Alvareas After my first two grows were autos, I'm trying a photoperiod genetic in my third grow. I chose the O.M.G from Ripper Seeds. As in my last run, I germinated 3 seeds. In the end, only the strongest and prettiest plant will go into flowering. Now, just in the first week, a little favorite is already crystallizing out, let's see if it will be the one that goes into flowering at the end. The goal in this run is also to top for the first time.

Alvareas The plants have developed well. One plant is quite small and compact, but in terms of growth speed, it's faster than the other two. The other two have grown taller, and the node spacing is larger. Since the roots of all of them are already growing out of the pot, it's time to repot. The plan was actually to separate two plants during the first repotting and go straight into the final pot. However, since my current favorite has developed strange discolorations on two leaves that I can't identify, I've decided to repot all three plants into a medium-sized pot and observe their growth for another 1-2 weeks.

Alvareas All three plants were repotted into 2-liter pots. Since they handled the repotting without any issues and continued to grow, all three plants were topped on day 18. The plants were topped after the fourth node. They also handled the topping without any problems and continued to grow nicely. Therefore, I decided to start the third veg week in the final pot. Unfortunately, this also means I have to part with two plants. You can comment on which plant you would have chosen. I always find it very hard to decide on one plant. However, since only 50g of dried flowers are allowed in Germany, it doesn't make sense to me to go into flowering with three plants. I prefer to focus on one plant and try to get the maximum out of it.

Alvareas At the beginning of the week, it was time for two plants to go. The plant I decided on was repotted into an 11-liter fabric pot. The plant handled the repotting well and has grown nicely. Unfortunately, during LST, a shoot broke off. I wanted too much too soon. It's noted for the next round. I also had to adjust the height of the LED. The usual settings didn't suit the plant very well.

Alvareas The plant is developing very well.
Through LST and daily adjusting of the main stems, I've managed to fill out the middle of the plant as well.
The stems in the middle of the plant are now at the same height as the main stems, and we have a nice, even canopy of leaves.
I will leave the plant in veg for another week and then switch to 12/12.

Alvareas The plant is developing well.
It has a nice even canopy.
On day 36, the plant was defoliated.
A large part of the lower fan leaves was removed, as well as some leaves from the canopy.
On day 42, the light schedule was switched to 12/12.

Alvareas The plant is developing very well.
It has grown a few centimeters every day.
When switching to 12/12, it was 30cm.
By the end of the first week of flowering, it was 40cm.
I think by the end of the 3rd week of flowering, the plant will be about 60cm tall.

Alvareas The plant gained another 10cm in height during the 3rd week of flowering. On the 20th day of flowering, a good amount of leaves were removed, and shoots that didn't reach the height of the others were taken off. Nothing was removed from the canopy, so there are still enough leaves that are exposed to light. The plant handled the defoliation well.

Alvareas The plant has gained another 3cm in height this week. The buds are slowly starting to grow, and the resin production is in full swing. Some leaves are beginning to darken.

Alvareas There's not much to report. The plant is developing stress-free. The buds are growing 😄
