Damonkey Part 2 of Barneyโs Farmโs packageโ๏ธ๐ป๐คคโ๏ธ๐ป, will run alongside Phantom OG
So all four seeds popped and are now under light beginning on their path to Dank. Iโm always fairly worried at this stage if the little gals are gonna make it or not, i generally donโt have any problems but always have the fear๐ ahhhh the pains of parenting.
Will begin a very weak nute regime in about 4-5 days more. That being week one of a nute schedule, Iโll start week 2 of the diary as I switch up to the second week of the nute schedule just so I donโt confuse myself really. So week 1 is a really long week, especially if we include germination๐ณ

Damonkey Was gonna move to week 2 later but I guess thereโs too much going on and changing for me to keep the same week cooking. So, hereโs week 2. The seedlings are about 10 days old now and are receiving a weak nutrient mix. So far so good. Healthy looking and starting to gain quickly. Iโll be running Advance Nutrients this time with Hydrotops Bactivator/Triple F/Top Heavy Crop. New light arrives tomorrow and my tent is almost free to receive these beauties.

Damonkey Progress is better than expected all the girls seem to be doing well a few showing a little more vigorous growth than the others but as said all seem happy. The stems do seem to be thickening quite quickly which is nice, hopefully with the Bactivator and the Voodoo are getting to work on developing a decent root zone.

Damonkey So into the 4th week and into the flower tent to finish off veg. Everything looking better than good๐ฌ All plants seem to be happy and have coped well with the environmental change. Theyโll continue to veg in here for a week minimum, Iโll re-pot them and possibly switch to 12/12 at the end of this week. Iโm so impressed with the Hydrotops Bactivator, really does seem to be giving my plants a big boost at the start. I havenโt seen the roots yet, well just those that have made it through the bottom of the pots and they look healthy and fat. The places Iโm seeing differences seem to be in the stems. Itโs a bit like a Popeye thing if you know what I mean. They kinda come out of the ground normally then really start bulging out, muscles a flex man!๐๐ this Iโve noticed running through both OS and Phantom. Iโm really excited about this grow. There are a lot of problems Iโve been just ploughing on with hanging over my head however it looks like I might now have control of these variables. In short the environment really rocks in comparison to what Iโve had to grow in previously.
Update - the plants were hit with their first shot of Hydrotops โTHCโ. Will receive this one or two times per week until the second week of flower. Then will be hit with the third in the trio, Triple F. Bactivator is ongoing from week one of veg until week 8 of flower, once per week.
Update- have started boosting the light to give extra motivation to the girls. Just switching on the flower boost for the last half of the light period each day. Iโll get to check the root zones in a couple of days when I repot and think about flipping to 12/12

Damonkey So repot done and all plants now find themselves with more room and a better portion of the light pie. 2 Orange Sherbert are basking below a platinum P.900 LED and two below a Gavita DE 6/750 (theyโre only receiving 600W from that one at the moment). The second of the Hydrotops trio have been added too and Iโm thinking about switching the light regime any time now, will probably step it down gradually so by week 6 theyโre running on 12/12.
Update...Iโm gradually changing my light schedule as afore mentioned and indeed the running will be 12/12 by the time week 6 hits. Both sets are looking equally as healthy and at the moment no big difference between either those under Led or those under hps. All the plants seem to have slowed down their vertical growth and are pushing out a bit. Hopefully by now the roots will have started to reach out and fill the fresh new soil down below. Iโm hoping Iโll see flowers sooner than I have in the past, sometimes taken me upto three weeks after changing the light schedule to see any signs of flowering๐ค.

Damonkey So plants starting to thicken out and prepare for flower. Iโve been pinching and bending a few tops through the week , seems to be doing the trick the canopy at the moment is fairly even still not really much difference between the LED and HPS, Iโll check properly with my glasses on this week ๐ณ๐ค๐ damn these lights, oh these eyes๐ฉ๐ฉ๐๐. Running on 12/12 light cycle now. My biggest concern is the drop in temperature during the night sometimes itโs as low as 15 degrees.

