Hello all,
It’s been a typical week one so far. The white widow is coming along nice. The Bubba Kush is a bit slower at this point but it’s early in the game so there is plenty of time to catch up.
The White Widow is a canuk seed and the Bubba Kush is a Spectrum Cannabis seed. Both are Autos. Most of the action at this point is at the root level so I’ll post more pictures when things get more exciting.

Week two and it’s down to just the White Widow. Had some issues and lost the Bubba Kush :-(. But the show must go on. Overall things are good although the growth has been a bit slow. The coco coir rooting plugs are stopping the plants from rooting properly so I will not be using them in the future.
She should start to really take off soon and the nutes will start at the next watering :-)
Week three and the growth is really starting to pick up. Started out light on the nutrients and there isnt any signs of nutrient burn so I will up the dose. She is looking nice and green and loving life!! I’m guessing some stretching is in store in the next few weeks.

I feel like she got off to a slow start but she seems to be coming along nicely now. Only have a few grows under my belt so I don’t have much to compare to.
The plant is growing good , looking healthy with a nice green colour but I can see on the pictures that your medium looks dry so keep an eyes on it because it can slow your grow especialy in coco as when the medium is dry the roots are also drying. Your relative humidity is too low with 40% instead of 70/60 at that stage And it can slow your grow and dry your medium quicker 😊✌️🏼
It’s week 4 for this White Widow auto. She has really started to take off this week. I am trying some LST for the first time and it seems to be going well so far.
Pistils are starting to pop up all over her now so the exciting part is getting closer!!
She is now getting root stim, grow big and floranectar every other watering. Bloom nutrients will start soon.
Hi @AutoCrazy! Don't overdo. It's really easy to stunt autos, even with the simplest LST techniques. Just try to slowly accompany the stems out of the plant's center, in order to open up its shape and increase light penetration and air circulation. Also, you should not try doing it after a watering/feeding, they tend to be very resistant when they've just been watered, you will increase the risk to break/split a stem. It's a game of patience and daily tiny adjustments. This is why I usually do it with the help of strings, they are easy to adjust and don't harm the plants. Week 5 has been an exciting week. Tons of growth and flowering has started 🤩. I have had to keep tying her down every couple of days! She looks really nice and green at the moment!
I am watering every 3 days but I may have to move to 2 as she seems to dry out pretty quickly now.
I am feeding every other watering (1.5L) with:
1 ml grow big per litre
1 ml Tiger Bloom per
1 ml floranectar per litre
1 ml of rezin per litre
And every other watering she gets just 7ml per litre of Big Bloom.
Week six for this White Widow auto. Week 6 has been a mildly stressful week. I have discovered multiple signs of to much nitrogen. The stems and side branches are turning red/purple (some leaves had the claw). I flused once already but I am going to do one more next watering and see how she reacts. Other then that issue she is still gaining lots of bud sites and the leaves are still flying out so the issue should be easy to resolve. (Fingers crossed).
What would a grow be without a little drama.
Week 7
It’s been a pretty good week. The buds are starting to swell a bit and she is frosting up nicely. I am starting to see some yellowing leaves which looks to me like she’s feeding of them (at least that’s what it looks like to me). Doesn’t look like it’s anything to worry about at this point as it’s only 3-4 fan leaves.
The buds should really start to swell in the next few weeks! She is smelling really good at this point.
If youre reading this and see something I am missing feel free to give tips.
Week 8 has been a good week! The buds are fattening up nicely and they are turning a nice purple/red colour which is a bit of a surprise since I’ve grown this strain before and never had this occur. She has a beautiful pungent smell now and absolutely stinks the room up when I turn the exhaust off to water her.
She is being flushed now as the trichomes are all milky with a few Amber here and there. She has finished way quicker then I expected, kind of caught me off guard!. I am using flawless finish to speed up the flush as she may be done by as soon as this weekend 😎👌. She is eating through her fan leaves fast!!
