Skully Hello, my dear grow friends,
Today, I’m starting my new grow, where I’ll be trying out the Mimosa strain from Blimburn Seeds. It’s a pure Sativa strain with THC levels above 30%.
As usual, I’ve mixed the soil with 80% LightMix from BioBizz, 5% perlite, and 15% UGRO Rhyzea, and added 4g/l BioGrow, along with a handful of Dynamyco. I’ll be watering with rainwater, occasionally mixed with a small amount of CalMag to prevent any deficiencies.

Skully Hey,
As noticed last week, some of the leaves look a bit unusual, something I haven’t seen before. I’ll keep an eye on it. Other than that, everything looks good. I had a few thrips in the tent, so I set up yellow sticky traps. I’m watering every few days when the substrate looks dry.

Skully Today, I started with LST. The Mimosa has grown vigorously and should be able to handle the stress well.

Skully I’m slowly starting to get an idea of why the strain is called Mimosa. After the LST last week, it completely stopped growing for a few days. The side shoots, in particular, didn’t grow at all. It took 4 days before growth was noticeable again. Truly living up to its name. Today, I watered with Enhancer for the first time.

Skully After noticing last week that the stress from LST leads to growth stoppage, I’m now trying to handle the shoots much more carefully and bend them a little several times a day instead of tying them down radically all at once. This seems to be paying off. She also doesn’t seem to like the tent being opened, and it’s clear that she grows noticeably better when the tent remains closed.

Skully The tent is now pretty well filled, so I’ll switch to flowering next week and set up a net. Everything looks healthy, but the Mimosa is really not easy to please. There was a slight pH fluctuation of 0.1/0.2 the other day, and bam—two days of no growth…

Skully Everything is sprouting and thriving. In case you’re wondering why I haven’t defoliated, I was afraid that the stress would lead to even more growth interruptions. Today, I also set up the scrogg net.
Skully The first buds are now visible. The Mimosa looks very interesting.

Skully Everything looks healthy. The Mimosa has been starting to get beautifully frosty over the past few days. I have to say, though, I’ve never had a plant quite like this before. The bud structure looks very unusual to me. I’m curious to see how it develops.

Skully Starting today, I’m trying to bring the humidity down to 55%. The plant looks great, smells terrible, and is getting frostier every day. Everything is on track. I did some defoliation the other day to bring light to the lower branches. The light is set to 75%.

Skully It’s really starting to be fun opening the tent. Every time, the Mimosa is frostier and fatter.
Moin liebe Grow Freunde
Hey, dear grow friends,
So, I really have to say, the results speak for themselves! I’m very satisfied with what I tried after drying. A fruit explosion. I’ve rarely had such intense terpenes in my nose. On the other hand, I’ve never had a strain that was so sensitive during the whole process. It was often difficult to figure out what was going on, why it wasn’t growing or why the leaves were drooping. I think a controller for temperature, humidity, and CO2 would be recommended here.
The buds are rock hard and very sticky. Even after drying, they are still very resinous. Unfortunately, this strain is not suitable for dry sift. The return was very low. However, the rosin from dry sift is of extremely high quality and very tasty. I’ve also noticed that the return from flower rosin (see photo) is actually very good. The quality, of course, can’t be compared to rosin from dry sift. The effect is very euphoric and giggly. A very strong high. -laughing and sinking into the couch-
All in all, a very interesting strain with great effects. But it takes some skill and attention to fully unlock its potential.
Hola, queridos amigos cultivadores,

Skully To dry, I divided the plant into three parts and lightly pre-trimmed it (removing fan leaves), then hung it on hangers in the tent. It dried for 13 days at 62% humidity and 23°C.
@NorthGrows, hey Buddy
In this photoperiod Grow i topdressed the soil when i flipped them into flower. In my Auto grows i tried both. But it’s Not easy to find the sweet spot, because when you See the First signs of flowering the plant is already in Week 2. So mostly i pre mix the Soil with Grow and Bloom.
