Just constructed my new rdwc system. This will be my second grow ever. First with autoflowers. I killed my first grow(nirvana ice) with a 24 zip harvest off 2-1/2 plants. One was a segregated hermie that i let grow out in a separate room. No seeds so far! I like the layout of this site and hope this will help me stay a little more organized with tracking my grow. This will be 15 lsd25 autos from fastbuds. I'm hoping this turns into an unruly purple garden as i like a challenge. 1/24 today marks the end of my first week with the girls heads above ground. Super impressed with rapid start. Was not expecting footlong roots already. I will dump water tonight and fuck around with my setup a bit.

Girls are looking good. Leaves were starting to fade a bit so i have introduced nutes at 1/8 general hydroponics recommended strength. I was hoping going to a multi site rdwc would help with ph spikes but im still having issues. Hopefully with some nutes in the water it will help even things out. Also started my nutes so low as id like to get these autos off to a good start and i burnt my last crop several times. If i see deficiencies ill dump my water and up their dosage. Would like to see my roots explode with growth this week.

Week three in the books. Im having either a magnesium issue or my ph is spiking when im not home. This is my first time using my rdwc setup and ro water so im just trying to roll with punches. Super impressed with root growth. With out measuring id put them at 20 to 24 inches in length. Im finding them in the totes next door to them which worries me a bit. I hope 1-1/2 pvc is big enough to not get clogged. I upped nute strength from 1/8 to 1/4 strength. Not sure if i should up my calmag from 5ml per gallon to more? Do have a runt in the garden that needs to be pulled which ill chalk up to either genetics or just a mutation from this being an auto.

Wow what a difference a week makes. Plants growth has exploded. Most have tripled in size from last sunday. Average height is around 11" inches. Some are pushing 15". Looks like i have two phenos i can spot so far. Most are bushy and growing wider than they are tall and others are reaching for the sky. Will be nice to see how they fill out in the next couple weeks. No training so far only leaf tucking to encourage side shoots to grow up and form a semi level canopy. Added a ph controller along with an automatic doser to help stabilize my ph. Plants have stopped showing signs of ph issues with new growth. I removed most of the leaves that had turned brown from that issue. All in all im impressed so far, really hoping these girl produce some of that purple sticky icky. I removed my one mutant plant and am on the fence of pulling another runt. I accidentally ripped the roots off of it when it was younger. It has bounced back and is growing but im afraid when these autoflower its just going to be taking up valuable real estate. Side note if your building an rdwc like me you really need to plan for roots to be intertwined. Most buckets have roots from their neighbors and its become impossible for me to move plants without getting caught on another plants roots. I need to add some sort of filter in each bucket to help prevent this as i can see this possibly clogging my plumbing in the near future. Only time will tell.

Nothing but explosive growth this week. Plants have tripled in size from 12 inches to 32 inches. Average size of all plants is around 25". Im having issues controlling water levels inbetween totes. Either my pump is too strong or i called it and my plumbing in between totes is getting clogged with roots. Ill try choking my inlet on my pump to see if i can even everything out. besides that we are off to a great start in flower. Changed nutes to flowering this week. Feeding based off of gh trio week 5 at 1/4 strength.

Extremely satisfied with the "stretch". Some of these girls are towering in at over 40 inches. This is a hardy strain, as ive been chopping roots to unclug my piping in between totes and the girls havent even batted an eye. Did a pretty intensive defoliation of most of the giant fan leaves. Few days later and it looks like i might need a round two. Also removed a bunch of bud sites down low on the plants that would never amount to anything. Overall im very impressed and excited. I had assumed these would stay small being autoflowers but this is not the case. 15 plants have fully filled my 4x8 tent and theres so many bud sites i think ill need to invest into some sort trimmer for harvest time. My mutant plant has even made a turn for the better and quadrupled in size. Upped my nutes to 33% of recommend strength from gh

Still smooth sailing. Very intriguing how the plants are starting to turn purple. Almost like the purple is slowly dripping down the plants and slowly spreading from the inside out. One plant has grown to a staggering 52 inches tall. Ive had to tie it down to keep it from growing into the light. Besides that everything is looking good, im looking forward to watching these buds swell over the next few weeks. Bumped nutes upto 50% strength

Having what i think is a cal mag deficiency which killed me last grow. Upped my calmag by 50 percent. Plants have responded nicely so hopefully back to smooth sailing here on out. Buds are starting to form nicely. looking forward to watching them start swelling up.

Starting to fatten up nicely. Had to tie a few plants up as theyre getting top heavy and starting to fall over. Some of the buds look airy which is undesirable but overall this should be a nice harvest. Really hitting them with pk this week. Looks likes maybe two more weeks and its chopchopchop. Feeding at 1/2 strength off gh chart

But you were able to to it, thats good. My internet is so bad( especially the uploadspeed) i cant upload videos. If you gow wit a lower quality you can upload better, its less datas to transfer. Its just the question if a lower quality is good enough to see proper your plant. In my case its the uploadspeed of my internet connection. Sometimes i have to resize pictures before uploading to make it much faster

Happy Harvest Day!

