SUNSET SHERBET
Sponsored by **Zamnesia **
10/27-11/2 week 8
This week was all about defoliation and LST for Frosted Guava and Sunset Sherbet. Both these Zamnesia strains are similar in that they have numerous small leaves and many, many of them. The data sheet recommends regular maintenance, and defoliation is not a quick task. Speaking of tasks, this grow has been entirely manual in my 3x3 tent. I have to refill the humidifier daily and reduce the lighting periodically because sometimes it gets in the upper 80s and the humidity gets too high for the gals in flower.
Last week I said Sunset Sherbet stems were stiff and didnโt want to tie the limbs down for fear of breaking. Well against better judgment I tried anyway using bamboo BBQ skewers. Pics show I split the main stalk which I repaired by coating the wound with manuka honey, left some of the qtip fibers in the split, and taped it with electrical tape. This really is stressful on the plant and I expect harvest will be delayed.

I got some of these seeds awhile back, but photo version. I havenโt gotten to these yet so itโll be interesting to see yours grow, even if auto. Good luck
@Sour_D, my early grows were about 57g. Since adding recharge my recent harvests have increased to 80+g. It definately strengthens the plant and allows efficient nutrient intake. I did have 2 amazing grows-Apollo and granddaddy purple ๐ over 4 and 5oz respectively. Pretty sure those were on account of genetics. I'm still looking for the right organic combination of nutrients without 20 bottles of this and that.
@Ultraviolet, Hi UV, when I find it at Marshall's, I buy all I can. I shoot for over 40+. Yes it is costly. This time of year I do put in my teas along with a squirt of ashwaganda
