GrowURownMedical New year, new grow.
For this run I started it using a light mix soil and add a touch of wormcasting, perlite, a balanced top dress with Silica plus a touch of Mykos for the root development.
The idea is to keep this little girl as long as posible on this cell pots until transplant it.
The germination at the paper towel was vigorous, very nice long hairy tap root. All in 60 hours at 22ºC.
I´m going to give around 200-250 PPFD at start till she need more.
I´m leaving down detailed information from seed bank about this strain:

The feeling of coming across the ultimate Gourmet hybrid... And it is neither a figure of speech, nor a phrase that we would repeat with any other strain. You may even be familiar with the phrase "Tasty and sensory, this variety fuses the sweetness of Caramel and the softness of cotton candy". This is Cotton Candy Kush.
It is tasty, it is sensory and it is the genetics that maximizes the organoleptic properties of the best cannabis. But let's go to the why of all this.
The productive South African strain par excellence fused with one of the best mothers "made in" Delicious Seeds. Power Plant + Lavender (in turn crossed in 1st generation with a unique specimen of ruderalis). And the result is tremendously characteristic:
Big and long buds, foxtail style. An unmistakable metallic lavender color on the leaves in the last phase of the flowering period. And a resin cream generator. In the last three sentences and two lines all growers who have tried this sweetness will know that we are talking about her.
And wait we still have a few extras to go.... The manicuring is going to be easy, not the next thing (for its calyx-leaf ratio). It is very resistant to stress and pests. And its THC percentage reaches up to 25%.

Doing good so far. Now she can start up-taking the nutrients provided to the soil with the amendments of the mix.
What interests me most about this mix is Silica contribution from the amendment of Silicum Flash by Bio Tabs. I usually give silica to my plants but always through diatomaceous earth. Let's see results.

Recovering from transplant.
Transplanted on day 21. I prepared a mix os reused soil with amendments, perlite, wormcastings and some Mykos.
Roots was nicely developed and extended. I added a bit more of Mykos at the transplantation hole.
Watered at the beginning of the week with 100ml at PH 6.3, 750ml with a bit of aminos from top and bottom at PH 6.5 on day 21.

Very nice development this week.
At the middle of the week I did a top dress focused in the next weeks, 1 more week of veg and then flip to flower. On this next week I would like to top a few more bud sites but it depends on development of the next days.
She was watered 2 times, 1L with top dress and today 500 ml.

This week went very well and she developed a nice structure to work with for the stretching stage ( flip to flower tomorrow ). At the beginning of the week I topped her 4 upper tops and today some training, just some LST remove some leafs and shave the lower part, giving so better airflow and light penetration. The tent overall canopy looks pretty even.
Watered once 500 ml with amino.

GrowURownMedical Day 7 of stretching stage/pre-flowering.
Looking great, this week went smooth, nice structure for a short veg time. Her growth is very vigorous and has robust branches, another big girl... Let see how it goes.
I just removed a couple of leafs that were hiding some shoots.
The tent is getting bushy, at day 21 it will be done a big defoliation since then I´ll remove only couple of leafs if needed.
Watered 2 times 850ml and 1L, it seems she need it every 3 days.
Tomorrow I will rise the PPFD, canopy still pretty even.

Smooth week with a very nice stretch, nice amount of shoots and very vigorous. The tent is a bit messy, defoliation will be really needed at day 21. The smell in the tent is subtle but very sweet and pleasant. Every day adjusting LED height to keep it in a sweet spot. Just today I watered with a flowering top dress to prepare the soil for the 4th+ weeks.
Watered today with 1.25L and 2 more times during the week with 1L with a bit of amino.

Good week without issues, she recovered well and quick from the big defoliation and lollipop. Flowers development goes well plus some trichomes are showing up and the stacking looks good. 2 days ago I removed a few leafs.
Watered 2 times, once with 1.5L of water and 2 days ago 1.5L of compost tea.

Not a bad week. Her development is very nice, buds start to stack nicely with a short spacing and lower buds have increase size.
I did a top dress for the flowering weeks ahead. Trichome production is on and starts to smell a bit more.
Yesterday I defoliate her, just " unnecessary " leafs.

This week went well for this girl, just a bit over watered, some leaf tips look like burned but is over watering, it remembers me when I was a kid and my father was teaching me gardening. There was a plant I always over watered and symptoms was identical. The development is still pretty good maybe slowed down a bit, stacking beautifully and flowers are shaping nicely creating amazing colas. The smell start to be more consistent. Some pistils starts to change color.

Wonderful week for this girl. Development was great, flowers swelled up nicely and look like cotton candy hahaha, stacking good creating some nice colas. So shes definitely swelling up and spreading better her aroma and it is sweet as strong.
Watered 3 times, 1L, 1.25L with a touch of amino plus enzymes and 1.25L with a bit of molasses.

Easy week for this girl, shes just focused on her cotton candy flowers shape. Flowers are more chunky and colas looks fatter and frostier. Silica did also a great job here, colas are leaning a bit so some weight is packed up. She starts to fade a bit, I dimmed down a bit the light. The aroma is delicious.
Watered 3 times, 2x 1L and 0.5L.
I let a pic with some strains for my next run.

Easy and smooth week! getting very close to finish line. Flowers look amazing more chunky, some weight gained as well density and colas are leaning back a bit. Trichomes now shines with a silvery gloss. The aroma is very sweet like candy....very similar to cotton candy but kush nuance is there.
I´ll start to drop the frequency of watering and the amount of water. At this stage a bit of water stress will help with trichomes production.
Watered 2 times, 1.25L and 1.75L with enzymes.

Easy week...just watered when she need it but dropping the frequency and amount. Fantastic looking, her flowers have changed they have got a dark purple color and they are more chunky and dense as well frostier. I´ve checked trichomes and they are milky with a lot of amber on sugar leafs and bud.
Watered 2 times, 1.5L and 1.25L.
