I planted all three seeds directly in my media mixture and sprayed lightly with water. I will do this throughout the first two weeks of the seedling stage until the roots are able to absorb water properly. Drowning your roots with water early on is the main mistake I made with my last run and if this happens more than once you can go ahead and push your projected harvest date back at least a week…I would say probably two would be more accurate. Also, seed 1 is in a 1 gallon pot and seeds 2 & 3 are starting off in small one gallon pots and I will be transplanting them shortly. I normally don’t transplant autos but I am experimenting a little with this run so I can see what kind of results I can get. If done right there will be a small amount of recovery time but I always count on my autos to exceed the recommended flowering time. When the plant tells me it’s done I harvest it and I am more interested in quality than quantity. Top quality flower is my main objective so everything I do is geared towards that concept in mind.
All I’ve done since germination was water as needed. Usually around 1 liter of water twice a day for the first 10-14 days of life. Starting week 3 my watering rates usually increase as each week passes. This week I will begin adding small amounts of Fox Farm Big Bloom and Cal Mag once a week. Looking good so far! I did add some Fox Farm Ocean Forest to the top of my media to fix leggy seedling and to finish filling up my planter from germination. I ran out of soil during germination so that’s why they went into small pots to begin with. On day 7 I watered with Resl Growers Recharge @ 1tbsp per gallon. Amazing growth for 1 week old seedlings. Huge plants are predicted !
I started LST training and defoliated so that the bottom of the canopy could receive some light. Also, I switched from lime juice to hades down to ph my water because I was killing all of my good bacteria and didn’t realize it. This adjustment could fix the majority of my issues so we’ll see how my plants respond. Very good strain to grow. Probably my favorite strain so far because the structure of this plant is awesome. It practically spread itself out and started reaching for the light without me having to do anything early on. This plant will be huge!
Seed 1 was planted in a 1.5 gallon pot and it’s staring to show flowering signs.
I added a small portion of tiger bloom to my weekly feeding schedule and I’ll gradually be replacing my grow big over the next two weeks of transition into flower. I did some minor LST and defoliation and now I won’t touch her until around the end of week 2 of flower so she can stretch without being stressed. So far this is my favorite strain. The structure of each plant enables it to spread itself out and start reaching for the light on its own. Very Very Nice Strain !
Defoliating the last time to take me into full flower. All 3 doing great !
I started flushing plant # 1 on day 55 . It’s in a small 1 gallon pot and it was planted a week before the other two seeds were planted so it was time to prepare for harvest. Great structure and huge dense buds that Travel up n down each branch. Strong citus/gas smell ! 🔥getting stronger n stronger ! Will definitely grow again because I believe this could be one of my favorite strains to grow.
Defoliated slightly on plants 2 & 3 and started prepping for final 2 weeks flush for these two. Plant 1 is in a 1 gallon pot and is almost done. Love this strain. The smell is fruity with a little spice and a lot of gas. Awesome colors !
I harvested the Apple strudel that was planted in a 1 gallon planter and hung it up to dry. Love this strain and will be growing it again in the future. Will update with full smoke report once it is dried and cured. Stay tuned !
