Week #3 new growth is going well. Did some cropping and LST and move her to large trash can setup. She seem happy at this point. Any thoughts from anyone?
Growth response after LST was reasonably with light issues. Hope to see even bigger growth this next week after getting all my lights on at same time again. Lost 2 lights overhead during 18 hours on. I think that kinda hurt my growth this week.
Late getting pics and info on here for last weeks. She is growing really well. Made big grow just the last week that I had to add extension to my can to move light up away from her. Getting ready to flip her to flower this weekend. Wish me luck in next stage. I'm using Fox Farm big bloom.
So is it better to water at start of light time or right before dark time during flower stage? When should I water during flower stage is my question. Was wonder if water right before dark time it might give her a boost for better growth?

It doesn't matter if it's day or night when your watering the root zone. But only water when it's really needed. Since you have excellent access to your pot you shouldn't have any issues getting leaves wet with nutrient rich water and the light causing any type of burn spots on the leaves. Afghan Kush is a mildew resistant land race strain. Humidity will fluctuate between waterings. Your at a point in your grow where the plant is stretching which is normal it will allow plenty of light/air circulation around your buds. As far as inter node spacing genetics, excess nitrogen,low intensity lights, day/night temperature difference of more than 10 degrees all influence this aspect. You can start to remove fan leaves from the lower 1/3 of your plant and remove tiny bud sites also which will never get enough light to produce much. This will re- direct energy to the upper buds. Good luck your going to have some nice smelly,sticky Afghani nuggets when your done.
She has started to flower this last weekend. I've made it to this stage with no issues. Its exciting time for a first time grower. But I'm not kidding myself I have long way to go and anything could happen. I'm adding a exhale 365 this week to improve CO2 in the tent. Hope next few weeks go like the rest I've completed.
We are making progress with flowering. I have a bag of exhale 365 CO2 coming to finish flowering stage. Just wish I knew about it earlier on. Live and learn.
Another week of flowering slow growth on buds but looking better since I put Exhale 365 last week. Nice frost on pic #1. Just set back and see what happens.
Small growth on buds. Have stigma color change. How long can you go after stigma start changing color before I need to look for harvesting her?????? Any insight on this would be great.
It was a challenge since it was my first grow and I started her as a space bucket grow and switch to a tent halfway through which the start caused her to produce smaller then normal bud and me being a first time grower didn't help.
It was an experience with trying to control her in bucket. Getting a 4X4 tent really helped but still produced small bud from small grow space at start. It is what it is. I liked the challenge to grow a plant. And thanks to all who gave advise thru this grow. 😀😀
Hi, i fear you have to do more trining on her, because of the strech in flowr, othrwise she grows out your bucket..... she also may need more light/ more lux in the flower. but we will see iam going to follow up to look
@Mrs_Larimar,I have more and better lights in top of the lid you just don't see them in pics I have lights down the side to help with lighting at bottom. I also have an extension ready made to help move lights up when flower stretch starts. Thanks for info and please check back.
@Mrs_Larimar, Ya it's nice step up. She wouldn't be lonely if she wasn't in flower stage. I have a Shiva clone someone gave me waiting in the wing in my original setup plus I have 4 seeds germinating 2 BlueBerry, 1 Critical Purple Kush, 1 OG Kush. As soon as I harvest her they are going in the tent. It's going to be fun on next grow.
Hey there just curious...you mentioned the grow big, and that you're just using the big bloom. Are you going to use any flowering nutrients like their tiger bloom? Because with the big bloom being their micronutrients I'm not sure you'll be giving enough p and k. I think the npk on the big bloom is only decimal numbers right? Like .5 or 0.5
You'll want something more like 2-6-8 or around there.
@Weddingday420, that's good. Ive met a few people who had assumed the big bloom was a flowering nutrient because of the name.... I just wanted to make sure you didn't wind up with unexpected deficiencies.
Dont have pics loaded yet but I finally got my 4ft x 4ft grow tent put together with lights and fan. It will b end of week maybe before I can post pics of her in her new home.
