Time for the next round! This is going to be a mix of breeders this run. OSS - Cheese XXL for this round! I’ve grown many OSS strains and several more than once and they are all fantastic! Looking forward to some super stony bud!! I once grew a Cheese XXL auto from another breeder 7 years ago…it will be interesting to see what the differences are with this version!
follow the Urb suggestion of using 30ml/gal when transplanting and this was soil from two grows ago that I used to transplant my veg ladies into 7gal pots. The 30ml really boosts the soil back into action along with a little cal mag and potassium silicate. The seedling is really taking off!!
I had a fan a little too close and blew the ladies sideways. I also believe they are suffering from overwatering. I’m backing off the water for a few days and will see how they look. The new growth looks good, just the lower leaves...
Having the veg light fixed is making a huge difference! Nice tight node spacing like it used to be when I first got the light! Topped her today at the 5th node to get things going for the scrog!!
Finally got her transplanted into 1gal fabric pot and she’s loving it! The fixed vet light is working wonders and the node spacing is super tight! A couple of weeks in the 1 gal and then I’ll transplant to 7gal fabric pots for her final home.
I used some Great White rooting powder when I transplanted and used Roots Organic soil in the fabric pot. I usually use Ocean Forest but the grow shop was out of it at the time.
Looking great so far!!
She’s doing great in the 1gal pot. The Great White must have really helped because she has exploded with growth! I’ll be tying her down to spread her out later today. Probably one more week in the 1gal pot before transplanting to 7gal final home. She looks super healthy!!
I stretched her out with some plant tie downs and topped her for the second and final time. I will probably transplant into 7gal fabric pots in a week or so.
She’s looking great and super dark green healthy leaves! Repairing the veg light made all of the difference!!
I transplanted into fresh new 7gal fabric pots with soil from past grows. I used two large bowl fulls of large perlite stones for a layer of drainage at the bottom of the pots before adding the soil. I broke up the soil and added a solution of 30ml URB and 20ml Hi-Brix molasses for plants (had to add 12ml pH up to get to 6.1) and mixed in my hand really good since the soil was dry as a desert. When I transplanted, I used Great White rooting powder to give her another boost. I probably should have transplanted 2 weeks ago. I used to only have 11 days in the 1 gal. I’m going to do that for sure on the next grow. I took off a couple fan leaves that were blocking bud sites. She’s looking super healthy with nice dark green leaves!!!
I had this happen: when you water it abundantly, excess water appears on the leaves in the form of dew, and when you turn on the light, the drops turn into prisms, and the leaves get burned!