Harvested half of theses bad girls on week 11. Wrapped up the other half last weekend on week 12. Everything was dried in in jars as of 4/20. Smoked for the first time on 420 bc why the hell not? Overall a very nice high. Very citrusy/berry like flavor. Smells sweet until you throw it in a grinder and then it hits you hard! Couldnt give more than a 7/10 as a majority of the bud is fluffy and very airy. I would chalk this up to my skill level but even the colas turned out a little fluffy. This by no means takes away from the final product but bag appeal is just not there with the airy buds. The colors make up for this some what as they are the darkest purple nugs i have every seen. They are also very frosty as the buds almost have a glisten to them. High is strong and very cerebral. I would reccomend as an anyday smoke as i could see myself doing some projects around the house after smoking or hitting the snacks and then planting myself on the couch. Overall a very beautfiul strain to grow and smoke. 12 weeks from seed is exceptionally fast. Bud structure is not there but i think can be improved from training the plants more and not over crowding the grow room. 2 plants went mutant and that gets a big thumbs down. Thats just wasted real estate in a small grow like mine. I would reccomend growing this a head stash. Looking forward ill be tearing the rdwc down and replacing my totes with square buckets. This will give me both more room to work around and more room to train plants. Next up is some grape walker kush from mephisto genetics!!!!

The Heisenberg Project is clearly a success. Congratulations!! The strain name is unfortunate, as is moreso Green Crack. I prefer we’d keep other drug names out of cannabis. Weed can be strong but never acid trip strong. It’s a mixed message and not a good one when we’re trying to legitimize cannabis for everyday use in society. Calling weed crack is simply ill advised and in poor taste. I think @growdiaries might agree. Hey @Fast_Buds a little help please next time you release seeds. Thanks

@Heisenbergproj, “methamphetagreen” Copyright THAT!
Heisenbergproj
Heisenbergprojcommented6 years ago
@growdoctordc, thank you grow doctor. I think in todays day and age with people becoming more and more accepting of legal weed a name is just a name. It caught my attention which led to my purchase of a bunch of seeds. Theres nothing wrong with naming bud a funny name. We could call it methamphetagreen and it would still just be good ole marijuana. The ball is already rolling towards legalization, sit back and watch the dominoes tumble my friend. That being said big vote tomorrow, if you see nj legalize i think ny and pa will be right behind trying to capitalize on a huge market!

Goddamn your feeding @ 1600PPM ?! Is that not a typo? Really feeding at an ec of 3200? Thats fucking crazy! Im surprised an autoflower can take that amount of nutrients. Damn looks nice but youd wanna be flushing for about 3 weeks with thag much feed right
Heisenbergproj
Heisenbergprojcommented6 years ago
@Growr8zero, thanks bud. Im sure, i ran at 1/4 strength for a majority of the grow and when i started seeing signs of a cal mag deficiency i ramped up to 1/2 strength of what generalhydroponics reccomended. I will say that my water level is auto topped off so after the girls suck some of the mixed elixir up its topped off and diluted. By day four after a water change ppm drops to almost half of whats listed on my weekly updates. Hope this helps. Stay tuned for the next one

Growr8zero
Growr8zerocommented6 years ago
@Heisenbergproj, did you get ppms and ec mixed up in that last comment at all? Cause 1600ppm is an ec of 3.2 and ive never heard of anyone going over an ec of 2.0 and thats already over what most nutes reccomend. ? Just confused cause you say 1600ppm is half what the nutes reccomend so they say feed at 3200ppm which is ec 6.4 !!!! Thats crazy man? Sorry not hating just trying to wrap my head around it, thats all haha goodamn.

@GreasyLuigi, thanks man! Smell is amazing right now very citrusy/lemony. I hope this is the case with the final product. I have atleast three phenotypes in my garden. Majority are bushy with nice fat nugs. Some are purple some are green. One plant is very sativa like in structure (52 inches tall)and has airy/fluffy looking nugs. I hope they bulk up or the plant will be a disappointment. All together i think youll be happy if you grew some

What a great Project!! How do change water from reservoir? How often? There are a lot of boxes!!!
Heisenbergproj
Heisenbergprojcommented6 years ago
@Psilocubensis, i had 15-5 gallon totes in a 4x8 tent. Another 5 gallon tote outside then ten for mixing nutes and draining and adding water. Please dont use totes, i hate them and knew i didnt want to use them but cheaped out. I ripped these all out and tossed them and got some 5 gallon square buckets. Much better imo. Check out my new journal to see the difference.
