Seedsman Description: Wedding Cake S1 is a predominantly indica strain that is a cross between Girl Scout Cookies and Cherry Pie. It can achieve extremely high levels of THC, above 25%!
Indoors Wedding Cake takes about 9 weeks to flower with some decent yields. It is a medium-sized plant that stretches a somewhat in the early stages of flowering and its buds are solid with a sweet, earthy aroma during flowering.
The taste is sweet, earthy and peppery with some detectable vanilla. As stated above, THC levels are very high indeed giving an effect that smokers report as being relaxing, uplifting and euphoric and making them happy and hungry.
Medically this strain is useful for those suffering from depression and stress and also pain relief, insomnia and lack of appetite.

I soaked the seed in water with Bigfoot root stimulator. I then planted directly into soil. In 48 hours it sprouted.
I defoliated a little more completely, and continued training the branches outward. Now I’m just letting them grow upward, until the main colas reach 18 inches. Then I’ll flip to flower. Shouldn’t take long.
I defoliated today and flipped to flower. Each little top is pretty branchy. 😄 I’m hoping for some decent sized tips on a short plant. We’ll see how she stretches.
Well, I think the power outage really hurt my stretch. But I’ll take what I can get. I’ll be defoliating later in the week. Then we should see some flowers.
This week has been fantastic! Buds have swollen and are nearly done! I’ve been giving her nothing but water this week. I’ll harvest at week 9. The aroma coming off of her is unreal! I want to eat it. Sweet, earthy, with a hint of vanilla and pepper.
Harvested at 70 days of flowering. She’s very indica, with a relaxed and happy effect. She smells and tastes incredible. My friend’s have told me so too. Earthy, sweet, and with a distinctive vanilla aftertaste. Like cake.
I’ll be growing this one again. It’s incredible. It would have been even better if its first week of flowering weren’t in the dark and cold. I can see why it’s such a popular strain.

@Puffer_Bill, Thank you! You’re going to love it! I’ve never had a strain that tastes and smelled so strongly of vanilla! Really does smell a bit like cake mix.
That wedding cake looks fire!!!! I have a special strain I just started it's a Vermont strain from dirty boys wedding cake x green crack it's called snow bank and another is wedding cake x strawberry cough which is called la tos boda will be posting updates on them soon can't wait to try that wedding cake has really been making a name for itself lately
I just realised that your medium is soil. So you most prob not worried as much about EC or PH as I believe from research that the soil acts as a buffer etc. Is this correct? And is this your first time growing wedding cake?
@Puffer_Bill, I’m not certain. I’m still pretty new to the game. I’ve only grown in soil, and I haven’t had too many problems with deposits. I just alternate food and water, and it’s worked, so far. But I’m lucky enough to have good water. It is my first time growing wedding cake. I’ve got another going for a friend to grow outdoors. I’m going to take cuttings from it for my own diary.
@Puffer_Bill, No problem. I don’t have an EC meter, at the moment. So I am uncertain as to the numbers. And I started to give only PH’ed water at day 49 of flower. Once she looked like she had two weeks left.
I had some of this baby in my cart- then the next day I went to order and she was out of stock at seedsman. :( still looking forward to how she turns out and smells tho... looking good so far, good luck. 👽👊
