The girls quickly recovered from tipping and have exploded in growth this week it feels like. Both plants have some unique phenotypes that I’ve noticed so far. The one plant is a good two inches taller than the other, and her nodes are growing very tight to the main stem vertically rather than outwards and horizontal from the stem. I suspect this one will need some heavier pruning because more undergrowth will end up being shaded. She’s also growing some monster fan leaves, which are also helping to shade the undergrowth as well. The fan leaves are very sturdy and I fear trying to tuck them under will result in them snapping off, and I think that would be worse than getting a few more nodes some more light in veg.
The other plant has a wild wavy edge phenotype going on, I think I’ve determined. I thought she was stressed from transplanting or overwatered or some combo, but even now when she’s dialed in and growing like a champ, all leaves and new growth are growing with wavy edges. It’s a fun thing, now that I know she’s not stressed :). She’s growing a lot wider than the other plant, so I think she should be easier to fill out the net than the other pheno once I get to that point.
Both plants are very happy and are growing super vigorously. I’ve only watered them two times since I transplanted them, so this can be a testament to the power of not over watering your plants.
