day #18: Watering every 2 days. Blue vegetation light 18/6. Fan on for 12/24 half an hour on, half off. Both plants are looking good. Since I see 5 nodes now, I'm planning to: - transplant in the final pots in 2 days. - maybe topping of at the end of 3th week. day #20: Re potted and topped both plants. I hope that transplant and topping combined won't be fatal. Fingers crossed. I wasn't able to find any Coco Coir in garden shops nearby, so I decided to make my own mix with what I have: last quarter brick of pressed Coco, supermaket soil (6 ph), perlite with little coffee grounds. On the bottom of the 9,5 l pots I put two inches of Biobizz Allmix soil + perlite + coco coir. Then filled up both pots with regular soil + perlite mix. All watered with a litre water adding some Bcuzz Coco Nutrition A and Fish Mix. So far, I starded germination with soil, than swithed 10 days in coco only, than into the final pot with like 15% perlite, 70 % regular soil and 15% coco coir.

Newbie here. Got 4 small clones took during week n.3. Can I grow them in the same tent, same period as the mothers are supposed to? I'd planned to switch to flo stage in 5 data and clones are still weak and 4 cmq tall. Do I have to setup a second tent? Mandatory? Thanks

Hello mate, i think the clones are too weak and young to support the flowering phase. it's better to keep the clones in veg phase during the flowering phase of the others so after the harvest you can put the clones directly in flowering. Good luck and happy journey!

After looking at your diary, there is very little plant above the net, in fact the plants are quite small in general. I would not be defoliating, this just reduces the amount of energy the plant can make, which limits growth. If I were you, I would just slightly lollipop the areas close to the main stem to make access for irrigating easier and then leave the plants alone to finish naturally. Defoliation is not an essential "technique" for growing cannabis and should only really be done if there are incredible issues with controlling excessive humidity. Buds do not need direct exposure to light for growth to occur, just like how fruit does not only grow on the sunny side of trees. Just remember.......... Less leaves = less energy being made = less potential growth.............it is that simple. ALL of the plants energy to grow and thrive comes from the leaves, it does not come from anywhere else. Removing leaves so the plant can "redirect energy into bud growth" is scientifically and biologically impossible. Without the leaves, there can be no energy!

Ugh! One of my two plants Is dying. I suspect overwatering associated with some other issue I can't spot properly. 58 days flowering. It was my first flushing session, not a good start. Her sister has no problem. Poked holes in the dirt, raised temp, maxed the fans. What else?

It looks like you may be too late. I suspect the overwatering has been a problem for a while and it has turned into root rot and the plant can't uptake anything and is busy dying.

In my second try I still had troubles with root rot by overwatering issues. This time I waited even 3/4 between waterings (half liter for plant) but soil never ever dried properly. Next time I'll use Light mix, grow shop pots and practice patience. What else do you advice peep?

Hey there one thing I like todo is set my exaust fan to not run for like 45 min then set to run for 15min this helps the air in the tent heat up and evaporate air from the soil then everyn45 min the exhaust fan will clear the tent letting it start over. Also next time if you use promix HP it is high prosperity witch means it I'd airy and dries out quickly also if you mix extra perlite into it this will help even more also if you put about 1inch of perlite in the bottom of your grow pots this will help a ton with drainage. The key to good roots is having a good start as a seedling. When the plant is still small make sure to only give the seedling like 45 sprays from water bottle then1dt few times you water untill roots hit bottom the container then when you transfer the plant to large pot makensure you are only watering on the egmdge of the pot making roots reach outwards. After plant hadnrooted the pot well then only water when soil is completely dry canntake 1o day or so sometimes durring early veg. Plants will start to look nice for a period then when soil gets really dry plants will start to sag a little this is when you want to water When plants go into flower I like to let them go as long as possible till they look stressed from not enough water then I subtract 1 day from that and then that's my water schedule for flower for the plant. One very important thing is to eater plants individually just because one plant is ready to be watered don't be lazy and water all the plants at the same time. They will all drink up water at diff paces

Have you ever made this mistake? My second harvest was someway worst then my first. Sure I did some watering mistakes but during my chores in the room and in the tent, I found out. I used a random power cable on my PAR LED lamp so when It turned off still had some light on. Bang!

Hey there I have noticed my spider farmer 100w light some of leds have a glow when the light is off I'm not sure if they are doing this on purpose but it only seems to be the evo leds on the light. I'm not sure if the wrong power cable would cause that.

Ocio!

Re-potting in coco coir done well during the light-off period. Plants are totally recovered the day after. 🎉
