McBubatz 24. MARCH
The seeds are going into the paper towel
27. MARCH
Roots are out, going into the soil today.
About the nutrients:
as indicated by Bio Tabs,
-2 Bio Tabs
-50g Startrex mixed into the soil
-5g Mycotrex in the hole where it will be planted
-1g/l Bactrex and 5ml/l Orgatrex added to the water and soil
04.14.25, a little update here, the first seed was on me, but the 2nd one I tried (in the Jiffy like my Honey in the other diary) just stopped after about 2mm of root.
Well, Seed No. 3 is now in the damp paper towel and will go back into a Jiffy to start, hopefully this time it goes well🙈
04.17.2025
So my dears, it’s time 😅, the Sun of a Peach is out of the soil, Seed No. 3 is now on its way and hopefully it's really eager, the root has already broken through the Jiffy 😁💪, so the little one is already in its 12l pot.
As soon as the leaves are visible, I’ll start week 1.
Catch you later

McBubatz 1 week, the little Sun is finally up and I'm happy that seed No. 3 has worked out.
Unfortunately, it's now over a week behind the others, but then it might just stay a bit smaller if necessary, I'll have to see how I handle that.
Otherwise, I wish you all a happy Easter holiday.
See you next week then!

McBubatz 2nd week, the little one is slowly getting into gear 😁
McBubatz Hmm, the little one is growing slowly, I've had a few fungus gnats over the soil in the tent, not sure if that's the reason. Yellow sticky traps and nematodes have done a good job cleaning up, and I hope she picks up the pace next week because I want to switch to flowering with the others soon.
Day 24, the little one got a bit of LST, need to step it up because it's almost time for flowering 😁
Day 28, so the little Peach is slowly coming along, she got topped today, will have a few days to recover and then we'll switch to flowering.

McBubatz 5th week, the little Sun of a Peach is slowly recovering from the topping and I believe I will switch to 12/12 tomorrow. I think that should work, they still have some time to grow in the flowering stage, so I hope she won't stay so tiny 😅.
31st day, switched to 12/12 today, she's doing well so far, hope she puts on a bit more growth before she fully goes into flowering 😅
Thanks for stopping by, you lovely people, stay healthy and I wish you all a great week 🤙🍀

McBubatz 6th week, Peachy looks good and is growing diligently.
39th day, did some defoliation and raised Peachy and Honey a bit so that they all have roughly the same height.

McBubatz Week 7, the plants are doing well, getting a bit tight in the tent 😄.
Day 44, yeah I think the good one is a hermaphrodite, but I'm not 100% sure because it looks like bananas but one has a pistil coming out and the other looks like just a tiny side shoot growing out 😅 damn, I need to observe it for a few more days, if necessary, the good one goes in the bin 🙈
Hi, I haven't had any hermaphrodites or males so far, but I saw something strange with the Sun of a Peach and I'm a bit unsure, maybe one of you knows better. Could it possibly be new shoots? It looks like that on one of them?
Hey 👋
Doesn't look like hermaphroditism to me.
Some of the fruiting bodies shown have pistils sticking out.
My Pineapple looked similar since day 1 — so far, no male flowers or anything like that are visible.
Hope that helps 🖖🍀👊

McBubatz Unfortunately, unfortunately, a shot in the oven. It's hermaphroditic unfortunately and has to go since I can't isolate it (sadly I have no space).
Well, up until now it was doing quite well. I don't know if I should try Anesia again, so far unfortunately the worst seeds in terms of germination and my first hermaphrodite. It had the least training and therefore less stress than the others, the conditions are also okay so far, I don't know what I might have done wrong.
Such a shame, but thanks anyway for the diligent checking in and liking.
@McBubatz, I know that. I only had autos at the beginning too. It definitely has its advantages. But the fact that you can't shape the veggie stage the way you want is a big disadvantage, I think. ✌️
@MrGreen187, yeah, the thing with the veggie is true, but I'm a bit concerned about nutrient supply, I'm using Bio Tabs for the first time because I really wanted to try them 😅. Hope I can get them well supplied.
I wanted to go with that at first, but then I'd definitely choose the Vanilla Frosting 🍀 I was just about to say, or rather, what distances🤔 Too much light??
@Brujha77, hmm about 30 DLI with a distance of just under 40cm should actually be fine. I'm just surprised that the side branches aren't growing away from the stem; they're so short that I can't even do LST 😅
@Apfelsaft94, I'm curious if it's really like that. But I have to say the autos have all been pretty good so far, the effects and taste have always been top-notch. That's why I had to give it a try, I've heard that quite a few times 😁
@McBubatz, sure there are good autos, but you lack control; you're always under time pressure and can't do much training because of that. Also, the genetics are usually much more stable. For my current run, I have 1 photo plant, 1 F1, and 1 auto plant. Let's see which one turns out the best haha.
@OrionGrowgul, thanks 😁, yeah the start wasn't that great, let me tell you, I messed up 1 seed and 1 just didn't want to grow. Unfortunately, it's now 1.5 weeks behind the other 2 and has to stay a bit smaller 😅. Check out the Honey and Mental Rainbow, they're a bit bigger 😄. These are my first photoperiods that I'm doing 🙈, hope all 3 turn out well.
Hi, you've picked some nice strains there. Good luck and have fun with the grow 🌱🍀 My Honey from RQS was really tasty. The Peach is also still on my list 👍
@Borberad, 😁 thanks thanks, yes the Honey is also from RQS and was the first to have roots outside, it's going into the pot tomorrow (today) at noon. I'm most excited about the Peach, since I haven't had anything from Anesia yet and the product description definitely did its part 😅.
@Mia_BIOTABS, yeah it might look a bit dense in the picture because I trimmed the side shoots at the bottom before, but it's still okay. However, the side shoots aren't getting any longer; they're only a few cm long and aren't growing away from the stem. I need to take a picture where you can see it clearly 😅.
@RasendeRollo92, haha thanks 😄💪. Yeah, I actually wanted to put them in Jiffy for a few days in the sun, but the root already went through the bottom, maybe it will catch up. This time I want to train a bit more intensively since I can control when it goes into flowering 😄.
@DrGruen, yeah it happened but the quality of the seeds was really terrible here, I was already worried because they were all so extremely light and well, out of 3 seeds not 1 was usable, very disappointing for feminized seeds I must say. So far, this is really the only strain where something like this has happened to me 🤔
@Momentum, yeah I still have one little bean left that I think I'll try out sometime when I have space. But that was really bitter, I spent 60€ for 5 seeds 😥 they were just the most expensive seeds so far, I really expected better. Well, it is what it is, and the other 2 plants are actually doing really well right now.
