Second grow in the 2x2

Second grow underway. Wanted to try growing two plants instead of one. Since I’m still growing in my 2x2, space is at a premium, so I will grow these plants in 3 gallon pots for their final home instead of 5 gallon like I used previously. I am also using a new light, which will necessitate a bit of a learning experience to figure out how to use it best. I am planning on more aggressively scrogging this time to keep the plant sizes under control and to hopefully increase my harvest of good buds and decrease the larf. Since I am changing a lot of variables, I will use two freebie seeds I got from seedsherenow.com. Seeds are Ethos Genetics (Gary Payton x Fishscale) x Grandpa’s Cookies #10 cross. Seeds are feminized so I should be good to go. Sowed seeds into peat pods soaked in Recharge on August 1. Both germinated on the 3rd. I had the light intensity higher than I probably wanted, and simultaneously too far away from the tops of the seedlings for the first couple days, so they both got a little stretchy. Roots emerged from the pods on the 7th, so I transplanted both seedlings to solo cups with Coast of Maine Stonington Blend with 5 tsp of grow dots in each. I also moved the light closer to 11” from canopy and turned the intensity lower. The seedlings looked much happier the next day, and I managed to turn the light back up. Current ppdf is around 200-250, which should be good for them now. Temp has been kept around 72-76 degrees F, and humidity was started at 68%, and was lowered to 65% after transplant to the solo cups. I am targeting keeping the vpd around 0.8 or lower for the moment. I anticipate transplanting to the final 3 gallon pots in about a week or so, and will post my next diary then.