Damonkey First signs of flower appear so Iโve started with the blooming nute schedule.
Well, kinda half way through the adventure and there are now observable differences between the girls below the led and those beneath the hps. The ones grown below the hps are all looking super healthy and big, bigger than the others, kind of stronger looking than the others too, growth is vigorous upwards and out. The ones beneath led although a little shorter than the hps grown, are much bushier, the distance between nodes is shorter than the others. They (the led grown) also seem to be maturing at a slightly advanced rate. All in all Iโm very happy with the grow so far. The Orange Sherbert is starting to give off aromas, a very dank hashy smell to the stems. THe stems are very thick and strong looking so too the branching. Iโm looking forward to the next few weeks watching how they develop. My environment also seems to be under control, probably for the first time in my grow life๐ณ๐ฅ๐. Humidity steadily drifts between 38-50. However, I am expecting a slight change with the humidity as Iโve just stepped up the hps light to 750W, it should I hope take the humidity down a little possibly holding it between 35 and 40. Lights on temp around 27C, lights out temp usually between 16-20C. In the past I always relied on passive intake of air into my room, the source of air wasnโt suitable to provide for my grow and a lot of it was recycled from the tent๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ. However, now air is fed from my garden with a little helpmeani g a good fresh supply of air constantly. I also installed a Tornado acoustic box fan at the beginning of the grow and that really is my saving grace, what a humidity and heat shifter it is๐๐ love dat box. So anyway itโs the best Iโve had it, it will always be improved upon but for now, Iโm happy with my little green templeโ๏ธ๐ป๐ฌโ๏ธ๐ป
Update - so definite difference between the thickness of stems between LED and HPS, across both strains such that the ones growing below LED have almost twice the girth of those below HPS.
Still looking healthy and seem to have taken to their new menu. My grow is definitely moving faster Than it has in the past or it seems that way but alas I am a smoker and can sometimes exaggerate or imagine scenarios were a certain way when the reality is far from that. Anyway I mention this as itโs one of the points made by Hydrotops in their claims of their products. They do say that the three root additives will help to mature plants at a faster rate and quicken the race through the flowering period. Iโm sticking with them, I do believe theyโre doing exactly as advertised. So for me a great product. But hey I am using AN stuff as well and with that Iโm super happy too. Everything does just look so vibrant in there and the growth is so vigorous and observable, Iโm so excited everyday as it comes to lights on so I can check on new development,
First hiccup but only small, a few leaves on the tallest plant were slightly burned I think by being too close to the light, it makes sense itโs for that reason because of their placement on the plant and it only being the tallest plant, all others seem fine.

Damonkey Things ok.......๐ณ. Nah as soon as I think I gotta hold of something it plays around with me. The grow is going well and the plants are mostly showing a great fast rate of growth. Flower site formation is rapid and covers the whole canopy and below. But alas the temperature she rises๐ฉ๐ฉ. Last night caught the temp at 32 C. Gorilla growin ainโt always bananas๐ณ I can vent it quicker and keep the temp a little lower but the noise level is just too high. Here comes more expense๐ฉ๐.
Update- last day week 2 of flower..... everything looking great one plant a little slow in developing but rest good. LED are still outstripping HPS in the race for mature buds. I canโt wait to try the herb that comes from the plants that have exposure to both kinds of light. Iโve added a pure CO2 spray dispenser in the tent also. Itโs from Airbomz. Gives them a quick blast hourly to supplement the exhale bag. This is just a temporary fix for rise in temp Iโm floating on and just above 30C during lights on, hopefully the CO2 level in the room should aliw the plants to carry on growing well in s slightly higher temperature.

Damonkey So starting the 3rd week of flower. All but one plant speeding ahead towards dank. The lights below LED continue at a fast pace, I think itโs the most pistils Iโve seen firing out all over place this early. However one of the OS below the HPS isnโt feeling this groove and is developing at a slower rate. The plants that are being hit by both lights are gonna be fat!!!!! The forming buds are coming together quickly and big, they look swollen before theyโve swollen if ya know what I mean.๐ค๐ I love week 3 of flower its where I always hit my plants with Hydrotops Triple F. Itโs not a new product Iโm using however I am using it in conjunction with two of their other products this time which is supposed to be the ideal way to benefit the plants when using Triple F. Development has seemed quicker during this grow especially from the period of switching the light cycle up to now. Iโm happy. Temperature still a problem though a bit.
Looking awesome going through week 3. But one plant is so much slower than the rest, I think she stretched a little too much when it was time. It still looks very strong and is covered with flower sites but theyโre just not developing at a rate anything like her sisters flowers. The phantom OG in there with them are super fast. Maybe thatโs making the Orange seem slower to me too๐ค๐ all looking great in there anyway and am loving every moment I get to get in there with my girls.
Very productive 3rd week 3 out of 4 growing at an accelerated rate, the 4th is looking fine too, well looking great actually but a lot slower with flower development.

