cheech87 The Panama A5 Haze from ACE Seeds is a cross between two legendary strains: the Panama and the A5 Haze. Here’s a detailed description: Genetics: The Panama A5 Haze combines the old Dutch Haze genetics from the 1980s (A5 Haze, a Northern Lights #5 x Haze cross) with the pure Panama Sativa from ACE Seeds. This cross brings together the strong, psychedelic effects of the Haze with the productive, tropical Sativa structure of the Panama. Growth: It is a tall, very robust plant with long-stretched internodes and a classic, open Sativa structure. Due to its vigorous growth and height, it is more suitable for experienced growers and should be controlled or pruned indoors. Flowering time: The flowering time is 11-13 weeks, which is typical for a Haze-dominant Sativa. Outdoors, it can be harvested in mild climates, usually from late October to early November. Aroma and taste: This strain offers an intense and complex terpene profile with a mix of incense, woody, leathery notes from the A5 Haze, paired with citrus and earthy tones from the Panama. Effect: It produces a very strong, long-lasting, and mentally stimulating effect that is described as psychedelic and trippy. Perfect for creative tasks and intense mental activities, but not necessarily suitable for beginners due to its potency. Yield: Panama A5 Haze is productive, especially outdoors, where it can produce large yields of resin-covered buds. Ideal for Sativa lovers looking for a mix of old-school Haze and classic Panama genetics. Overall, the Panama A5 Haze is a challenging but very rewarding Sativa that offers a complex mix of tropical and Haze characteristics.

cheech87 Germination went smoothly, the plants are now in Plagron's Light Mix. This week I will give them additives for the first time: Water: pH 6.2 EC 0.4 Voodoo Juice: 2 ml/L Piranha: 2 ml/L Tarantula: 2 ml/L Sensizym: 2 ml/L Currently, the plants are not in the tent, but in a box. I'm trying to keep them out of the tent for as long as possible to extend the vegetative phase. Right now they are getting 24 hours of light, next week I will reduce it to 18 hours.

cheech87 Let's see how she develops. However, she's completely different from my first grow. If she gets too stretched and tall during the vegetative phase, I won't keep her and will restart. I did top her, though, to counteract that.

cheech87 Everything's okay, hopefully this time it will be nicer with the Light-Mix soil. We'll see, so far I've always had problems starting from the third week of flowering.

cheech87 Here we go! In a few weeks, I'll see if the Lightmix might be better suited for Sativas; I've had ongoing issues, as you know from my previous grows. This time, I've given her plenty of space and planted her in a 25-liter fabric pot.

cheech87 I have the feeling that I'm doing something wrong again. The lower leaves are slightly yellow, even though I've only lightly fertilized the plant with Green House Long Flowering Feeding, with an EC value of 1.2. Let's see if it gets better or if I'll end up with a yellow plant again at the end of flowering.

cheech87 Everything is fine so far. The older leaves won't recover, but no new yellow leaves have appeared. I'm curious to see if I can keep the plant healthy this time. It's in Light-Mix, and I've fed it with Greenhouse Long Flowering Feeding at an EC value of 1.2 and a pH of 6.5. Let's see if it continues to go well.

cheech87 So far, things are going well for me, but I hope it stays that way. I've been feeding the plant with Greenhouse Feeding Long Flowering, at an EC value of 1.2 and a pH value of 6.3. That seems to be enough so far.

cheech87 This run has been going better than the previous ones so far. I just hope I don't mess it up this week. I've given the plants a little feed with terravera Epsom salt and the Green House Long Flowering Feeding, at an EC of 1.3 and a pH of 6.5. Let's see if I end up frying them or if it gets better. I used the Epsom salt because there are slight yellowing between the veins in the upper area. I hope my assessment was correct and that the problem will be resolved.

cheech87 I'm slowly starting to have problems again, but only a few weeks later. I don't really know why, though. If anyone sees something or has a guess, feel free to give me tips. As I said: EC 1.3, pH 6.5, night temperature 22 °C, daytime temperature max 26 °C, mostly 24 °C. Maybe the plant is a bit light-burned, but otherwise, it's developing well. The hairs are slowly turning brown here and there, and more and more trichomes are appearing. The smell is very sweet, like incense, really very appealing. 😋

cheech87 I didn't quite achieve what I wanted, but whatever. I'll keep growing until I get it right. It went a bit better than last time, but as you can see from the leaves, something went wrong again. Still, the plant is very productive and just keeps growing. The smell is, as always, a dream for me—very sweet, like incense, with a hint of violet syrup aroma.

cheech87 I love this strain, its haze smell is top-notch, woody, sweet, like incense, and a hint of violet syrup—just a dream for me. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to keep it healthy this time; something went wrong again. In the next round with this strain, I will use Biotabs. But it went significantly better than last time. The buds are now noticeably heavier and denser.

cheech87 So, she looks terrible again, but the buds are very good and firm, full of oily, but rather small trichomes. This time she is completely different from last time. The smell is definitely stronger, a mix of incense, sweet honey, and a hint of violet syrup, with a slight sandalwood note. I'm really looking forward to the result! I'll give her another 2 to 3 weeks, then she's due. But I'll keep a close eye on the trichomes to see how she develops.

cheech87 Unfortunately, I couldn't do any better with my Panama than last time. It just went down a few weeks later. I really want to learn how to keep it healthy until the end; I haven't quite mastered that yet. But whatever, I'll grow it again next time and try again. Also, I'm going to get a few more seeds of this strain as a backup because the buds are incredibly delicious to me. This time, the structure of the trichomes is different: they're not as big, but they're very close together and extremely oily, not sticky. This gives the buds a silvery shimmer. The smell is simply delicious to me, a mix of sweet sandalwood and intense haze incense aroma. Oily trichomes often indicate a strong effect and high terpene content, which makes the smell and taste incredibly intense. I'm really looking forward to enjoying this strain again because my stash is slowly running out. In the coming months, I will definitely grow it again since the yield was a bit lower this time.

@gottagrowsometime, THANK YOU I hope it works out this time! I love this strain. It delivers a great Sativa high and has a Sativa-like appearance.
