Introduction - Week 13 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 9953.74, Wow. Never quite understood the term ‘trim jail’ until this week. Pretty much what I thought would take a single day took an entire week to accomplish. Took a total of 6 days to fully trim this harvest. Despite the longer than expected trimming, was completely surprised and am utterly stoked on the final yield! By far my largest harvest yet! As for the veg tent, aside from the usual waterings, didn’t do much. This is the final entry for this grow log, but the next log has already begun! Onwards Ensign! Engage! Trim day! --- It’s been 14 days of drying. --- Time to start trimming process! --- As always, using a trim tray along with a pair of trimmers to hand trim each bud. Let’s go!! - [13:24]: Starting with #4, --- Using a pair of trimmers, --- Gently clipped and trimmed each bud before placing them into a mason jar. ------ [a few hours later..] - [17:06]: Wow! --- Got a bunch trimmed, but now realizing that this is going to take a while. --- Going to take a break and will trim more later. --- This is probably going to take more than one day. - [17:08]: Night check on the 3x3 veg tent. --- Mothers are vegging along nicely! --- The #4 pheno is looking good too! Was getting worried but she seems to be finally vegging and drinking up water. --- Both seedlings are looking green! Now both side vents are open. - [18:44]: Okay! Back to the trimming! --- Using a pair of trimmers, --- Started trimming the #4 pheno. ------ [a few hours later..] - [23:45]: Done! --- With one plant. --- Weighed the #4 pheno: ------ Trimmed weight: 116.5g (4.1oz) --- Wow! Mothers are thriving and looking great! --- Gorilla Goat seedlings are looking good as well! --- Checked the propagation dome and growth is looking good! Again, there are a few burnt tips, but overall leaf growth is still green! - [20:45]: Took the total weight of the Gorilla Goat #2 pheno. --- She weighed 234.7g --- It’s been 9 days since her last watering. --- Time to water! --- While on a scale, --- Gently misted her straw mulch with distilled water. --- Tried to keep the top growth dry. --- Misted 5-10 sprays. Growth is still green and also starting to perk up nice! - [20:44]: Took the total weight of the Gorilla Goat #2 pheno. --- She weighed 234.2g --- It’s been 10 days since her last watering. --- Time to water! --- While on a scale, --- Gently misted her straw mulch with distilled water. --- Tried to keep the top growth dry. --- Misted 5-10 sprays. Completely crushed all of my previous harvests! --- Most definitely a personal record for sure! --- Also considering this was one of my shorter grow cycles, I’m overly hyped over the final yield! --- Perpetual is the way to grow! --- Although wow, did not expect the trim to take this long.. But still got it all done! --- A bit behind now, but gotta keep growing on! --- Ending this log now, but have already started the next log! --- The next log will continue on this same perpetual grow, but the focus will be more on the Gorilla Goat ladies from Irie Genetics! Started the seed germination about 12 days ago so going to start the log in week 3 of veg. --- Of course will also will be growing the two Garlic Budder clones (Humboldt Seeds) to make the next log another 4-plant flower cycle. --- Already prepped and am ready to grow in an even larger pot. Upgrading one of the 5-gallon pots and going straight to a 20-gallon! So the next cycle be a one 20-gallon and three 5-gallon pot grow! --- Also will be my first automated watering cycle (for the 20-gallon). --- Wow time flies at warp speed, --- Have done quite a bit over the past few weeks, but there’s always more to do! --- Anyways, --- Until the next log (next week), --- LLAP.
