First Auto Grow

Just getting going. We have 3 grapefruit auto from Fastbuds and 3 Dark devil from Greybeard Seeds.

All 6 plants are doing great. No issues yet. Noticed a mutant but nothing bad.

All 6 plants are doing great. No issues yet. Started a light feeding of Big bloom and Terpinator. Later in the week for the second feed I have started Grow big and increased the amount of Terpinator.

2 of my D. Devils are seeming a little water logged. I skipped a day of watering on those two just to let them dry out good. They're not so droopy today but one of them has some leaf curl under. Fed veg nutes twice this week even i though i noticed that they started producing preflowers. Edit: both devils recovered and all 6 are flowering. Defoliated devil #3 and grapefruit #2 on day 28 under light.

They're all six flowering at this point. I have done some slight defoliation on a few of them. I have started introducing bloom nutrients and plan to completely switch over by next week. I have increased the amount of Terpinator to 10ml. I'm hoping for a nice 12 to 16 inch stretch from these girls. The girls really took the new nutrients well.

Had some electrical issues and had to swap out my main power to the grow tent. I also had to make some modifications to the ventilation system to the tent. I seem to have fixed my over-watering issue with the Dark Devils. Transitioning to full on bloom nutrients this week. After having a few nights of high humidity I have adjusted their night schedule allowing me to control the humidity better during their night.

Continuing bloom nutrients this week with Terpinator. The buds seems to be filling in and leaning towards the the red LEDs. The smell fills the air and the buds are soo sticky. I seem to have some phosphorus deficiency in the larger 2 Devils. I'm looking at switching to a late bloom nutrient with 0 nitrogen and a good amount of P and K. Went with FloraBloom from GenHydro. Their last feed will be at 49 days and then I plan a 10 day flush.

The trichomes are all erect and they're starting to cloud up. My pistils are turning red. I have started flushing this week with just filtered water at about 6.4 pH. They seem to be right on schedule for what both breeders suggest for harvest time. I'm super stoked!!! Edit: still flushing the girls. 6 days to harvest and I am getting so excited to see what we reap. I keep checking the trichomes each day and each time I do I notice more of the pistils have turned red.

Great harvest and overall great experience growing Fastbuds genetics. They smelled fuely and grapefruity and even a little cheesy. I can't wait to taste them. I will dry and cure and report back in a couple months. Thanks for looking! Edit- 7 days after harvest I have all of the grapefruit in jars ready for a good cure. I will he burping them twice a day for a week and then once a day for another week. After than I plan to cure for probably another 6 weeks. I'll report back then will a flavor profile and buzz report. Edit- snuck a taste after about 2 weeks of drying and curing and it is really on point. Smooth and fruity and even a little bit funky with hints of cheese. Edit - 4 weeks into cure and I took an ounce of the grapefruit to be pressed into rosin. Got about a 15% return, right at 6 grams, and man is it tasty. Super tropical and floral in the flavor.

The dark devils were a joy to grow. The smell purple and berry and diesel-y. Super dense sticky buds with amazing purple trichomes. I wanted to grow something exotic and this was just that. I'm drying and curong and will report back in a couple months with final weight and taste/effects. Edit- 5 days into drying and 2 of the devils were dry enough to jar up. The two dried plants weighed in at 108.0 Edit - used some of the Dark devil to make butter and rosin this last week. Getting ready to gear up for another grow. Thanks for looking!!
