Day 21: Some more LST going on and watering day. One LSD plant is still to short to start training her. Hopefully she’ll get a kick after nutes feed:) Day 24: I keep training the girls and want all the branches to be the same height. I haven’t been doing LST correctly last grow, this time I feel very confident however and plants are getting really bushy last few days. One LSD is still quite small compared to other girls but she looks promising. Gave them nutes today and average dose of power roots.

Grow Questions

Hi, 3 plants look really healthy and they grow as expected. However one LSD-25 plant seems really weird. I gave nutriens just twice, other waterings were done using tap water with controlled pH. Could it be connected to hight temperature or is there maybe a problem with genetics?

Most likely just a different pheno as your temps are not too high. But I would recommend running your lights for at least 20 hours a day throughout the whole grow instead of 18. Autoflowers love more light!

I have an issue with one of the Cheese Auto plant since she’s barely showing singns of flowering. She is growing vigorously but it seems to stop developing flowers. Should I leave her in then or it is already way to late for an auto flower? Appreciate your help🙏

By the looks of it all your plants are flowering even your cheese plant . What I can suggest is that you lower you lights to 12-12 you dont have to because they are auto flower plants but if you do so you might notice a good change in result . Firstly plants break , being that these plants are in flower and your working them super hard its stressing them out . Plants use the "night" cycle as there break for a few things photosynth , breathing and a few others but the main 2 important ones are photo synthesis and breathing . The photon's the plant collects during the day cycle from the sun / HID / LED is stored until the night cycle for the most part . So to be beaming them 18 hours a day in flower is a bit much but like I said its preference . At the end of the day you gotta think its still a plant and its going to behave as such , so always try to emulate the seasons as best you can . As it stands your grow is doing well and your going to get a good harvest reguardless . I hope this information helps shed some light into your grow ! -Happy Growing!

Hi, one plant is almost ready for a harvest, the second cheese has started flowering properly a week ago. Is there any explanation why is that happening? Would the plant develop normally at the end? She is three is also three times bigger. Both seeds were germinated the same time

Hi Reindeer! Autoflowers are hybrids from a Ruderalis and a Photoperiods strains, offsprings will show characteristic from those two in any percentage, meaning you could get one who has only 10% Ruderalis in her and 90% photoperiod....Needing 12/12 to flower, others will have 60% Ruderalis and 40% Photo and that one will develop a lot more before she has enough flowering hormones in her to start packing those buds. It seems your last auto Cheese is one of those, she is a super Auto, a big auto genotype, it will take at least 7 weeks to finish her but you will have a lot more buds!!! If she is really slow to flower you can change light settings to 12/12. Good luck!

I know nothing about autos, so I ask of growdiaries’ family of experts this question, Is a low RH, 32% here, ok at three weeks because she’s auto? Photos want more airborne moisture in veg. VPD theory bears out with photos @@@@@Athos @CRiSPrGrow @ExperimentGreen @FairyBudmother @Teamdirtbag2 @Mrs_Larimar @Stick

@growdoctordc, i love the areas that have the warmth all year...but me and humidity don't get along, I only want to have to dry my hair once each morning. But podcast. It's the kisorganics.com cannabis cultivation and science podcast. There's one guy on there who swears by keeping your vpd in check and keeping humidity pretty high. Maybe he was saying its more the fact of having your grow space reach "dew point" at darkness that'll waken pm and botrytis. That if you have a drastic shift in either temperature or humidity once day/lights go out that really triggers the spores to get active. So if you can keep from having any drastic changes you'll usually be alright. However he does mention that some plants are carrying the pm gene and it'll be much more likely to pop out if so.

@Experimentgreen wrote “ i know nothing about anything” HILARIOUS! What podcast? I’ve accompanied stateside friends to the Carib multiple times. Rarely is there a jetway, so you walk directly from the cool, dry air of the cabin into the very warm, moist air of the Caribbean. It hits them like a stiff pillow in the face, and they nearly fall backwards. I love the humidity, the punishing brilliance of the sun, the aroma of decay and new growth, and I think, “Ahhhh. Home”. Swampy may be strain dependent, but they all like wet early. We avoid high RH in flower to avoid mold & mildew. A SE Asian strain would do well swampy. Breed. Spread seeds. Grow it wild wherever you live. Cannabis adapts to EVERY condition
