Sejanus21 I liked Special Queen #1 a lot last year. So I took a few of my other free seeds of last year, and luckily one germinated. She took a few days, but she made it. She is now living in a 1l Airpot with 60% BioBizz Ligtmix and 40% BioBizz Coco. I added 5g of a professional depot fertilizer, Haifa Multicote 6M. The seedling is sitting in the basement under my SanLight EVO 3-80 at 75% at a distance of 50cm. I will transfer her into my greenhouse at the end of April.

Sejanus21 She is growing very slowly. Her leaves are deformed, but she is trying to push through. I am quite confident that she will survive. I added some Fulvital Plus Liquid and Dymomyco Spark 3. Next week, we will know more.

Sejanus21 Special Queen #1 is finally picking up. She has pumped out additional leaves which look normal. My son has taken over my duties until Easter Monday; he has sent the picture above.

Sejanus21 An eventful week! I moved the lady to 1 12.5l Airpot (filled with Aldi Universal Bio plus Perlite and Seramis) and then yesterday I topped her. I was quite nervous, because it was the first time that I topped a cannabis plant. It hurts to cut the nice upper part, but everything turned out perfect. Already today she is visibly developing two main stems which was exactly the purpose of the operation. Moreover, I finally opened the greenhouse and garden season. Yesterday, she spent her first day in the garden and for the night I took her to the cozy greenhouse. She got a leave treatment with neem-oil to prevent bugs and other unwanted guests. For this season, I upgraded my greenhouse with a heating fan, which worked wonders by keeping temperature and humidity between 16 and 19°C and humidity around 65% although the outside temperature fell to 8°C. As in the last year, I installed my Spider Farmer SF 1000 as additional light source between 16:00 and 23:00. But see for yourself; I took a lot of pictures.

Sejanus21 Special Queen #1 has EXPLODED from 17cm to 53cm. In the afternoons I put her in the garden to enjoy the sun. Lots of light, hot temperatures over the days and heating to 16-19°C at night. The topping was the right decision. She has already more than recovered from it. My current plan is to switch to flower in a week.

Sejanus21 Good growth in the last week. On Friday, I decided on a last minute second topping of the higher of the two new main stems. A little risky, but I hope it will pay off. Temperatures are fluctuating heavily even in my greenhouse with heating, but nothing can stop the lady now. I will initiate flowering tomorrow. This will be a lot of work, because I have to bring her into my dark basement every evening and back to the garden in the morning. But we do everything for our ladies, right?

Sejanus21 Flowering has been initiated last Monday. Now my routine is to carry the ladies into the garden in the morning and return them to the dark basement at 18:00. At 06:00 the SanLight EVO 3-80 is turning on at 75%. When I am not at home (as today) they stay in the basement, when I have time I bring them into the garden around 10:00. They already show their sex, white hair is growing. Except for a few bugs which I fight with need-oil and my fingers, there are no problems.

Sejanus21 The weather in the Rhineland region in Germany was colder and less sunny. So I kept the lady in the basement most of the time. The stretch is not as extensive as I would have feared, yet. The topping seemed to have been quite effective. Lollipopping last week will help her to focus her energy on the upper buds. I reduced the NPK nutrition a little and switched to CalMag to prevent overfeeding. In total, I am happy with the progress last week.

Sejanus21 I love the round and fat buds of the Special Queen. No resin, yet, but these buds already look impressive. She shows slight overfeeding symptoms, but nothing to worry about.

Sejanus21 The weather was not ideal last week. Less sun, more rain, lower temperatures. But the buds are fattening anyway. Also, some nice colors show up, probably due to the cooler temperatures outside. At night in the basement, the temperatures are higher, but I needed to activate a dehumidifier. Moreover, I killed a lot of thrips with another load of neem-oil. Finally, after long discussions with various chatbots, I changed the feeding. Since I had rainwater available, I used Hakaphos Soft Novell 11-11-30 as my main fertilizer, increasing the EC to 2,3, the highest I ever used. We will see what happens :-)

Sejanus21 We had some very hot days this weeks. Our Queen drank a lot of water. I returned to Plagron Alga Bloom as main fertilizer and added a new product of Haifa, a pure potassium and sulphur booster. This should increase resin and terpene production to a maximum. You can see, that she already looks very juicy. I am looking forward to next week, which will have ideal weather conditions.
Wow I believe that after this massive vegetative this plant will be huge at the end of the summer I just hope you have made a nice hole in the ground, I grew this Sukunk x Power Bud in a 50 liter pot in 2023 with a mix of dry potting soil and Biobizz,It came to be taller than me with two heads, for reasons of space and notoriety I performed lollipopping in the first weeks before July and apical pruning but still it came to be more than two meters I recommend you perform LST if you want a more lateral growth during the final period I recommend you to make it very resinous by bringing it under a cover maybe even doing a supercropping the plant has become incredibly resinous and golden a spectacular plant, with a real funk in the typical mint and cheese smell I have done the fimming and apical pruning in the first few days I wish you an amazing harvest11 I will follow the evolution😍😍
@555ABKY555, Thanks for your detailed feedback! Since I have already initiated flowering, I plan to harvest mid July. Calculating a 2-3x stretch, the lady should stay below 1,60 (I hope). Also my pot is only 13 liter. How have you increased resin production?
Btw, I have a second Special Queen which is at 30cm; I already topped her twice. She will be planted in the garden to ride the full season. We will see what happens :-)
