I overwatered in the early stages and the only reason she look as good as she does now is due to her genetics. 420 Fastbuds ! Best genetics out on the market today !
I started using fox farm liquid nutrients as a supplemental fertilizer along with Dr Earth. I too dressed with Hapoy Frog Soil conditioner and added Cal Mag for the first time. I made up a foliage spray from fox farm’s big bloom and it seems to be working great. My plants are loving life.
I defoliated everywhere that light couldn’t penetrate and I tied her down to spread out the branches. Last week of feeding before I start the flushing process. Very strong lemony/berry/🔥odor. Dark Dark Purple is starting to show on buds and sugar leaves. Very easy grow and I’m highly impressed with these genetics. Highly recommend giving this one a try.
I added molasses to my normal feeding schedule and defoliated slightly to expose bud sites. I only trimmed what was necessary. I also took a few bud sites from the very bottom of the canopy that were way behind schedule. Hopefully, this will help focus its energy into producing bigger buds. I’m just a couple days away from the beginning of flushing stage unless things slow down drastically. Very rapid bud development over the past week. I was in my tent ALOT this week. lol ! The pics don’t do it justice. Fastbuds Genetics are amazing. Btw, this seed came from the 5 pack mix auto pack. Very impressed with these genetics. Couldn’t be happier about my first grow.
I defoliated slightly to expose more of the buds to light in order for more bulking. First signs of the flushing stage are beginning to show in the upper canopy. Will Flush again within 24hrs and that will probably be the last full water before harvest unless things slow way down. Yes, I am past the avg time for this plant to mature but I stunted her completely very early in the seedling stage and it took almost two full weeks to recover. I had almost zero to very little growth for those two weeks which I’m sure pushed everything back. Even with the early mistakes the end results are lining up to be a pretty decent harvest for a first time grower. Great genetics with a little bit of luck never hurts anything…especially an autoflower! Ty to Fastbuds for sponsoring this diary.
First signs of plant fading out. Showing dark purple and orange colors. Very strong but sweet smelling. Buds are maturing and bulking has almost doubled the size of the buds in less than a week. Can’t wait to harvest. Pics you see this week are from day 75
Turning out to be a decent size plant with multiple colors showing…mainly purple, orange, and magenta. All trichomes are now cloudy and will be monitoring daily to see when I have around 10% amber trichomes. Very happy with this grow. Day 87 is when I took the last few pics and I re tied some branches to spread her out even more. I saw mostly cloudy trichomes with one lone amber trichomes on the tallest bud. I topped this plant multiple times on the outer branches and I’m guessing this is the main reason it’s taking so long for her to finish up. However, on the positive side this plant is huge and I’m expecting an above avg yield for an auto…especially a first time grower auto. I planted this along with the bubblegum auto I just harvested and it’s a night/day difference between the two. Made a lot fewer mistakes with this one and it shows big time. Love this strain and I will grow it again. Day 91 update: Buds are getting bigger and denser every single day. Trichomes are 50-50 clear & cloudy. Seeing a few amber on some sugar leaves. Once Again…please don’t take the time frame into account with this plant. I topped numerous times and I set this plant back weeks by doing so. If you want fast DO NOT TOP and DO NOT OVERWATER ! If either of these things happen you might as well add two weeks time onto your projected harvest date.
I retied a couple branches to maximize light penetration to the lower canopy and watered @ 6.3 ph as needed. After each watering I let the soil dry out completely before watering again. This seemed to help the plant add on weight in the final stages. The last week has been where most of your weight comes from because I’ve seen several branches almost double in size in these last week or so. Very bright colors of purple, magenta, & orange buds with contasting yellowish color in the leaves. I might have just made a word up right there but that’s ok. Absolutely loving the smell of this plant and the budds are very frosty n dense.
Almost done ! I’m guessing a couple more days and the trichomes will be close to 10-15% amber. Each time I decide to harvest she starts throwing more white pistols and starts adding more weight. Very strong citrus- berry & gas smell. Very strong aroma ! Will start letting her dry out for a few days in the tent under normal conditions…just no water. Very large very dense Nugs ! Very Dense ! The only downside to this grow is the amount of time it’s taken to finish but that is my fault for not having the right environment for the majority of its life cycle. Once I was able to control the humidity I was able to get some pretty good results for a first run by a brand new grower. Definitely going to grow this strain again soon.
Day 98 : I’m giving her 48hrs more and then I’m chopping her down. The buds are maturing rapidly but the amber in the trichomes around around 5% right now. I’m looking for around 15% amber.
