I have only been feeding them distilled water for now. What nutes should I be feeding her?

Hey there deegee, so im not sure what soil you use but most of the time it has some level of food to it...but it will run out after a few weeks. Whether you go with cannabis friendly nutes or regular home/garden store supplies you'll want some form of "grow" or all purpose plant food...something with good N levels and some P/K. If you can get ahold of a micronutrient that would be very advisable soon as you're using distilled water which won't usually have as many trace elements as a tap water would...copper, zinc, etc etc etc. Many people make use of sea products like kelp/seaweed extract also. And of coarse any root zone will make great use of mycorrhizal fungi product...make sure it specifies endo-mycorrhizal though as i believe that one is key to cannabis, and then feeding your roots help too like with the molasses or kelp as others mentioned. Happy new year and happy growing. ✌️

at this stage in veg the name of the game is the underground action. You want a sturdy and resilient root system so the plant can beast out during flower. So two things are a must : 1. root boosters like kelp extract - just careful with the PH because it can raise your PH and 2. "CalMag" , but use it as a spray (spray until dripping wet) two or three times a week. Optional are veg nutes with NPK 10/2/2 some ratio like that... and the magic juice that no one tells you about : the enzymes or better yet the amino acids... they help the plant develop by transforming the nutrients in the soil into nitrates - because without that transformation actually plants cant use nutrients ! hope this helps ! 🚀

Right now a root booster and start a light feed stay at around 300-400 ppms i use distilled water so its at 0 i would get a fox farm feed going on i would go Roots at 1.5 a gallon and your veg nutes at 1/4 are 1/2 and feed one a day👍👍

Looks like alack of light to me , as she stretches so much. I think you will need more watt, guessing same as you have, i cant believe that you are having 1000 W, maybe the light is called 1000, She should grow different if its an 1000 w Led...

@Mrs_Larimar, Really? Should I move her closer to the light?

next time to avoid the stretch you want to have your lamp to plant distance a bit closer 👊
CRiSPrGrow
CRiSPrGrowcommented6 years ago
@DeeGee757, when you have apical dominance, it's hard to tell if you measure the distance from the tip top or from the canopy level... yep !

DeeGee757commented6 years ago
@CRiSPrGrow,Thanks. We had her right up to the lamp as it's LED. She's only about 4" from it now and then that's the top of how high the light can go and she's still growing lol. We just moved the tent around yesterday as there are two plants from another grow that need light too.

Hi i hope your feeding works, it is very heavy, from zero to 4ml each fertiliser,,, ok we will see. I normally start with half of the recommend dosage to see how the plant reacts.

Mrs_Larimarcommented6 years ago
@DeeGee757,help them to digest , and give them plain water for one week. I either would mix grow and bloom because she needs some N. and not give Calmag, because it contains N too and it addes up. but as i said we will see the effects in a few dys.

@Mrs_Larimar, Thanks. And thanks for your help. It turned out to be a very productive grow and it's very potent. Off to start my next grow :-)

We originally had to tie it up because the stem was so weak

never grow without cal mag. try also a cal mag + kelp extract spray twice a week if you dont want to actually feed the nutes - probably works better anyway !

@DeeGee757, just noticed you got beasts for lights lol, nice !
CRiSPrGrow
CRiSPrGrowcommented6 years ago
@DeeGee757, cal mag is used to make strong plants especially stems and stalks (silica is also used for that) + calcium + magnesium is used when the plant grows / stretches , usually cannabis doesnt need as much nutrients as other flower plants but when it does stretch / grow it ends up needing more calcium and magnesium than normally found in many soils... especially if you have an "intense" light schedule. Canna plants uptake cal mag better through the leaves - hence the spray technique

How will I know when she's in flower and other than change her nutes, what else do I do differently? Thanks again in advance, Dee

@DeeGee757, She is definitely in flower. Hairs are the signal. Other than change nutes you can up the lighting or add some form of CO2 during the 12 hours of light being on 👍

I did bend the top over and tied it to the side. She'is dank and sticky now. Can't wait ;-)

I had a look at some blogs and here's what they say. Super Cropping/Stem Mutilation Stem mutilation is a more aggressive version of LST. Instead of tying down the top of the plant, you’re bending the branch until the fibers break and it folds over. The goal is to not snap the branch or even tear the skin of the stalk. You simply want it to kink and bend over. To best do this, find the location you wish to break the branch and begin to roll and squeeze the stem. You will able to feel it weaken and break down, and it will eventually be able to fall over. This method will give the rest of the plant more exposure to light and time to catch up to this top stalk. This intimidates me greatly lol @mrs_larimar @bulbi
