What's up everybody! For this grow, i will be growing Blue gelato 41 by barneys farm, along with the Gorilla zkittelz.
I will be growing in a 32x32 tent, and i will attempt to scrog them. I will probably be switching to an organic food regiment in a couple of weeks, probably Biotabs because of their easy of use.
My lights are a viparspectra 300w LED (130 real watts), along with a mastergrow 1000W Dimmable sun II (130 real watts).
I haven't fed the plants, only ph'ed water with some rooting hormones and calmag have been added.
I will feed for the first time tommorow.
Foliar fed with a homemade aloe vera spray this week. The leaves seem a bit droopy, I think this will get better since I found a solution to my temperature problem. Next week i will be switching to an organic food regiment. Before switching i'll flush them thoroughly with ph'ed water. The leaves seem to be indica dominant. Interesting, because my gorilla zkittelz pheno seems to have more sativa dominant genetics.
Plants were transplanted about 5 days ago. I flushed them with ph'ed water, then fed them a compost tea, and transplanted a couple of days later.
I should have transplanted earlier because the plants where getting rootbound, which is why they were drooping.
I transplanted into 15 l autopots with clay pebbles on the bottom, topped of with an amended coco mix. (coco, perlite, potting soil, worm castings, 2 biotabs, mycorihza)
The blue gelato in particular has had a couple of very rough weeks. Lot's of stress (transplanting, topping, overwatering, root bound) but it seems like she's starting to bounce back! I hope the tops will resume growing so that i can continue traning.
I have been watering with seaweed and aloe vera (biobizz), as well as foliar feeding.
See you next week!
This plant is starting to take off! She rooted well i think, I gave her some fish-mix this week to give her some much needed nitrogen. From now on it's only water, and i'll hook them up to the autopot system next week. Next week i'm starting LST!
Plant is doing great! Both plants are hooked up to the reservoir so from now on it's cruisecontrol.
My reservoir is just filled with unph'ed tap water. Mine come's out at around 8.
I foliar fed every day with some liquid seaweed.
Lst was adjusted as the plant is growing, i'll probably flip the switch next week.
Cruise control. This plant is not growing as fast as her sister, a little bit annoying since I think she also won't stretch as much.
Lollipopped her and did some much needed defoliation since her node spacing is crazy close.
I noticed a problem with my timer. During lights off the light was still on (extremely dim, like the moon), so i am using a better timer now which should fix this issue. Both plants are healthy, the gelato is so incredibly bushy, training it is almost impossible.
Lots of defoliation this week! This plants is so bushy it's not even funny how much leaves i need to pull in order to provide the budsites with enough light. Since the switch to 12/12, the stems are luckily stretching a bit.
