Entering the eternity cup with two plants!
The seeds (5x Runtz) and the Plagron Green Sensation fertilizer were provided by Zamnesia and Plagron. The goal of the contest is to grow the “sexiest bud“, so lets give it a shot!
The seeds a started in 3,8l fabric pots. The soil is fertilized with 8g of Greenhouse Feeding BioGrow per plant. After a couple of weeks the plants will move to 20l fabric pots connected to the AutoPot irrigation system. Most of the nutrients are added to the soil. Every two weeks the plants will be top watered with some GreenhouseFeeding BioEnhancer and in the second half of flower the Plagron Green Sensation will be applied. Apart from that only tapwater!
Both seeds really impressed me by germinating after just 3 days in the soil. Pretty quick for putting them in directly!
These two girls share their 120x60 tent with a Blue Zushi (Dutch Passion), which is just a couple of days older. The Blue Zushi will be documented in a seperate diary.
Start of veg! Both plants look healthy, one is two days behind but eager to catch up.
Watering every second day. On day one of veg they recieved some Green House Feeding BioEnhancer.
#2 started shooting up like crazy one day after the BioEnhacer
#2 stopped her seedling-stretch and both girls look happy. Added a support to #2.
So far all my plants really like the GreenHouse Feeding soil fertilizer. There will be another round of BioEnhancer at the start of next week.
Week 3 starts with some training for Runtz #1. Since I dont plan on topping these girls, I am trying to push some growth to the lower branches with FIMing and defoliation, while (hopefully) still ending up with a big main bud.
No training for #2 so far. I am planning on transplanting during this week. On day 15 both plants receivied Green House BioEnhancer.
On day 17 both plants were transplanted into 20 l AutoPots. The soil was ammended with 3g/ L soil GreenHouse BioBloom and 0,5 g/ L soil BioGrow. Soon they will be sent into flower
Start of week 4 veg, both girls doing good :)
#2 still got no training at all - I want to test out her natural growth pattern. Once we are in to flower and finished the stretch there will be some defoliation.
#1 got another round of small defoliation and I tucked some big leafes with wires to bring more light to the sidebranches. Very happy with how it turned out, I am sure she shows some great growth in the following week, which will be the last week of veg.
The AutoPot system is not running full time yet but will be soon!
Week 5 starts with the switch to 12/12 light cycle. This marks day one of flowering, even tho they dont show signs of flowering yet.
On day 1 of flower they both recieved some BioEnhancer, apart from that only tapwater via the AutoPot system.
Both girls growing along beautifully with great vigor :)
