2/22 - Day 29, performed LST on her today to open up her center and allow the lower bud sites to catch up. LST was shaped into a "+" to reduce twisting of the branches. I used a precision screwdriver to poke small holes in the grow bags near the top to attach coated wire, which was bent as needed to bring the arms down, and open her structure.
2/23 - Day 30, fed her veg nutes again, dropping TerraVega to 8ml/gal. She has responded very well to the LST and is growing quickly. Her lower nodes on the side branches are getting more light and catching up quickly, to help give a nice even canopy in the tent with the other girls.
2/26 - Day 33, performed some defoliation and adjusted LST points as needed. I'm trying to keep them as flat as possible now, because they are gonna go batshit at the flip to 12/12 under HPS. She has barely noticed the LST and defoliation so far, and is continuing to grow vigorously.
2/28 - Day 35, gave her water + Hydroguard, CaliMagic at 2ml/gal ea, with pH adjusted to 5.8. Final runoff was 878 ppm and pH was 6.
Damn she got frosty quickly!๐
I've got a couple of these beans I plan to run this winter, but I was only planning to veg them for 5 or 6 weeks. Do you think that they'll be dwarves if I don't veg them longer?
