Plants were watered on day 2 of week 6, as follows:
Thin Mint Jr. (P1): 3/4 gallon water, pH: 6.29, Height: 10 1/4 in.
Thin Mint Sr (P2): 3/4 gallon water, pH: 6.9 (slightly high), Height: 10 in. - has some leaf discoloration indicating likely nutrient deficiency (should respond after nutrient feeding)
Lucy (P3): 3/4 gallon water, pH: 6.26, Height: 14 in.
Herbert (P4): 1 1/4 gallon water, pH: 5.27 (slight drop from last week and slightly low), Height: 12 1/2 in.
Plants were watered again on day 6 of week 6, as follows:
Thin Mint Jr. (P1): 3/4 gallon water, pH: 6.56
Thin Mint Sr (P2): 3/4 gallon water, pH: 6.56 (Notes: leaf discoloration; needs nutrient feeding; nutrient has been ordered and waiting for it to arrive - plant should be OK temporarily)
Lucy (P3): 3/4 gallon water, pH: 6.18
Herbert (P4): 3/4 gallon water, pH: 5.3 (continues to be slightly low but plant appearance is robust and healthy so not overly concerned; will keep an eye on this)
***Usually I like to water each plant with the same amount of water, to keep things consistent, but P4 (Herbert) wasn't having sufficient runoff water until 1 1/4 gallons, so just had to adjust for the one plant this week.
***We are fluctuating a bit with some nutrient deficiencies and possible difficulty adjusting to the brighter light intensity (currently at 70% intensity). Growth has been good and nutrient deficiencies haven't been overly worrying, as plants seem to be responding well to their feedings.
***This week, switched to using Fox Farm Big Bloom as the nutrient of choice. Using general feedings, which are 4 Tablespoons/gallon of water. (Analysis: 0.50% Available Phosphate (P2O5), 0.70% Soluble Potash (K2O), and 0.10% Iron (Fe).
