Welcome to a new journey. I am happy that you are reading this. This time, I will grow Royal Critical Auto, a classical strain, which I got as a freebie. I put the seed in a wet paper towel in a plastic bag and after two days I planted it into a jiffey.
Update 21/8 (Day 3): I planted the seedling into her final pot, an 12,5l Airpot. I filled the pot with Aldi Bio soil and on top I put Plantura herb soil which is less fertilized; i also added some Dynomyco Mycorrhizal, as always. For the next days, I will put her into the basement under the SanLight with 40% on 18-6.
Royal Critical Auto is striving in the warm basement under the SanLight EVO 3-80 at 40%. I see a little progress every day. In the next week, I will put her outside for a few hours into the sunshine.
The seedling is striving in the warm basement under the SanLight at 40% for 18 hours. The conditions are ideal. The girl already has several new nodes. I have never seen such rapid growth at the beginning of the vegetative phase. But there are also the first gnats showing up, although I used new soil. I will probably buy some new SF Nematodes to prevent a plague.
Royal Critical Auto is growing vigorously. Everything looks perfect, except for the gnats that become more every day. I ordered SF Nematodes as capsules (already and applied) and living (delivery probably on Thursday) and hope to solve to problem by next Sunday.
Royal Critical is growing like crazy, almost doubling in size in the last week. I did not add any fertilizer to the Aldi Bio soil, yet. The SF Nematodes did their job, only a few gnats are flying around. Preflowering has started. This strain is a trooper!
Royal Critical Auto is marching on. She has started flowering and made another jump to 75cm. I still did not feed any nutrients, just the Aldi Bio soil, in which she was planted. Some leaves are slightly curled and dark green, which hints at too much nitrogen, but I will just ignore that. The same is true for the few gnats, against which I used some more SF nematodes. She usually is in the basement, but I allowed her two sunny days this week. Today will be probably the last day, on which I can put her outside, so I hope she enjoys it.
Royal Critical Auto has stopped growing at a convenient 77cm and is now building up her buds. This is the fastest genetic I have grown so far; very impressive! I have started giving Alga Bloom to support bud growth. The leaves have a very healhy looking dark green colour; I will cut a few of them in the next days to increase the light for the lower buds.
Royal Critical Auto develops her buds nicely. I fed her with just water and Alga Bloom (4ml/l). My SanLight was at 75% (of 190W). Not much else to do :-)
The buds continue to fatten nicely. This is a compact and efficient genetic. I was away for the week and my son inadvertently gave her mineral bloom fertilizer (NPK 4-8-10) instead of Alga Bloom, which did not hurt. I will continue to do this for this and next week. Then I plan to harvest.
We have reached 10 weeks and the lady is almost ready. The buds are really large and fat for this small sized plant. The name Critical (Mass) is more than adequate. If the taste and effects are similarly good as the growth, this genetic will become part of my future standard program.
Royal Critical Auto is almost ready; actually I could have already cut her today, but after cutting and preparing Euphoria there was no time left. So I will give her a few days only water and will harvest her before next sunday. These buds are really large :-).
Royal Critical Auto is in the dark chamber since yesterday and I will cut her tomorrow. Her buds are really thick and full of trichoms. The trichoms are mainly milky, but a considerable amount are already amber. I will keep you updated.