Damonkey Great progress being made at a really fast rate. The orange sherbert are starting to catch up with the POG and the buds look like theyโre gonna be big and fat. All OS fairly short bar one, all developing at breakneck speed bar one, but all looking great and like theyโll produce gold. Barneys Farm truly do have some great genetics going on, Iโve been so pleased watching every strain Iโve grown from them. In the past Iโve noticed a similar vigour with cookies kush and with gorilla Zkittlez. Anyhow, all moving nicely in the tent, if only it reflected on life in general๐ฃ๐
Really looking forward to tasting these girls now. In week 4 theyโve shown the kind of size theyโre gonna reach, I think Iโm doing better than previous grows but I kind of always think that or at least hope it and alas again I am a smoker and am prone to over exaggeration especially when comparing two ladies, you gotta be careful not to offend either one ya kna!๐๐ฌ

Damonkey Still one orange Sherbert lags behind the rest in the race, Iโm hoping it will be just s pheno thing rather than a weak spot in my room. All others looking great and possibly better than Iโd normally be seeing at this stage of my grow.
The plants have started to kick out an aroma, a skunky hash smell Iโd say, at the moment anyway. The buds look like they should be fat, of the density Iโm not so sure, letโs see how much they fatten up and tighten up. Beautiful covering of frost across all flowering areas covering pistils and leaves. I think at this stage that 3 of the 4 will be ready to harvest at 8 Or 9 weeks the slow one maybe at 10 weeks.
ANYBODY!!!! Out there using New millennium WinterFrost. Iโm really thinking about hitting the girls with the fear of death when the time comes, is it as effective as Iโm lead to believe?????

Damonkey Orange Sherbert looking good, well 3 of 4 one looking like not much at all๐๐ฉ theyโve got around 3 to 4 weeks left before flush anyway so there is time for a bit of catch up. The smell is ok, dank and skunky, no orange coming from them yet. On the most the buds look to be good n fat, nice n dense and a little bit sticky.

Damonkey Slight burning to some leaves so swapped over a few tings nutrient wise but things still seem on track. The buds fattening up daily like little birds sat on a tree. The smell I wouldnโt say candy or sweet, Iโd say orangey dank๐ Getting close to the end now and i think they know it. Fingers tightly crossed for a beautiful harvest.

Damonkey Well winter frost has just about seen the leaves off, not sure if itโs supposed to have such an extreme reaction, ah well maybe some tweaking needed, on the other hand the buds are looking amazing and have gained a lot of weight and size, they also seem to be producing a lot more oils in the final stage, trichomes have been turning Amber for a while on the OS and they really are about ready to come outta de yard.
NIght-time smokes, great taste and aroma, nice solid orange nuggets.
Itโs a smoke that goes straight to your head then slowly pulls at your body. After a good session my head was truly floating.......just above the couch . Iโm not going doing anything strenuous or too involved in physical activities after this. itโs for music and movies. Camp fires and sleepovers๐ the taste is pleasant sweet citrus. And the smell kinda the same. A Great quality Cannabis strain., The Rosin kicks oh does it kick, wow complete relaxation. Nice.

Damonkey Nice to watch growing OS. Kind of slow at first but then really picks up some pace nearing the end. 2 of the plants, the buds I will definitely keep. Really nice fat juicy buds. Smell great and taste great. The high is quite heavyโ๏ธ๐ป๐โ๏ธ๐ปAnd has a rapid onset. Good night-time smoke, if I smoked this during the daytime Iโd probably just smoke all day and not move. Iโll press for Rosin in the next few days too , Iโll upload info onto here at a later date.
Again thanks to Barneyโs Farm for supply the seeds, you are super generous guys and the rewards of growing are generous too. Thank you thank you thank you. What a great little
string of genes you have to add to your catalog.
Iโll also update a smoke report later when the bud has cured and is ready for real consumption ๐๐๐
Update. The bud really is looking feeling and smelling better every day of the cure, these little nugs gonna be insanely strong. Itโs already a knockout smoke, in a month sheโll be rocking 100%
About 25% of the dry bud is awesome quality the rest is still very good
@LongJohn420,just finished the trim today so about a week for drying and Iโll try a little then but I try to hold it back for a month of dry and cure before Iโll really have a try. But man let me tell you, one of the Orange Sherbert phenos has completely blown everything else in my tent away in this grow. The buds are so fat and sweet, itโs a very sticky one too. They truly are perfect theyโre hard and heavy things too. Itโs a really easy trim as well, I think the smoke from all will be very good but from 2 in particular plants I expect buds that are destined to take me to heights way beyond a lot of the stuff Iโm able to buy๐๐๐คค๐คค๐คค good luck mate I think itโll be worth it.โ๏ธ๐ป๐ฌโ๏ธ๐ป Oh and I flushed for 8 days.๐
Going super gr๐ฑ. Bet you cant wait to savour. ๐ Gonna be just like, mighty fine dining.
Nice job Mister. .... ๐๐ผokay...okay... do all those nice compliments get me a slice of da ๐ now?
๐โ๏ธ๐ผ
They look super nice, and vigorous at this stage of flowering my friend!
They might need a longer flowering time to mature properly because they are so many buds, from top to the bottom! You might want/need to harvest top buds first and leave the lower part finish. Good luck!
