Here we go again! We're on grow number 3 this time with Spliff seeds and Super Skunk as we have had super results with Skunk #1 so why not going deeper into the family tree of Skunk. I have germinated them in the window in Easy Plugs then I've put them into the growbox with some living organics and a little fertilizer mix so get their roots growing. That's what they need to do first. When they've created good roots they can grow above without falling down at a little wind breeze. The fan is already running at lowest speed to get some air movement. I watered manually for now. When they are bigger I will turn on the automatic watering system. Stay tuned for week 2 and some more pictures and information. 🙌😎🙏 The Setup: 1m² Growbox 4x Super Skunk from Spliff Seeds 4x Sanlight S2W 4 x 5l Airpots filled with approx 20l Canna Cocos Green Buzz Liquids Professional fertilizer set Update: Gave them more water, this time with some Organic Grow Liquid. Really excited about this grow! 🙂

Not much going on this week except some little problems that needed to get fixed. Either the plants suffer from windburn or they suffer from Calmag deficiency. I changed the direction of the fan and added a little Calmag. We need to check back the next days. Put them closer to the lamps. Before 45cm - 20cm after.

After overwatering and overfeeding with some more mold I decided to repot them. The substrate is new and saves more water than the last one which led to the overwatering. I gave them water twice this week, about 1,5l per plant. I dropped the fertilizer because it's been too much. More fertilizer does not mean faster growth automatically. Something I learned again now. When you are using new fertilizer start with less than they recommend! I am giving my best to get these plant fixed again. The trunks are very stable that's why I keep having hope. By the way they are at least 2 weeks behind schedule (compared to my Skunk #1 grow). Well I just have to wait and give them love and feedings and I hope they will be fine 😎 No EC measurements made this week, only added fertilizer as said in the manual and I removed the infected leafes. Keep your thumbs pressed.

Hey guys, I need serious advice. I overfed them with water and fertilizer in the beginning. They grow very slow and do have some rusty spots on 'em, please look at the pictures. What is wrong and what can I do against it? Is it mold? Can I kill the mold?

It looks for me like a cal/mg and a little nitrogen deficit. You should add some cal mg to your feeding when you are growing with coco. Always check your ph, a wrong ph will lead to an nutrients lock out. A good Ph for coco is about 5.8. And always wait till your soil is really dry befor watering again. I Best wishes ✌️

This ain't no abandoned diary, yo! Last week I did a lot of thinking, watching, analyzing and trying which did at least for now help. I changed the fertilizer series because one try pushed the plants so much that I just HAD TO. Sorry GBL for now you will be on schedule in the next grow! Promised! The plants start to look better and the growth is faster again but still I find some rusty spots on the leafes. That's why I got some Calmag from Atami which will be tried. I will keep you updated guys'n'girlz!

This week I have repotted them plants into new 9l airpots. The root system was pretty amazing! Check the pictures for it! No new lamp though coz of lack of money. You know the struggle. Next week they will be sent into flowering stage. But before I have to take some more clones. The ones I took were pretty amazing! It was pretty hard cutting them as the stems were so thick! Excited about next week! 😎 EC Runoff 1.8

This week I defoliated them plants. Also I dropped the nutrient mix over some leafes and you can see that it must have been veeeeeery salty. And I cut some clones but I have been very inaccurate. I cut them clones with a not so sharp scissors. Next time I will use a razorblade again. Today I flushed the coco with Canna Flush and we‘re in flower mode since today.

This week I have flushed them with Canna Flush and pure tap-water. Today I have added the nutrients again. When the EC was 3.3 I decided to lower it to 2.2 They have some problems, I think it‘s Calcium again. But they‘ve been flushed, so... But as they are given nutrients again they shall look better next week. The smell is great and I‘m really exited about the flowers that will appear in a while.

Alright guys, here we are on week 2 with Super Skunk that are very tough and smell so extremely that I had to get new Ona to remove the skunky smell out of the room. I turned them plants a little bit around and also I have put the tallest plant in the back of the growbox. But I have some problems again. The EC is very high, I have noticed that but as I was giving them their nutes manually I gave nutes, then water again (EC runoff 1.8), then I gave them nutes again, next step should be water again. The smell is really good but the burned spots on the leafes are driving me crazy! Any advice? I wanna get a dehumidifier to get the humidity more down. Highest point was 79%, lowest 59%

Help guys! What is wrong this time? Is it the high EC? I was giving Calmag to prevent any problems but I am using tap water. I water them manually, nutes - no nutes - nutes - no nutes and so on. Any advice how to get a decent outcome this time? Not every leaf has this problem

