the soil.
No nutrients yet.
They are loving the pH’d tap water. May give them a shot of Cal-Mag this week.
I placed tomato cages on all three plants. I’ve thought about putting in a trellis net but then I wouldn’t be able to flush like I do because I have to move them out of the tent to the flushing area. So tomato cage it is.
A day late in the entry. Busy yesterday.
Not much in height this week. A couple inches.
Fed today with nutes. Let’s see how she does.
Defoliated the bottoms and some inside near main stem.
PEA1 -21.5” and 12.5” from light
PEA2 - 16.5” and 17.5” from light
PEA3 - 23.5” and 10.5” from light
Dried out a bit yesterday before I watered them. Feeding them again tomorrow with nutes. Watering rate is one gallon of fluids every 2-3 days per plant (not including spray mistings, about 1/3 of a quart of plain pH’d tap water per plant every 3 days).
PEA1 is 22” and the light is 12” away
PEA2 is 17” and the light is 17” away
PEA3 is 24” and the light is 10” away
Day 49
A round of nutes six days ago. Plain pH’d tap two days later and from there to finish. Will flush maybe next week. They haven’t grown anymore in height but are getting thick. Defoliated today and then watered 6.5 tap. All three plants are each drinking one gallon of water every two days. No more nutes for the rest of this grow.
PAE 1 is 22” and the light is 12”
PAE2 is 17” and the light is 17”
PAE3 is 24” and the light is 10”
A day late on the journal entry. Today is Day 64. These plants are extra stinky.
Pineapple Express Autos 2 & 3 have been placed in the darkness for 2 days before I harvest them.
Pineapple Express Auto 1 still needs to ripen a little longer so it got a drink of water today and has the entire 4x4 tent and all the light to itself.
Pineapple Express Auto 1 is not as frosty as 2 & 3 …yet
The next cycle I plan to grow three of FastBuds420’s Lemon AK Autos
Harvested Pineapple Express Autos 1 & 2 on Day 67 after 48 hours of darkness. Superfluous amount of trichomes on both plants. Very sticky.
Pineapple Express Auto 3 has just been placed in the dark and will be harvested in a couple days. She hasn’t produced as many trichomes but I feel she is done. Hopefully the 48 hours of darkness will increase the trichomes. I’ve heard that it does.
Next update will have the wet weights of all three listed and I will post the dry weight once all three are finished drying.
