Grow Questions

The plant had an extremly slow beginning but at least it was nice deep green, until now. I would say it was underfed as I was feeding it minimally So far because of the tiny size of the plant. What do you people think about it? Some of the leaves are rapidly turning yellow and brown. For now I have increased bloom feed from 1ml to 4ml per l and added calmag to see if it can help...

HI I think its a potasium deficiency make sure your lights are at right distance.. but I think its because you jumped from 1ml/l to 4ml/l .. you must go slowly.. So now I will try watering them with 2ml/l topmax 2ml/l bloom and maybe lower grow to 0.5ml/l... But make sure you have right ph water! You need about 6.2 -6.5 if u using biobizz (nutes and medium). And what kind of cal/mag are you using? Is it organic? I think u dont need it if u have right ph... biobizz told me all main products already contain (cal/mag) even water contains it.. If it's your cal/mag non-organic you can destroy your microbial flora! And stop spraying water on buds! If you sprayed with nutes your buds can be inedible. 😯 Take care and Happy growing!

Hey there so I am having a very similar issue with a set of plants, started green and strong and slowly leaf symptoms like calmag, iron, zinc etc. I tried increasing the calmag like you and still no results. I see you don't have a ph listed? When i finally tested mine i found it was way outside the limits of the 6-7. I suggest checking that, either by pen, strips, or even a soil test(they have sticks and sets at the garden store). If you don't want to ph the water you can either add soil acidifier(thats a dry amendment) if the soil ph is too high. Or to raise the soil ph you could add some form of lime, like oyster shell lime which also helps with the calcium in the soil. Good luck with the problem solving ✌️

Magnesium OR Potassium deficiency , 1st signs are almost the same so keep an eye on it. You have increased your EC level so it should have a positive impact

I had the same problem with some of my autos . Is your water consistent is the PH consistent I find that autos are very sensitive to that sort of thing and that if you mess up just a little bit early on it causes lots of problems . Im not saying that your doing these things but its something to look at in order to better understand whats going on . Other wise based on what I see your plant is still alive so it has a good chance :) -Happy Growing!

@The_Projexx, what do you think about my problem in week 10?
CBDbusho
CBDbushocommented6 years ago
@The_Projexx, I’m sure it will accelerate sooner or later but I’m a bit worried because I’m away on holiday close to my planned harvest time and if the stunted growth will delay the harvest I’m f*ed

@CBDbusho, well an auto will flower when its mature enough thats the way they are designed to go haha , and as for the great white Ive never heard of that product but if it works it works . Thanks for responding ! -Happy Growing!

I can feel Your pain with that yellow leaves 😪 maybe some root problem and than problem with nutrient intake...I believe today nutrients are so complex, that only possible problem is that plant can not intake nutrient properly. I am not expert in soil growing, so I can not give You exact advice. But maybe somehow clean up soil and add Root juice to Your nutrient plan.
CBDbusho
CBDbushocommented6 years ago
@GrowSport, the initial slow growth was definiately caused by the root problem. The roots were just growing horizontally under the surface. The current issue might be caused by that initial underdevelopment of the root system in a first month. I have tried to boost up the nutes for a few watering cycles without any improvement and now I’m trying to flush it properly to see if it’s any better.

Good luck 💪I have 3 seeds home, for my next grow. I want to ask You about germination of this strain. You have one plant, from one seed?
CBDbusho
CBDbushocommented6 years ago
@GrowSport, Well, the first seed failed. It was very long to germinate it and I was not patient trying all the methods of germination. Finally it germinated in a wet paper towel but it failed to grow in soil after transplanting. I probably damaged a taproot or I was just messing with it too much initially. I had to buy another one and went smooth. Germinated within 24h, now it is a bit slow in soil but I’m sure it will pick up the pace soon

Good luck with your strain! My swiss dream auto cbd just germinated. I am going to grow it on a balcony, so i don't know if i'm going to put it in a 0,5 l cup for start and then repot it in 13l pot yet. I am a bit scared to start it in final pot, because it is still pretty cold by night (17°C). I hope your strain will start to grow bigger soon!

@CBDbusho, hmmm, that's gonna be quite a challenge. I'm not sure what is the optimal/recommended distance from Optic 1 to canopy but yeah with the additional horizontal lights it should be doable. And thanks for the humidifier recommendation - that looks like something I could yet fit into my grow space :)
CBDbusho
CBDbushocommented6 years ago
@Butrus,I think I have about 50-55cm from the top of the soil to the lens of my Optic 1, my width is about 50x50 for 2 plants. Wide angle (120 deg) of my lens and supplemental horizontal light makes this grow possible but it might be really hard:) I have seen you struggled with low humidity in a small grow area. I would recommend Donut USB humidifier. You just put it in a cup and run it on timer to adjust the humidity. I’m able to achievie up to 90% humidity with it

Butruscommented6 years ago
@CBDbusho, wow, and how much out of the 79cm is for the plant? If it wasn't auto, I would recommend to go 12/12 from the start but with auto...well, if you at least have enough space in width, you can apply some LST to keep the plants low. BTW, I'm fighting with small space as well (50x50x120cm in total) so I have my current plants with a bit of LST at ~45cm and I can't complaint, they are doing well. Cheers!

I would say stop watering her,let her dry out more than usual. I see green algae growing on the surface of your pot that means is way too wet.

CBDbushocommented6 years ago
@Philindicus, Yes the green stuff is there since I started to have a leaves problem and it is not in my Royal dwarf pot. All the conditions are the same but the results completly different

I should be getting seeds of the non-auto version soon. I'll be keeping a close eye on your progress as you're the only one here growing it (no pressure 😜. Best of luck!!

I had an impression that the plant was getting worse after increasing the nutrition. Decided to try to flush it with just a water a few times now.

I have complained about Royal Dwarf beeing slow in the first 2 weeks but Swiss dream auto cbd is much, much slower and I don’t know why. It is a third week now and it is still tiny, but Dwarf exploded and soon it will be too big:)