Your EC is likely too high based on what I see . If you are feeding with Calmag and your still showing signs of cal mag problems its because your feeding too much and its resulting in a lock out preventing your plant from absorbing nutrients it needs . Your on the right path for the feeding schedule by not feeding it with nutrients every single time but I would add one more PH corrected watering in between the nurtrient watering's so it looks like : water , water , nutrient water , water ,water nutrient water and so on . This will do a few things for your firstly it will allow your medium to be "flushed" removing all the salts from your root zone enabling the plant to start absorbing nutrients again secondly it will make your plant absorb most of whats in the medium before you add new nutrients to the medium preventing lock outs like you have now as well as nutrient burns . Once you do this I would suggest adding 2ML / L of Calmag to your nutrient solution and resume the feeding programme . Your leaves will slow down on the yellowing and come back to that nice lush green we all know and love . The leaves that are really damaged will NOT come back to normal I advise you trim these leaves away to prevent any unwanted pests from coming to make themselves a nice home . I also find that your PH range is abit low for a soiless set up I would try and have it around 6.0 but as it looks its working for you BUT this may also be the cause of the lock outs as well , PH plays an important part in nutrient uptake for your plants so I always advise going in the ranges that the medium you are using calls for in your case (6.0 - 6.3) a hydroponics system will have it set at (5.5 - 5.8) and a soil set up will be at (6.5 - 6.8) I hope this information helps shed some light into your grow and gives you the information required to get your plants back to rocking and rolling. -Happy Growing!

New week, new photos, new EC measuring instrument from BlueLab (high recommendation!) and good growing plants 🌱 The EC is 1.4 now ph 5.6 As I have problems with high humidity (max 84%) I ordered a dehumidifier that will arrive next week. Photos were taken with flash that’s why they look a little different. Cu next week!

Hi guys and welcome back to week 12 😉 The plants look pretty good but the smell is even greater! The new dehumidifier does its work and the humidity is much lower now. Before the max was 79%. Now max is 63%. And if you just could smell it!!! You would fall in love immediately 😉 I just let the pictures speak for themselves ^^

Yo guys and girls, this is week 13! In the beginning I did not think they will make it to be honest and this is where we are now! 😍 The plants look very good and healthy. What did I do this week? Well I removed some older leafes and dead leafes from the plants. The demhumidifier does its work even though last night the humidity has reached 70% again which is absolutely too high. But I cannot help it I can't do anything else for my little babies than I did. I am wondering about their strenght. At this point no branch needs assistance and can hold its own weight. Probably the branches will grow even more and gain density. But it's olso possible that something I did to them helped gaining some strenght. To be honest I have never had such thick branches. Good quality! One of the plants is a little smaller than the rest but they are sisters (seeds) NOT twins (clones). So it's normal that each plant has its own character and grow style. 😤 The smell is awesome! Everytime I open the box there's a SKUNKPLOSION!!!! I am happy that it is a good sweet flowery smell not an aweful one 😅 Stay tuned for the last (planned) two weeks 😇

Week 14 and the plants still looking good. Two more weeks incoming until harvest. I‘m not 100% sure if I did everything right because in the end (last 10 days) I did not give them Coco A&B but only the flower fertilizers. If you have any advice for me (any other than flushing now) please don’t hesitate to write a comment. I personally think it will be a really good outcome. The humidity went down to 56% max, 46%. EC in is 0.9; out is 1.6. I am lowering the fertilizers in the tank by replacing it with pure tap water. In a few days I will flush with Canna Flush and afterwards with tap water again (no recirculating then, as it is now). So stay tuned and show some love ❤️

Welcome to the pre final week. They harvest is planned in about two weeks. The plants are doing well and the smell finally killed the filter which has to be replaced in the next grow. The plants are also sticky and each time I touch them I smell like a own plant by myself. I like it but it’s tough, you know. I flush them now with a really low EC (0.7; tap water is 0.6) and remove all the dead leafes. Enjoy the pictures and please leave a comment if you like it or have some tipps & tricks for me.

So this strain is really cool! I am very happy when I inhale it and I feel like, yeah just good. I can really recommend this strain to anyone of you. It has been pretty easy growing them if you don't overwater and overfeed them, like I did, you will be surely ready in 12 weeks. The taste is really pure. I like these citrus aromas and the smell of fresh fruit. And it's really heavy guys! To be honest I did not expect this :-) But I am happily suprised how it turned out and would like to thank everyone for looking, loving and helping with this grow! 😍😎

Congratulations! Are you happy with your Mighty? I also own one, but honestly even after some months I still like smoking a lot better. So much better taste 😕
Hilkes_Herbs
Hilkes_Herbscommented6 years ago
@Buddha2, as a nonsmoker I only vaporize. When I started smoking weed some years ago I tried to smoke joints but the smoke was too hot for my lungs. Then I changed to bongs which also tasted strange to me and then I found out about vaporizing. Since then I would only vaporize. I don’t like the taste of burned tobacco or weed. Burned weed taste all the same to me.
