620g harvested from small plant + the quickly trimmed hash material.... Beautiful lilac hues to the heads of each stem. Drying and final trimmed weight to come. Plant 2 coming soon 680g harvested from the large plant + the quickly trimmed hash material. There's more stem left in this so I would expect the overall weight to be approximately the same as the small plant when taking this into account. 1300g combined, which should come out to approximately 350-400 total when fully dried and trimmed up. I'm quite happy with the outcome, and I think that the grow room space is totally optimised. Doing any LST or SCROG wouldn't yield any more, the tent is already maxed out, but would be nice to see if all nodes got the same/similar light intensity how the average bud quality changed. Smell from plant 2 is way different and I've made two separate piles of hash trimmings to make individual dry shake after it's been in the freezer for a week. That should be ready before the buds so I can give a smoke report and add a flowering week on the process of making that and how it turns out. Currently drying at 60% RH and 23°c but I'm in the process of optimising the temps to get a better final dried product. I'll give a smoke report when it's finished drying.

@Herikus, thanks! Can't wait to get them rolled up. Tall plant looks real frosty, it's a shame it's not gonna go full length but should still be mighty fine.

why do you use acid? Btw, great plant !!!!!!
Its5h1ll
Its5h1llcommented3 months ago
@Psilocubensis, sulphuric acid is used simply to lower the pH of the nutrient solution, the tap water here is 8.4pH so after mixing usually it's above 7pH before regulation with sulphuric acid. The citric acid is used to lower the pH further so a pH range is covered over a few hours as the pH naturally rises from the break down and plant uptake of the citric acid. But citric acid has another benefit, if you look up the Krebs Cycle you will find it's actually called the citric acid cycle too, and it's all to do with cell energy production and electron carrying etc throughout the plant. I wouldn't grow a plant without it
