In this final week the buds have stopped swelling and focus was more on ripening.
I've checked the trichomes again and most trichomes are milky and some are amber.
So after 63 days of flowering it was time for harvest.
I was a bit worried about possible budrot, but after harvesting them I didn't found any.
And no seeds at all. 👍
During this flushweek I made a mixture of demineralised water and tapwater
at a ratio of 2 litres (0.53 gallon) tapwater to 1 litre (0.26 gallon) of demineralised water.
I'll call this flushwater.
This weeks menu
Day 1 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) ph adjusted flushwater (ec 0.35 – ph 6.6 – 21.1°C/70°F)
Day 2 → Dry
Day 3 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) ph adjusted flushwater + CannaFlush(6ml/3L - 0.73 gal)
(ec 0.27 – ph 6.4 – 19.6°C/67.2°F)
Day 4 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) ph adjusted flushwater (ec 0.34 – ph 6.4 – 19.9°C/67.8°F)
Day 5 → 400 ml (0.11 gallon) ph adjusted flushwater for CN#1, 600 ml (0.16 gallon) for CN#2
and 800 ml (0.21 gallon) for CN#3 (ec 0.35 – ph 6.5 – 18.4°C/65.1°F)
Day 6 → Dry
Day 7 → Harvest day
They've got 10 days of flushing and that must be enough.
The first 2 days the cobs stayed at 264 watt power and 40 cm (17.75 inch) (DLI 38.9/PPFD 900)
On the third day I lowered the power to 240 watt at 40 cm (17.75 inch)
This resulted in a DLI of 36/PPFD 833. It stayed like this till the end of the week/run.
Temperatures fluctuated between 18.8 – 24.6°C (65.8 – 76.3°F) and humidity levels between 30 – 40 %
The last harvest update will be added within +/- 10 days or so,
when the buds are dry enough to put them on the scale.
Till then! 👋
Looking great man! Seeling heat mats under plants. Looks like it's working? Thought about adding my mats like that. Any overheat issues or increase in tent humidity?
@Growyourhi, yeah it's worth the extra cost. The heating mat is connected to a thermostate that I can set between 10 - 30 °C (50 - 86°F)
I keep it on 21°C (70°F) so no issues with overheating. And humidity levels I keep under control with a dehumidifier.
