I will start the seeds directly in the soil as i got Automatics. Will only start 2 as i will start a second run, so i can try some things.
- I use Vivosun-Pots of 11,4 l filled with Plagron Light-Mix and added 60g dolomite calcareous, some Rhizobacter and Mycorrhiza. The two Seeds will be watered between 8-12 hours in 150 ml of water with 1 drop of Plagron Seed Booster and then been put into the soil. I put a plastic dome over as they are in a tent with other plants and to avoid drastic down falls of temp.
Both appeared december 29th. They took about 60h to show up.
Switched them to another tent, as the humidity was to low with older plants in the big tent.
31.12. : I am afraid, that the soil gets to cold during the night hours. So i put a heating under the pots, so that the soil stays about 22 degrees. #1 looks a bit behind. #2 does well.
2.1. Made a big mistake and took the domes away without switching off the fan which is included in the lamp. Stressed them and stunted the #1. Was the first time using the tent for plants so tiny. :(
New week, new luck. #1 doesnt care, makes only tiny progresses. If she does not accelerate i will have to take her out. #2 isnt much effected and does quite well, will slowly start to feed her this week.
Only #2 gets Nutrition.
09.01.Started slowly to feed also #1 at the end of week 2. It looks like #1 is about 4 to 5 days behind.
#1 fought through her struggles. She is still a bit behind #2, but not that much anymore. Increased the amount of Grow nutrition for both to 80% of plagrons advice.
I put #1 on a plateau to even up the size. But the difference in size got to big and i had to split them into two different tents. #2 has 48cm and #1 23cm (29.01.2025).
Also got #2 some burned tips from the nutrition, while #1 had not such issues even so both were watered with the same amount. Now #1 looks more healthy, but i reduced the amount for both
#2 started flowering at Day 30.
#2 looks really stressed. She also got necrosis probably of a Cal-Mag deficit. At the start i put dolomite calcareous in to the soil, but seems i have to increase the amount next time. i will give her some Cal Mag. I had the idea to eliminate her, but decided to go till the end. I can learn more from struggling plants, than the well doing. And probably at the end the drama is much smaller than it now looks. At least that is my observation since starting growing. She has now nearly 80 cm and is about double the height of #1. Slowly changing her nutrition to phosphor. Have to watch out if she herms.
#1 looks good, even so she seems to be a bit late. She started preflowering at day 39. At day 42 she had 45 cm. Seems to be the chilled sister.
#2 has stretched to 98cm. She shows no further signs of a cal-mag issue, so i stopped feeding her with it, as she got bigger yellow leaf tips. She now gets the bloom mineral feeding of Plagron, but about 70% of the schedule as first Buds are growing.
#1 is 60 cm tall on day 47. She still only gets growing nutrition. She is changing from preflower to flower now and got little spots of necrosis, started to give her Mag and Cal. Removed some leaves to support smaller colas.
They both are now in a big tent.
Day 50: #2 is still stressed, probably now it is to arid and she doesnt like then wínd, i guess. Although she is pissed all the time, she reaches 101 cm. Will leave the amount of nutrition.
#1 is doing fine. Erased some lower leaves and plant shoots (?). Will slowly get incraesed Flower feeding. She has now 65 cm and i like her shape. She is slow but chilled about any circumstances.
#1 is late but is overall doing good. She has now 75 cm. And #2 has calmed down, is producing Buds and starts to smell sweet. She stayed at 101 cm. They feeding shown in the graphic is for #2 She now got Green Sensation added. # 1 is about 1 week behind with the feeding program.
Day 62: Have filled up the pots with some soil. Will take the size next week. Have also taken out some leaves at #1.
Last week i filled up the pot with some soil, so #2 decreased by 2cm to 99 cm. I reduced the p a bit, because #2 showed some sings of being stressed again, or maybe the dry air and the fan stressed her. She is in a new tent now, where she will stay until harvest. I guess this will be at least one week, we will see.
After filling the pot up, #1 now has 77 cm height. she is now building up her buds.
I decided to feed #2 the last time on day 70, guessing that she would need about 1-2 weeks. This weeks many leaves turned yellow. First i thought she also got red burnings from to much feeding or cal mag deficit, after a while i noticed that that this beautiful red spots are not burning marks but she got her autumn dress. Decided to harvest her on day 78.
#1 Got the bloom feeding + green sensation as she is about 2 weeks behind. She got signs of a cal-mag deficit. But i allready noticed that i did not use enough dolomite calcareous as this was the first time of using it. Later grows i used about 30% more of it.
!!! From this week on, the feeding schedule shows #1!!! #2 was not fed this week anymore.
Week 12 started 3 days ago with the harvest of #2. Now #1 is the only Runtz left. Hope she doesnt feel to lonely.
She is a bit slower than her sister, but she is very forgiving, her buds have a good size and i like her frame a lot. Would love if she also gets the collours of her sister. She is already smelling sweet and delicious.
#2 was finally harvested at day 78. She became such a beauty. Will not have the highest yield i had but she has the nicest camouflage. I am excited to smoke her in 2weeks or so. She smells sweet and a bit herbal/spicy.
Had some problems with her, but this were my faults as i tried some new things. Have learned some stuff and got a beauty of a plant.
She was dried for 6 days, i had to put her in a glas, otherwise she would have dried to much. Have to trim her this week. After some days in the glas, she smell like baked goods. Her Buds arent that big and not really dense, but heavy and resinious. Looking very frosty.
Day 78: #2 got harvested. She was more indica leaning in structure and also a lot faster, but stressed half of the time.
Day 88: #1 Might reach the 100 days. She has a more sativa leaning structure and is a lot slower, but was never really stressed.
#1 is doing really fine. She is slow, but will deliver a big yield. She stayed at 77 cm but her buds are still swelling. She smells sweet like her sister. Erased some leaves, that the light can get deeper. One to two weeks until harvest i would say. She still gets her nutrition.
Hey, good luck for the contest, I gave you a follow and a like and i would be happy to get connected. So i would be happy if you do follow me as well ;) So we can share our progress.
Congrats on the harvest—so dope! Those plants are looking straight-up fire. Make sure you handle the drying and curing like a pro, then chill out, spark up, and celebrate all your hard work. Mad respect!
@Turtleinweed, Thx a lot mate. And you are right drying and curing are parts where i still have a lot to learn. Its quite hard to get a constant climate in an old house in the middle of Europe.
