From mother to daughter

So this is the preparation for my new season. The idea is to take clones from them all and grow some extra biomass to make FPJ. Really not sure if it will go as planned, I think I'm a bit late on the schedule, but let's see how it goes! For now they are sharing all the same tent (to reduce a bit of the electricity bill). Not being the ideal due to low humidity they seem to be dealing fine with it =)

Second week since the sprout, and they seem healthy. Nothing much to add, but since they are on small coco pots I've been carefull watering at the least the top of the soil every day, to keep it moist and they seem happy. For now they are staying on this until the others finishes so I hope they can be on this at least for one to two weeks.

Thei are getting big and strong and in need of a transplant, starting to show some deficiencies and some stress due to gnats. However I changed my mind about the process that I would take because of timing, and I'll pop another seed to complete my 4 plants. Still want to take clones from them all and probably mainline them during the hot summer and put them to flower at the begining of autumn due to temperatures... No terps left behind xD Let's see how it goes but that is the plan for now. Have this one's grow for the next month and try to flower them before July....

2weeks since last update, sorry forgot to upload last week.... Just topped them a couple of days a go and I'm planing to transplant them during the weekend for their final pots. I'm just waiting for the last season to dry. During this week and half I started noticing some deficiencies so I feed them some synthetic nuts but I'll go back to biotabs once I transplant. As showed in the photos, I've tried to clone the top I've cut for each one of them. Not sure if for biomass to make FPJ or if I'm going to try some seeds during the summer... Probably both... Let's see how it goes....

So the grow oficially starts here. Just prepared my 50L airpots with about 65/35 coco/perlite and added the biotabs Amendments for a water only plan: 250g of startex per por 250g of silicium flash per por And 5 biotabs per por After transplanting i've prepared a solution with: Great white (forgot to put in the transplante hole =/) Bio enhancer by greenhouse feedings Activera from bio biz BTi from trabe Bactrex from bio tabs Orgatex from biotabs Added about 1l per plant of this solution right after transplant and also configured the blumats to automate the Watering. Since i've put an high amount of perlite i'm working the right setting to blumats since the default is overwatering. Blumats seems amazing in concept however it can be really fidely to work with. I'm considering investing on autopot, and right now i'm finish an opensource project to test something similar... More news about this in a month or só...

First full week (and a few days) on the new pots and they seem enjoy it... still fideling with blumat... one is overwatering (watermelomZ), this one i rhink is fixed now... other is too dry and start showing some deficiencies (raimbowR), just adjusted today, hoping for not comeback to a flood in a few hours.... As you can see i've done some topping and mainlining and tried a FIM on the sweet critical since its the youngest. Also noticed that the light was a bit to dimmed and i was onlybgetting about 180ppfd on the girls and that absolutely justifies the slow growth that they had since transplant... adjusted that as well to about 300 and will adjuat to 400 in a couple of days. The clones started to yellow and dry a bit so i also move them to the side since i also increased the light power I'm hoping that they will explode the next days, but i'm not sure... lets wait and see.

One week as passes and they seem responding well to the topping/mainlining, so i decided add the lst clips and once again they are responding really well to those as well. For the cbd strain since its the youngest and i've just fimmed it last week, i just olayed a bit with leaf tucking and removed 2 big leaves that where creating a shadow for the lower growth. Nothing to say about the blumats this week. I hope they are finaly tuned for this grow. Watered a bit of calmag and activera for revitalizing and added some micro life and seaweed extract to try to stimulate them =) Unfortunately my clones didnt survived. I've brough them to the main tent and i think the light was too strong and they burned out. So i need to get new ones right before flowering or else....

Week 9 and i've made my final topping and have defoliated and kept mainlin. The idea is to have 16 main colas on the thc ones because they are older and the cbd have 10 (i think). Btw the FIMming of the cbd didnt work so i had to top it this week. New light just came up. I've purchased the fc8000-evo from marshydro since that they are in a great deal of almost 40% discount and still have the last, nost eficient samsung diodes. I was a bit indecise about purchase this 5x5 overpowered light but since is a great deal and i can dimm it i think is an awsome fit because i'll have the most uniform ppfd distribution in my 4x4 and the life of the fisture will increase as . Right now its dimmed to about 40% and i have a even 450-500 ppfd on the top of the canopy. I hope they like their new "sun". For now no bad news regarding the blumat tuning but i think we are on the dry side of things... lets see how the new light and posible higher temperatures will affect the ladies and the watering. I'm planning (hoping) to flip them to flower in about two weeks
