1/27/19 - Fell a little out of sync with my grow schedule, and poor tangie'matic had to SHOW me she was hungry because I just wasn't paying attention... Doh! 😩
Gave her another feeding using 1/3 the recommended strength of UC Roots, Coco Cal, and Veg A&B. Keeping a close eye, because I think I may have been misdiagnosing calcium deficiency as nute or light burn in the past. The more I read, the more it makes sense. Constantly learning!
This grow is dedicated to purposefully learning and trying something new… It’s going to be my first time attempting to top my autos. I have talked to many talented growers of both sides of the fence, and what I have determined is this… Reading article upon article, forum thread upon forum thread, and grow diary upon grow diary ad nauseam isn’t going to give me what I’m looking for. Only my own first-hand experience is going to reveal to me what MY best way to grow is. I have gotten more than comfortable with my creative ways of LSTing - when at first I was all thumbs and nervous mistakes. Now it’s time for me to get uncomfortable again. And you know what they say, the only time you are ACTUALLY growing is when you’re uncomfortable! 😉 So I’m just all around enthusiastic about the next few months!
1/29/19 - Leaves had begun showing signs of what I think is calcium deficiency a few days ago, but I had failed to read the signs. Now I have worked to correct it by adding small doses of Coco Cal to the reservoir over the past couple of days. As of yesterday, symptoms were still rapidly progressing to new leaves. None of the new branches are affected, it seems to only be showing up on the fan leaves so far, but I'm. Hoping today I start to see the turn around and the halting of progressing symptoms.
Today I topped Tangie'matic at the 5th node. Let's see if she still loves me in the morning 🌤️
2/2/19- Tangie'matic is showing zero signs of stress after her topping. She pretty much just kept on growing and doing her thang. I removed a couple of leaves that had suffered from calcium deficiency and now this lady is just flourishing! 😍
Great job! Even without the challenges that you had you really came through on this one in my opinion. I’m going to switch over to ebb and flow for my next auto as you really can see a difference in the yield and quality.
Thanks for sharing
@blazin_skywalker, you’re a bad influence on me lol. I have a gorilla glue and an amnesia xxl autos that I went and topped this afternoon since reading yours. Truthfully I did it to my Moby Dick early on and the results have seemed pretty good so far.
@Silverback_Guerilla,There's nothing like enjoying the beauty of buds in their natural lighting. I felt like I was looking at her for the first time! 😍
This is a wonderful grow, well done 👌
But why is tangie purplish, isn't is supposed to be white ? I also have tangie she is in her 8th week and is frosty white lul 😂
@WiddieThePooh, Thank you! I think the biggest factor in the throw of color was the dramatic temperature fluctuations this poor plant endured. When I moved them into the basement to finish flowering, the day/night temperature swing was pretty substantial. This is just a theory though. ✌️
What a yield truely awesome grow, great colours. I’m growing 3 Tangie’matic’s if I can get anything close to that per plant I will be amazed lol. I’m hoping for 16 oz off 3 plants. Enjoy those flowers.
@DustyDuke, Thank you so much! Do you have a diary shared for them? I'd love to watch the grow! She's been curing for a couple of weeks now and oh my terpy word, what a beautiful smoke!!!
Hey! Im talking to u on Instagram..
I want to learn w/ ur diaries, dank plants 🖤

That is amazing. What was your average indoor temp? Also I am using 8 gal current culture now. I have light leaks in between the holes where the tubes are supposed to go through, it leaves a gap. Did you have any issues with that? I bought a linear air pump and I have a feeling that brought my indoor temp much higher , I’m sitting at 84F from 80F now which is not good at all.
