Okay, so I smoked a joint of some of the smaller almost dry buds last night. Plus I’ve been eating edibles from the trim, so I think I’ve got a fairly good read on the effects. It is a very colourful/happy kinda high. It is also kind of psychedelic like a very mild mushroom trip. I would say it’s a nice smoke to enjoy with a few friends as it can be inspiring. The cheese flavour is at first evident with fruity notes to follow. Dry weight was taken when buds were close to dry at the touch.

Can’t fault them. I realised that all the extras-bud candy, overdrive and big bud-are not really necessary as the coco sensi has all the same nutrients.

I’m blown away by the size of these colas. So happy with this grow. There are plenty of shiny sparkles but I could still do with a few more. This plant is very easy to manage and just gets on with the job of growing big fat smelly buds. @Barney’s Farm are doing a terrific job. After almost getting them dry I’m realising that a lot of the bud is not as dense as I’d hoped. Still a good haul however.00

Grow Questions

I still can’t determine whether this is a heat related or Nute burn issue. Is it that temps are too high causing a Nute problem? I’ve done all I can to lower temps.

Hey @alanwaters, I don't think this is caused by nutrient issue - that would almost in all cases cause leaf tips being burned. My vote would go for minor light stress as it looks like edges of leaves are turning up. It is a young plant so she definitely doesn't need a full power of the lights you have - she would be more than fine with 200W LED. Try to check the documentation for the lights you have but I would go a much further than 40cm with the 600W. If you have dimer on the lights, lower the power to ~50%, or if this is not an option I would go as far as 60-80cm depending on factors like reflective material on the walls, overall temps, RH etc. With such a powerful light this close it is like putting a young plant to full sun...as the saying goes, less is sometimes more 😉 But your plant is still looking healthy so if there is any issue, it is just minor one and she should get better very soon. Good luck and happy growing!

If I have not done so yet, should I be flushing my grow medium every so often to avoid salt build up? If so,would I add the nutes, in water, directly after the flush

Dude, if you are going to grow on coco, a pH meter and EC/PPM meter are a must; be sure to use them. As for your question, as long as your feed lightly, there will be no salt build up. If you want to go ahead anyway, then yes add nutes after the flush, since coco is an inert media and has no nutrients on its own.

@blendmedmedman, cheers. Yeah this number did so well in flower. Veg was a bit messed up because of high temps but she pulled it together for me. Must have had a well established root system to boost like it did.

@Silverback_Guerilla,cheers. Barney’s farm has definitely hooked a brother up. Actually, this seed was a freebie. Ironically, it was the best pheno of the lot I paid the big bucks for.

very brave of you using Hypoaspis in the grow room, they wont really go onto the plant though right?
Waters
Waters
@CRiSPrGrow, no they stay in the top 3-4cm of soil. Why brave? Have u read they aren’t good for the grow room? They’ve been in for a few weeks and I’ve noticed no deficit to the plant.

@@Athos and yeah dude I’ve got a ph and ppm meter and I use them. Thing is I’ve used advanced nutrients for about a year now and got them dialled in pretty well without needing to use ph or ppm. Ph perfect tech they say and they are pretty spot on.
