I started with 2 beans, 1 died after planting so I started 3 more. Had no issues with 2nd 3 beans so I now have 4 babies, one being 9 days older than her sisters.
I got a Co2 meter and my levels are pretty high I think, averaging around 1000ppm when I'm not in there and spiking to over 2000 when I am. Most likely due to the propane heater in the lung room. It doesn't seem to be bothering the girls so I'm not too concerned just yet. Watered with recharge then a few days later with silica, both at about 6.5 ph, both were well received. Transplanted to 5 gal fabric pots at the end of the week in same soil mix as last transplanting with 12tbsp gaia green 4-4-4/pot.
Topped them all and started training the manifolds, then 4 days later topped them all again. They bounce back within 8 hours after starting training. 4 main stems on each girl now.
Started training the 3rd toppings. Noticing some ugliness on a few of the older leaves which I think is from lack of water. Also some yellowing leaf tips that I think is light burn. Moved light back to 18 inches. Removed all lower growth at the end of this week. Co2 has been lower this week since it's been warm and the heater hasn't been running, more normal levels of 900-1000ppm when I'm not in there.
I fed the girls around mid week with a top dressing of 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 and watered in with recharge. Other than that it was a pretty uneventful week. Planning on flipping next week a couple of days after another defoliation/pruning.
Did some pruning and defoliation at beginning of week 8 then flipped the light a couple of days later. Top dressed with epsom salts, gypsum and rock dust. Noticed some leaf discoloration so checked the soil ph and it was low on all four girls, 5.7-5.9. Added a tbsp of hardwood ash each to the top dressing but had to wait until the end of the week to water it in. Checked ph after watering with 7.6ph well water and the oldest girl is now about where I want her at 6.5 with the other three at about 6, will add another 1/2 tbsp ash at next watering.
This was an easy week. I top dressed with rock dust, epsom salts and gypsum around mid week and watered in with recharge and fishsh!t at 7.0 ph. Soil ph has gotten back up to around 6.5 with the ash I added and they're starting to smell a little. I plan on giving the final feeding next week and should be on auto pilot after that, we'll see.
These girls started the week with a watering with silica and got their last feeding about the middle of this week with a top dressing of Gaia Green. Each pot got 3 tbsp of 4-4-4 and 12 tbsp of 2-8-4 watered in with recharge & fishshit. They're all looking ok with the middle right baby putting on trichomes way more than her sisters.
Another quiet week with two waterings, 1st with recharge and fishshit and the 2nd with silica. The two girls in the back are getting some crispy leaves but the flowers keep growing.
