Here we are again, after hot summer ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic and now we present them to you.
The first lady we present to you is the Blue Cheese F1 Auto, I asked the Zamnesia elves to send me these seeds because I loved this strain so much in the past. I remember well when it came out on a trip to Amsterdam we went crazy. And I remember well when a dear friend of mine used it with phenomenal results. This strain has a background in me. Great fruity flavors very intense I remember. Let's see what comes out.
To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of right advisors, I chose to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step.
Preparation Phase Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination.
Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases).
Phase 1 - Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the soil 90% normally.
Phase 2 - Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper in water, no.
Phase 3 - In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose those with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems.
Phase 4 - The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Be careful not to exceed the first week at least with photoperiodic plants.

Here we are, ready, after a week of truly fruitful germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia.
We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudice against this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is from an autoflowering or a normal photoperiodic plant. There are people who claim to recognize it from the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering. She is the Blue Cheese, a second generation Dutch strain let's say, traditional but this time in f1 Hybrid version. I loved it so much in the past, let's see.

The Blue Cheese F1. Hybrid is a latest generation autoflowering strain that is responding very well to my care. I have already tried other f1s and this one also seems exceptional. In the next few weeks I have the feeling that we will see some great things.

Zamnesia spaceship here, it's your Space Sailor Bread_n_Buds speaking to you, we've reached the middle of the third week, exactly day 24 and they are my beautiful space ladies.
She is Blue Cheese F1 Hybrid autoflowering, as I said in the past weeks a legend of the second generation of Dutch herbs let's say, when I tasted her for the first time in Amsterdam, I still remember it. Ours is in F1 version, so much desire to grow, very similar to her little sister, slightly underfertilized I think she is still going into flowering and that hungry period that the fast f1s have accentuated even more is starting. Let's be clear, she is doing very well, we are aligning the nutrients perfectly now and the plant is nice and taut and balanced.

For our Zamnesia girls It's time to work some magic, since October 1st we are in flowering, the plants have vegetated for exactly 4 weeks, a single top has been done on some, others are growing straight, some clones here and there still in veg.
Up until now and often you have heard me sing the praises of classic strains, this is a classic strain or rather of the second / third generation of Dutch weed let's say not from the era of northern light but immediately after, it was invented in that era but now Zamnesia offers it to us again in the F1 Hybrid Autoflowering version. It's a great revisitation all the f1s I've tried are super and this one also seems to be doing great, the plants are identical only different in size one is really hungry and bigfoot the other is regular. Our Zamnesia autoflowers have been on their journey through the magical flowering period for a while now, this is the second week of flowering considering that autoflowers still flower spontaneously some sooner than others but all around the 3rd-4th week. .
---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a bit more but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid compromising the quality of the flowers. If necessary open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees
where 30 is already a lot. The positive thing is that as soon as the lights go out the change is already somewhat visible and as autumn progresses we will also improve. ---- Plant - I have sung the praises of this plant and the F1s and not just to throw words to the wind. Look at the difference between the two Blue Cheeses and all the other 10 autoflowerings (in 5 strains) that I have; they are very advanced as if they were 2-3 weeks ahead of the others. Compare the f1s with the normal ones to understand the difference. I continue to be amazed by the speed of these plants and their power. I have two very similar in everything except size. One is giant, well over a meter and flowers at a speed that is unbelievable. The other is smaller but super resinous and has already reached the time of putting on colors for me a sign of fush, with the f1s I wait a little longer but especially the smallest one could finish in 8 weeks
However, a super harvest is expected of about 70-80 grams for the large plant and 30-40 grams for the small one but really fiery with resin and wow what a smell!

And we have arrived at the magic moment for our autoflowering plants, the Zamnesia elves are working their magic and the buds are composing and freezing in the night. A scent of paradise now invades my house.
--- This time as often happens lately we have to take our hats off and make a big bow to the Zamnesia breeders: this strain is a great success. A classic that those who have smoked it and known it well know, a true Dutch classic that revisited by Zamnesia in the F1 Hybrid version is exceptional. I have two superfast plants, one of which I could harvest today on day 52 but I'm waiting until day 60 out of shame for doing it too early. The other one is very large and full of flowers and takes a week longer to finish but because it has put on an incredible amount of flower in such a short time. We are about to harvest the first crop of the legendary #Croptober and it will be from the smaller of the two Blue Cheese F1 Hybrids.
I took the liberty of taking out a very small sugar leave to show you the potential of my new macro kit we have a nice series of magnifying 50x, the first photos ever taken with a new equipment I think we will see some beautiful ones.
---- Fertilization program - I usually try to blend the fertilizer but with these plants that finish as fast as the wind it is difficult to blend and if you detach you have immediately deficiencies and in flowering it is not nice. So you find yourself pumping fertilizer and the plant risks arriving slightly loaded as happened to me now but keep kalm, the small one has already been flushed twice with 20 liters of water and is lightening and the large one has now that it is taking color the time to blend I hope without going into deficiency I would like to see the yellow in a natural way.

We have reached the first harvest, I do not mark it as harvested because the other one is still going and will be harvested in 7 - 10 days.
Here we are with our Blue Cheese F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, it was the first to be harvested in just 59 days, born in fact on September 1st, all of it was harvested on October 30th, not bad at all.
The flowers are really beautiful, excellent resin, skunky scent as we like it a little gray, as soon as we smell skunk we fly into the past, far from indie and commercial music and with generic nostalgic references. Here with a smell of skunk we teleport to the coffee shops of Amsterdam in the late 90s. It often happens to me when I smell the flavors and smells of the first super herbs I smoked. With Skunk and derivatives more than anything. And then with Cheese which is precisely a derivative and with Bubblegum I go straight back to that coffee shop.
The amount of grass is average, the plant is not very tall, about 90 cm and has been cleaned underneath, the largest is 100 cm, it will give us a lot of grass, the phenotypes are slightly different despite being f1 but at least two phenotypes seem obvious to me, we must grant them, mom and dad.
I did a big flush but the plant arrived a bit green anyway, I had exaggerated in pumping a bit and I anticipated the harvest by about a week when I saw my jars almost empty. Let's be clear, we are still at an excellent amount of mature pistils, about 75%, and as for trichomes we are a bit amber, mostly cloudy and also some transparent still. But whatever, we are ready anyway.
We really liked the easy to clean harvest with those flowers that come out well without leaves that are too difficult to remove.

I tell you guys, try these F1s from Zamnesia, they are a rocket, as I was saying above of course you have to grow in ideal conditions or you have to try to get close to them, don't think of keeping the humidity at full blast during flowering and having good results. The resin is 10 and praise, my gloves were full of charas from gloves in both harvests and smoked it is divine.
They were both harvested with the pistils more or less at 70% - 75% and the trichomes mixed: some amber, mostly cloudy and some transparent. My advice is NOT to let the plant go too far, maturity is fine but then the THC decays and even the Sativas become with physical effects.
